Went for dinner last night. Had the fish tacos and the island burger with fries. The fish tacos were supposed to be the starter. I guess they were but, I was only given enough time to eat one before the burger came out. Fish tacos — you get 3 for $ 12. I was not all that impressed then they came out. I was actually worried about how the fish looked. It was a single floppy strip of talopia over the slaw and spicy mayo. The fish was seasoned with a Cajun style spice it tasted like. The fish could have been cooked a bit more to get that flake I like on my fish. They would have tasted netter with just the slaw and spices mayo. That part was amazing. Island burger and fries $ 12. Well as mentioned it came out way too fast. So by the time I got to it the fries were barely warm. But added a little vinegar and ketchup and they were passable. Wish they would have been hot. Now the burger. This was the biggest disappointment of the meal. Probably why I am not feeling get today. It looked like a burger off the old Popeye cartoon. Bun meat bun. Hidden was onion, pineapple, and spicy mayo. I ordered medium. The burger came out extra rare. Very much lacked any seasoning. The pineapple and onions added no flavor. Very blah burger. I only ate about half of it as it was mooing at me at every bit. I prefer my hamburger cooked. This was still bloody. There service. It was slow. The bartenders were obviously bored. One was really interested in eating chips and dip and a label maker. The other was well just kind of there. I would not say I had bad service, but probably the least engaging that I have seen so far this trip.

The Chicken schnitzel sandwich was the best sandwich I have had in a long time! My boyfriend’s burger was cooked perfectly and delicious!

Really friendly staff! We ate wings at the bar and had a few beers. Great place to stop in when it’s too hot outside!

This place blows — avoid if you’re not a local. Very sketchy vibe 11pm and later. I rate it 2 stars, just for the #views.

For being by the beach, this place has good music, atmosphere, and good prices for drinks. Came in on a Monday and the place was packed. Had a very good time

Awesome place and great food. They accomodated our party of 12 on a busy Saturday night. Not exactly the fastest, but I found it worth the wait. Loved the tiki décor too!

Great place! Tasty food and good service! We were a party of nine tourists at lunchtime and were accommodated outside on their patio. It was a very sunny day so we asked for an umbrella, which they set up right away. Everything we ordered, including appetizers, came out on time and correctly. I ordered the pesto chicken sandwich(yum!) and a hummus appetizer, also very good. The wait staff were so nice to our kids, made conversation with them, it was a nice experience. I’ll be back again!

Pleasantly surprised. Service was a little slow but it was only one server in the whole place so considering that, it was fine. The food we had was tasty. Our party had everything from a veggie burger, pizza, adult Mac n cheese to a Philly steak sub. I wouldn’t bring kids but for grown ups it’s fine. I would check this place out again when I come back to town.

Waited 15 min, asked what the specials were. Bartender told me as soon as I was about to order a beer walked away and never came back.

I’m not the type of person to say«Never go there,» but seriously never go to this place. I went here once on a slow night with my girl and sat at the bar. The bartender looked like this was her first night ever behind a bar. We sat there for about ten minutes until she even acknowledged us. The drinks are not as great as they sound either. The service that night was just so bad we said we would never come here again. Fast forward a few months, we’re bar hopping on the boardwalk with some of our friends and they said we should go here next. I didn’t want to dampen the group’s mood by saying no, so we headed over. I’m not lying when I said we sat there for 15 minutes until the girl finally came over with a menu, no acknowledgment or anything for that long is not acceptable. I got one of their piña coladas to try, and it didn’t taste right at all, but again not wanting to bring the group’s mood down. So I finished it and decided to stick with something I knew they couldn’t mess up — scotch. So I ordered a McAllen 12 year(probably the best scotch they have in their selection) and of course it’s wrong. The glass is over filled with ice with half the amount of scotch it should have had in it(a correct scotch pour is 1 ¾ ounce and I got about half of that). So I go up to the bar and politely say I think I’ve been shorted and then the bartenders yelled at me and said I had no idea what I’m talking about, mind you I’ve been drinking scotch for about a decade. Their rude response was«So do you want it or not?» That was the final straw for me. I didn’t want to argue, there was no manager around to offer an apology, nothing. So we paid for what we drank and left. I’ve never been so disrespected in a restaurant/bar. This place has such a cool setup and so much potential, especially being right on the beach, but they’re not going to get any more business if they keep treating their locals like this. I can only imagine how horribly they treat tourists

I have to say, the view can’t be beat. This is just far enough off the boardwalk that you get some peace and quiet. You get to drink your tiki beverage in front of the big blue fabulous ocean. But the food is just average, and the drinks didn’t actually have tiki umbrellas. Like… really… no umbrellas?! That’s what a Tiki bar is all about! We got some of the football special appetizers. Overall, solid quesadillas and nachos. But nothing super special. I would come back for the ocean view and comfort snacks alone, but seriously… get those umbrellas in stock. Otherwise, take Tiki off the title of the bar…

I was hovering between three and four stars only because the service here wasn’t great. Once we walked in we were told to seat ourselves, which we didn’t think too much about because we expected to be waited on within a reasonable amount of time, but that didn’t happen. We had to get our own menus and then eventually flag someone down to wait on us. After that, however, our server made up for it with prompt service. After you get past the initial introduction it gets much better. The food is very good and the atmosphere is great because their music selection is on point. If you like reggae and Ska, then you’ll appreciate their playlist. The food is amazing, especially the fajita spring rolls. My girlfriend had the chicken skewers and they were cooked to pefection. In the end, I would recommend this place, just be prepared to wait for service.

We enjoyed the Tiki Bar very much and the best part was that their menu actually differed the rest of the bars in the area. We found some Middle Eastern cuisine mixed into their regular American menu. We ended up ordering their Kabob sliders which tasted just like Beef Kubideh and they added some Hummas, Tahini sauce and Chutney. Delicious! We also started out with their chicken strips but I found it to be very bland, however, it seems to be a favorite item on the menu for others. I needed up switching my chow ken strips for their chunky kabobs which was very delicious with the onions and pepper mix on the side. Their drinks were amazing and very refreshing! I would highly recommend the coconut frozen Margarita! Their patio seating was nice and relaxing with a beautiful view of the beach and ocean!

This would have been a 5.5 star visit but I had to dock them half a star because they did not have a Tiki cup! Our server Ashley worked frantically trying to find me a tiki cup for my rum but she had no luck. Ashley was the standard as far as servers go, fun, friendly, and prompt. She luckily had a good sense of humor so she was able to deal with our group of 7. The bar’s atmosphere was very appropriate for the name, the drinks were too cold, the food was too good, and the staff was way too effective at their job. I will surly start my future boardwalk crawls here if they fix the not having ticki cups thing… Solid bar, worth stopping in. Happy hour was exactly what we needed.

We came here for a 10pm dinner and we were starving! We ordered hummus with falafel for an appetizer, I got a mango mojito and my boyfriend got a beer. Hummus with falafel was great and also came with veggies and pita. Falafel was hot and crispy. My drink was good although I think it was suppose to be spicy. We split a South of the border burger and the Mediterranean sloppy Joe. The burger had good flavor although it was cooked way paste the medium rare I had asked for. Still tasty though. The Mediterranean sloppy Joe was different and really tasty. Spices were on point. We got the spicy fries which adds jalapeños and onions and those were pretty good although we were so full we couldn’t finish our fries. Our server was super sweet and attentive and the ambiance was pretty cool. Casual and bar-y but not too crowded. They also had ping pong!

This was probably my favorite place we went to in Myrtle Beach. It’s fun. It’s beachy. But most importantly, their drinks are amazing. I got to try two drinks to myself before my group decided to leave(wish I had stayed) — the Bourbon Peach mojito and the Strawberry Shortcake. The Bourbon Peach mojito was very tasty — fresh lemons and limes in there, nice bourbon flavor, and really just a great mojito. Very refreshing on a hot day. The Strawberry Shortcake was like an alcoholic milkshake and I could not stop drinking it. They are also deceptively strong and I could feel the alcohol after I kind of devoured the milkshake-like Strawberry Shortcake. Prices were good too for drinks that are fairly specialty. This is not a fancy place, drinks come in plastic cups, but the quality of the drinks is better than half the fancy cocktail places I have been in. The staff is really nice and attentive. The place is divey and fun, kind of how it should be in a touristy place like Myrtle Beach. It’s exactly what you imagine the bar you go on vacation looking like. They have a shot called the Jeffrey which is large, has a ton of alcohol, and definitely messed a few people in our group up. The shot is like a frat boy’s dream shot. I think. Anyhow, definitely cannot be missed if visiting Myrtle Beach!
