Banana Boy

I go here periodically and really enjoy some of their refreshing treats. The healthy smoothies are my favorite. I’ve personally had great experiences with their customer service. They now have two locations in Temecula.
If they open a location in Murrieta close to where I live, I’m in trouble.

Discovered this place after going to Cycle Gear across the street. Wanted something healthy to drink and I was so surprised that they have SO much more than Juice it Up! I love the protein drink — the one with the chia seeds. The chef salad also rocks! I have been here 3 times so far — come all the way from Riverside! I think it is family owned — very nice people!

I have been trying to come here for a while… I didnt want junk to load up on… the menu is large, portions good, prices great! I could have something different everyday an not duplicate for a month!

I’ve had their fruit salads and smoothies. They are very tasty and delicious. The fruit tastes ripe, sweet and fresh. Definitely worth checking out.

Ive eaten here twice and each time felt sick, a few of my coworkers felt the same way. On the other hand their smoothies are pretty good, but don’t taste very healthy, they make me feel too full. Everyone does have their own taste & opinions but that is what my experiences have been like.

So last Saturday I stopped by at the Temecula Banana Boy location on the corner of Rancho California & Margarita Rd. Yes!!! It’s finally open!
I order La Cubana and the Asian Attack!

Have mercy! They were so good! I couldn’t decide which sandwich was the best! Just so you know; the Asian Attack was spicier, yet so flavorful!!! La Cubana was filling though. I was tempted to have dessert!!! But I thought I’d have to try another day! Sandwiches are a bit pricey but well worth it! If you find yourself in the area, make sure you give this place a try!

Delicious, fresh and guilt free. So yummy, all the fruit is perfectly ripe and sweet. The atmosphere is super clean, comfortable, cute and hip. Staff was very friendly and great customer service. Totally recommended to bring kids to eat healthier food.

The one day they did not open on time was due to a car accident where their axel fell off their car while they were. Its a family run business who could have easily not come in due to the emergency, but they made it in and immediately started serving the customers who patiently waited for them to open.
Always enjoy my visits their. Incredibly friendly and always delicious.

This is our second time coming here and just like the first time… The service and the staff were awesome. We travel 35 minutes out of the way to stop here. That’s how great the food, service and all around experience is at this place. If your ever in the area this is a must try location.

While vacationing in S. Ca. and taking a travel break we came across Banana Boy via Unilocal.Being sick & tired of the fast food restaurants found typically off the interstates we as a family decided to give it a go.
While exiting off the fwy my youngest noticed a park like setting with a duck pond and asked «oooh mom can we have a picnic.» When we arrived the kids noticed the monkey logo & got a kick out of it!
We selected a winner, not only was the store clean the staff was friendly and must have overheard of our picnic plan & wrapped & packaged our sandwiches with extra care.
Sandwiches were a hit!!!

Amazing!!! Had the pollo asado and craved it the rest of the day!!! And the pico de gallo is amazing

Fantastic service, very friendly staff, and the manager is very understanding.
I ordered the strawberry sunrise and a orange cream shake. Both were very Delicious, the only critique I have is that the orange cream child use a little more orange.

Cool little place. Food and service was great… but my kids said the ice cream was the best part (I wonder why). Highly recommend.

–For a sterile experience head to a franchise. I m sure they will remember our name?! It’s a BREAK from the corp. world!
*These young proprietors are passionate about their business… they care about their customers, it’s evident as they are very accommodating.
*Everything is SUPER fresh at B.B. all the while their food items are very flavorful.
*TASTY twists on classics that work, their sandwiches are pretty darn good!
*They offer «healthy» items as well as deadly caloric items for those special «so called» cheat days.
I saved the BEST for last!
*Their «Mango Madness» is a match made in heaven!
They top it with mango sorbet, chamoy & a tamarindo candy straw, HOLLY SH%# it’s ridiculous!
The other versions in the area fall extremely short in-​comparison to B. B’S «Mango Madness.»

I get all my sandwiches in the torta buns with either their chipotle or cilantro sauce.
I’ve desided I am gonna work myself down the list of sandwiches.

We came here because of the great ratings and we’re truly disappointed. It took 25 minutes for them to get our food ready (we only ordered 2 sandwiches and 1 drink). We were the only people that were there then a family of 4 came in right after that. They seem to know the owner and they got their food right away within 5 mins. I was a little annoyed to see this but just waited patiently. Then another guy walked through and they knew him and he got his food and to go drink right away. At this point I was pretty upset and told my husband I wanted to leave but then our food came… not the drink.
Another person came in while we were waiting for our drink with 2 kids and the owner knew her so 5 mins after we got our food, she and her kids got their food. I am so confused. I know they didn’t call their order in ahead because they ordered at the restaurant.
Overall, I didn’t have a good experience. The food and drinks were not good either. I had high expectations due to the great reviews and left disappointed and not wanting to come back. For much better service and even better food try jersey Mikes or Jamba juice.
2 stars for a very clean interior and although the service was extremely slow the owner and the cashier seems like they are nice and take care of their customers but they of course take better care of customers they know.

I’m new around the area and I was craving a torta from San Diego and a fruit bowl. My friend heard of a good place around but couldn’t remember the name. She went on Temecula Talk and everyone on the page recommend Banana Boy. So I went to Banana Boy…
Right when I walked in a was greeted by all the employees which was just wonderful to see and hear. I’m pretty sure this is a family owned business because everyone was so kind and wonderful.
I took my order to go and it was amazing! The fruit was fresh and not pre-​sliced. Everything is made right in front of you. My sandwich was the perfect size. I was hoping for a shredded chicken torta but they only had a chicken breast grilled so I went with turkey. Meats were top of the line meats and worth the price they charge. When you look at menu and prices you think that’s a little pricey for Murrieta but it’s the same price as back home.
I will definitely recommend and love the heathy fruit bowls. Hopefully they get more around town. Menifee needs one!

Driving by saw the door open wife and I decide to stop by. the store does not officially until 10am we stopped at about 930am. the business did not tell us we are not open but they were happy to serve us.
I custom made a banana chocolate smoothie. Great tasting, strong banana chocolate, nice thick consistency.
Wife ordered the antioxidant. it s acai strawberry banana orange juice pomegranate chia seeds. blended w real fruit. she loved the flavor combination.
5 stars for flavor, 5 stars for costumer service.
