A good stop for all your breakfast needs. This place is like in those woods environment with hot scrambled eggs and toasts going across the tables. The pesto avocado egg had an excellent taste with potatoes on side. The freshly squeezed orange juice will fulfill all your morning sugars. Will visit once again if we are at the Murphys

I was a little underwhelmed when I walked in because you order at the counter right when you walk in, and the dining space was pretty bare. But the food was awesome! I had the huevos rancheros. You could have it with bacon, sausage or steak, and I chose the steak. It was just a perfect breakfast. Super fresh, with green salsa, plenty of avocado, feta cheese. The meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly, and came on top of tortillas, with beans, and two sunny side eggs on top. My hubby had the breakfast burrito which was the biggest burrito I have ever seen. He had it with the homemade sausage, which he really enjoyed. Nice eats!

I rolled up to this joint at about 230pm wanting some eggs and shit, and what are the chances. THEPLACESERVESBREAKFASTALLDAY!!! The breakfast burrito I got was the size of a 10 lb baby with a side of fresh fruit. It was the perfect remedy for the wine drunk that I was. My girl had the phillipino bowl and it was as sweet as Santa during Christmas in July. All in all, highly recommended as a stop for your wine drunk day in Murphys.

The Filipino Bowl is fusion food gone bad. Coconut sticky rice is inherently sweet, thus it is mostly used in desserts in Asian cooking. Smother the sweet coconut rice with a store-bought sweet chili sauce, which is only used as a dipping sauce for egg rolls and such, then the resulting dish is overly sweet. Even adding Tapatio to the dish did not mask the sweetness. I did not finish the dish. We also ordered a roasted veggie sandwich. Nothing special about the sandwich, but the side salad was drenched in some sweet dressing. I’m giving the place two stars for friendly service and good ambiance. I will not return to this restaurant.

I’ve been here twice now, and both times the food was OUTSTANDING. The casual atmosphere makes for a great lunch environment, whether dining inside or on either of the patios. The food is very flavorful, fresh, and gourmet with large portions, making the pricing a great deal for what you get. It appears average pricing is about $ 11 per person. Don’t forget their dynamite bread puddings for dessert. I will definitely recommend to our Airbnb guests, plus return again on future visits.

This place was the perfect place to stop by for some breakfast before heading out to the hikes and landmarks around the area. You order up in front, grab a seat, and then they bring your food to you. I ordered a Pear and Gorgonzola cheese sandwich, the special for that day, and my boyfriend ordered the popular Filipino Bowl. I’m a huge fan of sweet/salty combinations, and Magnolia definitely nailed it with my sandwich. The pear was super thinly sliced, there was just the right amount of cheese, and just enough vegetables to not overwhelm the two flavors. Not to mention that the sandwich was perfectly toasted! My boyfriend’s bowl was delicious as well, but I have to admit that the sweetness of the dish was a little surprising. I would recommend getting the sauce on the side. We also ordered a blondie to take along our hike, and it was so delicious and cheap(less than $ 2 and it was huge)! The menu is filled with a lot of classics, but a lot of unique dishes as well. The restaurant is adorable, with lots of greenery. I can see this place getting crowded, but there are a lot of seats located both inside and outside. I would love to come back one day!

Always delicious and they change it up by putting new things on their menu. Plus they have a great $ 5 kids menu that includes a drink and choice of breakfast or lunch.

It is truly delicious. You should get the Philippine breakfast bowl. There are many great items on the menu like the Bate sandwich(bacon, avocado, tomato, egg). The staff are helpful and friendly. My family eats at Magnolia whenever we go to Murphys. Magnolia café is the best place in Murphys for breakfast. I really recommend Magnolia café for everybody.

We looked up this place on Unilocal and we are glad we did. The food choices are amazing, everything looked so good it took us about 10 minutes just to pick what we wanted. This place a cute little spot that looks fairly new and it’s supper clean. The food portions are huge but so so good. Skip the spot across the street and make sure you come here for the breakfast or brunch. The plus side is they serve breakfast and lunch until they close at 3:00. Will go back when we visit Murphy’s again.

Have had lunch here a couple of times and it’s always great. It’s a small walk up and order place with yummy, different food combinations that are always good and has something for everyone. The only downside is the lack of parking.

Magnolia Café is an amazing place and you have to check it out when you’re in town. They have an awesome menu that’s packed with dishes that will satisfy everyone. It’s a great casual atmosphere with a nice staff and a good location. Parking can be an issue at times so be prepared for that.

A local breakfast fave destination, my wife and I love this place. Usually quite busy. Not long wait time. Parking good, sometimes crowded. Love the«Bate –8» and«Filipino Bowl» plus others, too. Small selection of baked goods are nice as well. Only place in town that sells heirloom house plants! Love this place!

The place has a small soft on the eyes fireplace atmosphere with outdoor seating when dry out(can’t complain it was rainy ;) I like that everything is fresh and wholesome, their menu has fusion items as well as traditional breakfast items. I stepped out of my comfy zone which I tend to do on a whim, got the Filipino bowl(eggs over easy, tomatoes, rice, chives, chorizo, sweet chili sauce and seasoning). That was an unusual dish due to the fact I didn’t realize how sweet chili sauce transformed and confused my taste buds. I learned not to order that for a breakfast again only because my tastes don’t match with it. Hey, it’s for some and not for some too. No knock off for that. The chorizo was alright. It’s a lot of chorizo! I also ordered French toast and that was fantastic, I enjoyed the orange butter with maple syrup mixed in. It was like a dessert with all that sugar! My friend got the breakfast burrito, delicious. Yes, I took a bite. Good size and well done, from the potatoes, and cheese from my bite I took, not sure on the ground beef(friend liked it tho) You have options with some selections(turkey, bacon, or more veggies) I especially like that they give you options, next time I would go for veggies only because l am better off eating less meat in my diet. I enjoyed the natural light fireplace environment, much more comfy than other places. I’d come back and try their Thai dish(no sweet chili sauce) or their BLTA. It’s best to come early otherwise you might be waiting but we came on a rainy day which proved great for getting a seat right away next to the fireplace!

Excellent food! Super staff! I had the Peanut Noodle Bowl with tofu and veggies(vegan version)… Fantastic! Perfect amount of spice, noodles were al dente, veggies were tender crisp. Split Citrus Salad with a friend. Also delicious! Will be back!

Why did it take us so long to come in here! We’ve been coming to the area for over 6 years now and just came in here a few months ago. Basically, their philosophy seems to be: start with top quality ingredients, respect and honor the ingredients, listen to what they want to do, and then do that very very well. I’ve had the steak sandwich(juicy, flavorful, yummy) and a salad special with huge, perfectly ripe figs, totally delicious. My hubby and one of our best friends rave about the Filipino breakfast bowl. The main room is also really calm and serene in its décor — honor the wood, and paint a complimentary color, a restful green. Great food in a beautiful room, with unpretentious service.

Places like this is the reason I LOVE Unilocal.I drove 10 miles out of my way to try this little café out. I was NOT disappointed. They are open Wednesday through Sunday 8 am to 3 pm. The atmosphere, décor, staff and not to mention the food was fantastic. Definitely a spot to stop. #SocialMediaIsAPowerfulThing

This place is waaaay far up north… Kind of in the middle of nowhere so not sure if I can come here again, but it was AMAZINGGG!!! My friends and I stopped by here for lunch while we were on our way to Mercer Caverns. OK. Mind you, I’ve only tried one thing at Magnolia Café and it was an off menu special… But it was the most flavorful dressing-free salad I’ve ever had in my life! It was the Shrimp and Fig Salad. This salad came with plump garlic shrimp, fresh figs, real bacon pieces, sweet raw white corn, and blue cheese crumbles on a bed of mixed greens. It was seriously the perfect combination of textures and flavors. Wowie zowies it was good! The ambience is really cute with a hipster vibe. The workers are all super chill and helpful. The café itself is pretty small, but they have outdoor and indoor seating.

Hands down one of the best brunch sandwich places. Fresh, local, farm-to-table produce and super tasty as well! Very nice homemade pita chips

The best thing I can say about our meal is that the quesadilla for kids was made with a very good, sharp cheddar. Which I liked but was too sharp for my 6-year-old. The fruit that came with the kids meal was orange slices WITHSEEDS. If you can’t bother to remove the seeds, then serve a seedless fruit to little kids! It is not fun for me to remove all those bits and pieces of seeds from every slice just so my kid could eat it. Other issues: the Asian burrito was mostly rice. Way too much rice. And unseasoned shredded carrot. The duck sauce it’s served with did not make this edible. On the plus side: the steak sandwich seemed to have quite a bit of meat in it. And husband enjoyed the citrus salad. The food took a long time to come out. After 2pm we thought we’d missed the lunch crowd. No crowd, but kitchen slow. Not worth the wait.
