Terrible and unprofessional service. My husband went to get his glasses here. big mistake. It was taking forever for his glasses to arrive and when they did, he was charged a lot more than agreed upon. He was told that it was because he had ordered the transition lenses which we had NOT, he had only asked for pricing.(He cannot use transitions at work) He asked that the glasses be taken back and asked to be reimbursed and charged only what was agreed upon. I then listen to a bizarre and unprofessional voice mail left by Bonnie to my husband-I am surprised and disappointing to hear she is the owner. It sounded like a scolding from a mom to a child. She went on saying how she went through all this trouble and time working with my husbands insurance and ended the voice mail by saying my husband was wrong. Absolutely unprofessional. I wont get into how their extra charge over drafted our bank account as it’s not about the money its about the service. I called Bonnie and left a message and when she called a few days later she left me a voice mail with a nasty attitude. Forget it, we will steer clear of this place and advise you to do the same.

I go to Paquette Opticians all the time. I always know that when I refer them they will take care of my friends and family. Bonnie, Vanessa and Pauline are sweethearts. They always great me with a smile and give great hugs. They really put a personal touch to their business. It is very rare to come across that now a days. Their prices are reasonable and they offer great service. What more can I say but they are the best!

When Bonnie tells you«I’m going to give you a really good deal because we are friends» that’s when to turn around and walk away. If they tell you they couldn’t get your insurance verified, walk away… because they are lying(I got the receipt from my insurance that it went through). They seem like good communicators but it’s what they are not telling you that counts. They have years of experience doing this to people-don’t be lured in by the cute frames and so called expertise. Make sure you know the numbers and the prices elsewhere. Get your contacts from 1800Contacts. Paid them $ 510 for a year of contacts-then they DID get the insurance payment also of $ 120. That’s $ 630 for contacts I could have paid $ 520 for on . I needed the contacts quickly so when insurance couldn’t be verified(which was a crock) I went ahead and paid the $ 510, hoping for reimbursement. They got the $ 120, I did not, and they argued on the phone with me, both Bonnie and her sister! Told me they had to put food on the table and keep the doors open, then hung up on me. Said they would mail me half the insurance payment just to «make me happy» $ 60 but never did. The worse customer service I have ever received in my life, truly. I did all this on the phone, no exam done, no fitting, should have been no hassle. They were a preferred provider. Will continue with a complaint to the insurance company so others with this plan don’t get duped. Beware… would have given zero stars if possible. Took twice as long to get to me also-so much for overnight service(7days) and 2 calls later.

Im sure the positive rating this optician(Bonnie) got was from a relative. I just dont see how she can keep the place in business with her attitude. I spent 3 minutes in the shop and had to walk out because she was so incredibly snooty.

We’ve been getting glasses here off and on for the past 8 years. The woman who runs the place is super friendly. And most importantly, has much better taste in frames than we do. So she picks em and we pick up the complements.
