Super 8 Mount Vernon

It is a simple Super 8 with good prices for a quick stay.
The staff was friendly and the rooms were basic and clean. My room was a «no smoking» but I walked into a stagnant air filled smoke tainted room. It seems that the previous occupants did NOT abide by the rules and removed the batteries from the smoke alarm.
Overall, I did not fuss about the mustiness of the room. I wish they would have used air freshener though and during checkout I reminded them that the battery was NOT in the smoke alarm.
If you are needing an affordable basic room while visiting Mount Vernon, this Super 8 will provide it.
Notes: They advertise «internet» but I never used it. Seems it is in the office. They also advertised breakfast, but essentially I only saw a waffle machine and some coffee. so I could not judge or review these amenities.
