Supercuts

I have been here twice and I’m done trying. They are rude, no personality when speaking to you. Both times I’ve gone with my son, and they tell me, «there are three people ahead of you.» Mind you, no one else is in the shop. We sit and wait patiently, then 15 min later they are like, «okay, I’ll just take you now.» I don’t get it. Also, the girls are like right out of school or something because they look so scared to cut hair and go over the same spot like 3 times. Just save your money and go somewhere else.

I like to give this place a –10 or a O this place is no good. I every one to now this place is no good.

Terrible experience. Scheduled an appointment the night before for root touch-​up. Came in the next day 15 minutes early for my appointment and they said I wasn’t in the schedule. And all the while they were giving me weird looks for it. Like… SORRY that one of your employees forgot to schedule me??? Then they kept asking me if I was getting a full color when I had already made it clear that I just needed my roots done. I didn’t really mind though and I was nice about it. However, yet another weird look. I told them I could come another day if it was easier for them. To which one of them gave the most half-​assed/​sarcastic «No, it’s fine» I have ever heard. WTF. I did not want these people touching my head for an hour so I left right then. It’s not that hard to be nice to people. At least fake it. Jesus. Never going there again.

If I could give as few or as many stars as I possibly desired, this place would have –5. I have been to multiple Supercuts locations and never had a bad experience. Obviously, when I moved out to this area, I found my local Supercuts and put trust in their employees. The first few times were great, just like my other experiences! But then in January 2014, one woman chopped the shit out of my hair. She styled it in an effort to make it better, but it just wasn’t what I wanted, nor what I asked for. I figured this was just a fluke and visited there a few more times (making sure I didn’t have that same employee) and again it was great. Then on August 12^th I came back. I had just gotten married and wanted to do something different with my hair, since I had been growing it out for the wedding. I showed this woman a picture of what I wanted and she said no problem. She washed my hair and we went back to the chair to get down to business. This woman literally butchered my hair. I wanted a «dramatic inverted bob with it still LONG in the front.» That is exactly what I told her when I showed her the picture depicting what I asked for. Nope. She chopped. And then kept chopping and chopping. So much that she had to shave my neck. My beautiful long hair was shredded so poorly that it couldn’t even be donated. She completely messed up the layers and when she was done ruining everything that I had dreamed of hair wise, she fought with me saying «that looks exactly like your picture!» If there weren’t small children waiting for their haircuts I would have really fought back, but instead I told her she was wrong, she ruined my hair and now there’s nothing I can do because she RUINED my hair. I walked out with my husband and really had wished he hadn’t prepaid for the abomination that was my haircut. I didn’t tip her and she doesn’t deserve any type of praise. I will never be returning again and can’t begin to tell you my severe disappointment.

Margaret is my go-​to haircutter supreme. I was fortunate to get her by sheer luck a year ago, and would never want anyone else to cut my hair.
As a bonus, she is warm and friendly… and the shop is well managed and pleasant. When you need a haircut every five weeks, and have short senior hair, you need a Margaret in your life!
