This place is so amazing!!! I HIGHLY recommend this place especially to families. They have a fun cornmaze, a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch, kitten barn, goats that you can feed and many other games, Apple orchard, and inside the shop there is homemade honey, syrup, caramel apples, and other items. This is a really great place!

This apple farm is really strange — you will barely see any apples on the ground, unlikely most other apple farms. Finally saw the owner picking up those semi rotten apples on the ground. Those must have gone into free tasting and cider.

This is a beautiful little farm on top of the hills between Mt. Horeb and Mt. Vernon. A perfect place in the fall to pick raspberries and apples and do a little agritourism. They have quite a selection of apples to pick, each at different times of the year so you need to check to see when your favorite variety is available for picking. Check their site for varieties and weekends you can get them. And you can bring out the kids and get pumpkins, head into the corn maze, try to hit targets with the apple slingshots, get some fresh pressed cider, check out the kid maze, see some goats and cats, just spend a fresh fall weekend with the family. This is perhaps the best farm like this the area has to offer.

Uffda this place is great!!! It is located near my parents’ house. We ran over«real quick» to grab some apples. And to my surprise, this place was great. We will definitely go back. I have been to many orchards and this place is a gem. The drive up the hill is picturesque. It is small, parking is close, and the trees are are short. There is a big play area, apple sling shot, and hayrides. Not to mention– apple frycakes and caramel apples. The staff was friendly and helpful. They take cash, check and have an ATM onsite. U-pick raspberries and apples. I think if we brought $ 40 we could all have a great time and leave with apples and raspberries.

APPLES! PUMPKINS! RASPBERRIES! CARAMELAPPLES! CIDER! CORNMAZE! ENORMOUSROTTENAPPLESLINGSHOT! WHATDO I DOOOFIRST!!! (Note: this might sound like the interior monologue of a confused puppy, but it is actually the interior monologue of me.) It’s hard to contain myself; there is SO much off the chizzain fall-y goodness for kids and adults alike at Sutters Ridge! U-pick apples are $ 1/pound, U-pick raspberries are $ 2.75/pint, they’ve got delicious baked goods, hot apple cider and caramel apples for sale. As Rowan said, they have an incredible kid’s area, animals, and lots of space to run around with little ones. The rotten apple sling shot is a ton of fun and kind of addictive! I’ll be practicing my shot for next year.

Here’s what you need to know: A. You need to go visit their farm B. You will never forget it and want to come back every year to pick berries or come for the pumpkin patch. C. If you like strawberries, pumpkins, rhubarb cakes, pies and jams you are in luck. If you get to drive down to their farm plan on staying for several hours. Check their website to see which fruit is in season to pick. Berries, apples, pumpkins and more. I am not sure who has more fun here, kids or the adults sampling and picking fruit. Pumpkin Patch is a decent size, fun maze, games, tractor rides, baked goods, tame goats and more, without it being jam packed(pun!) with people and over priced. This is manageable with little children. Their farmer’s market stand sells berries, apples, jams, breads, berry plants, pumpkins and more. Always friendly and helpful. Yummy.
