My experience was ridiculous. All I did was called the restaurant and for a cross street (Dempster and ?). All I got was a person that could’t answer a simple question and yelled across the room (w/​o) putting me on hold… Then I asked if the serve Lamp chops and again the same routine (yelling to someone (w/​o) putting me on hold. She yelled asking 3 separate times. She couldn’t get a straight answer to I said forget it and she had no problem getting off the phone, as if she had something more important anyway. If this is any indication how they run there restaurant, I will not be going there.

Just tried their Greek Gyros, cheeseburger and cheese fries. Loved everything, reasonable prices and friendly staff. Cheeseburger comparable to Portillo’s, but in some ways better because of the grilled onions. I will be back and definitely recommend this place to others.

Ordered delivery and they forgot our drink and extra sauce but whatever that’s fine… salad I ordered was really good but by night time I was in horrible agony from stomach pain. I was in bed for almost 4 days lost 5 pounds because I couldn’t eat. I will never order from here again.

That Philly cheesesteak was amazing. Lot of meat, perfect melted cheese, and flavorful bun. Just wonderful.

Yum!!! & totally price appropriate :) I got the All American Gyro plate and it comes with plenty of food. Great and quick service.

Have ordered from here a few times and each time the food has been fantastic. I’ve ordered the American gyro and the Greek gyro. Both exceptional and well prepared. I’ve had gyro from other places but their preparation is better. Less oil and heft.
I suggest trying their Greek gyro as the meat (pork) is tender and works well with the rest.
I order delivery without any issues.

Just left the gym and was looking to eat clean. They have salads and some amazing chicken dishes. Great place

Delicious Greek gyros and Greek village salad! They have American style gyros (lamb) but also have a spit roasted pork Greek style gyros (with fries inside of it?!), which had great flavor. I would highly recommend the Greek village salad (tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, feta) and then add some of the Greek pork on top of it… or grilled chicken for a balanced meal. Tzatziki was obviously homemade and delicious too. Thanks fellow Unilocalers for great reviews; I was not sure about this place based on the name and location (cheesy old fast food building) but would for sure order delivery from here!

Tried this spot for the first time this evening for a change of pace & we were pleasantly surprised for the value. Their food was very good and we will be ordering from them again.

I feel as if my mission in life is to try every gyros meat in the Northwest suburbs & Chicago, preferably the whole world but … babysteps. ;)
My boyfriend & I ordered an all American gyro plate (lamb & beef), homemade gyro plate (pork belly) & a piece of spanakopita. (spinach filo dough pie)
So keep in mind we ordered delivery so my review is based on my judgement of taste and quality, not the amount of time the food sat around in its box on its way here.
The American gyros is pretty good! Very bold flavor which I love, but was a bit borderline salty. They put the salad in the same box as the gyros so it was difficult to enjoy the steaming hot Greek salad (literally). Also they forgot the onions and tomato. (It’s just not the same without!!! ;()
The homemade gyros tasted similar to shaved pieces of roast pork belly, a little dry, but a drizzle of olive oil spruced it right back up.
The spanakopita in my opinion was «disguisting» which I hate to use this word but it really wasn’t my cup of tea, the strong spinach flavor was off putting & that hurts to say because I lovee spinach. My boyfriend said he liked it but he ended up eating only 10% of it.
Overall we were full, & the price was very affordable, 30 $ after tax and delivery, and leftovers.

Why have I never eaten here before? I was looking for some nearby Greek food on Unilocal and this place popped up with excellent reviews. the reviews are well deserved. We ordered the special of the day, Boneless Greek Pork Chops and the spanokopita. Both were excellent, the pork chops were well seasoned and tender. We both also has soup, one the Greek lemon chicken and the other the lentil soup, both soups were outstanding. this place is going on our list of regular places.

Today I ordered the philly cheese steak sandwich and I must say, they always get it right. It was delicious juicy and made the way that I wanted it to be made. The fries were crispy, they were very polite and very accommodating. You can’t go wrong ordering from them. You need a lunch delivered and you’re in the Skokie, Morton Grove, and Niles area this is the place to call, they’re very friendly and they remember who you are.

Great food, great service, large portions for the price.

Great food! Pick the right stuff and you could have a very healthy meal. Lots of options here. They do deliver. The combo meals are a great value, plenty of food. Looking forward to the next visit.

Did someone say this was Mr Zees? This is our favorite work lunch Greek place. Fast delivery, fresh food and fair prices. We love the egg lemon soup and salads. I’ve never seen Gyros shaved like they have prepared it but no complaints. Certainly worth the splurge.

Hands down best authentic Greek food in the Chicagoland area. Extraordinary food, comfortable atmosphere, and wonderful people. Oh, and their home made Greek gyro… forget about it
I’m a professional athlete and it’s always hard to find a healthy and reliable meal when I’m not at home. This guy Gus in the kitchen will whip you up a bare lemon chicken breasts, harvest salads, vegetable plates, etc… You call it, he cooks it… And it all tastes just how your momma makes it!

Holy cow what a meal and what a deal. House made gyro platter was made with pork and was fantastic. The chicken kabobs $ 8.95 with soup and two sides!!! Oh and btw the soup was amazing.
Those who will make the trek will be rewarded with a cooked to order meal served on chinaware and real silverware.
One more thing the house made baklava is a MUST GET!!! It’s some of the best I’ve ever had.

My wife and I workout @ LA Fitness across the street. They are always running ads on the television for «The Charcoal Flame Grill».
One night after a workout we went across the street to have dinner.
I ordered the Grecian chicken w/​Greek potatoes. It was delicious (5 stars plus). The chicken was grilled with crispy skin on the outside & perfectly seasoned and cooked chicken on the inside. The chicken meat was juicy and seasoned perfectly with olive oil, garlic, oregano, lemon juice, salt. This also came with Grecian potatoes that were to die for. I would order this dish again in a heart beat. My wife ordered a chicken wrap that was seasoned pretty good, but was a little dry for my taste.
Overall I would give «Charcoal Flame a good rating, but I need to try other dishes. It will be hard knowing the Grecian chicken is so good

I really love their avgolemono because it’s a pale yellow, full of rice and lemony chicken flavor, and filling at the same time.
They also make a mean pita sandwich!
I will be back soon again! Very convenient that they’re on Grubhub so you can pay online and pick up super quick or ask for delivery.
The parking is a little tight and you have to Uturn to go back out the way you came in. One star less than five for that reason.

Probably the best Greek food I’ve ever had. I had the chicken and kefta kebab dinner which came with rice, greek potatoes, and a house salad. The chicken was juicy and bursting with flavor. The potatoes were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. The only thing I’d add to the mix to give it 5 stars would be a touch of hot sauce.
Overall, I loved the flavor, prices were great and the staff seemed really nice and friendly.
