Morrisville Pharmacy and Compounding

This pharmacy is a joke and total waste of time.
They told me that my prescription wasn’t covered by the insurance and told me to pay before they fill. I thought it was kind of odd. I never had a problem filling it at Riteaid by my old house. So I decided to call my insurance company up to see what the problem is and they told me that it was covered.

Incompetent and border-​line fraudulent doesn’t even begin to describe our first and only experience with this pharmacy. We were told that our prescription was «not covered» by our insurance. After calling our insurance, it turns out that it was covered, however the pharmacy did not like the reimbursement amount offered by the insurance. So the pharmacist outright lied to me when in fact it was simply a matter of greed on their part.
Also, the prescription did not come with the correct refrigeration instructions. Had I not known to keep it in the fridge, it would have probably expired.
Avoid this place at all cost.

This little store is at the very corner end of the Morrisville Marketplace shopping center along Davis Drive. It’s not a large store, and that may attract those that do not like the big chain stores like CVS or Walgreens. I think that is the market this pharmacy is wanting to channel in on, with more of a «corner store» type of feel.
It has most of your core needs for a pharmacy. It looks like it does not always carry a large stock on the shelves, in fact, there is very little separation between sections and groups along the one wall of shelves on the left as you go in. It is no frills type of shelving display, but this look should not say low quality as they carry many of the brand name items you find at any other pharmacy. If you are looking for more selection and larger quantity in stock, you may favor the chains however. They have the basics and are competitive in price.
This store is a good basic pharmacy, smaller in size but has the basics you would tend to go to your neighborhood drug store for.
