Jersey Mike’s Subs

I’m writing this review based on my experience at the Moreno valley Jersey Mike’s. Christin gave exceptional customer service. Customer service here is top notch. I got a cold veggie sub and it was delicious. The vinaigrette is amazing. 5 stars!!!

What else can I say besides clean location, excellent sandwiches, and friendly staff. My favorite is the Club Sub (#8), done Mike’s way of course!
Yes, the sandwiches are a little more expensive then Subway, but they are worth every penny!

First time here. Was a lil expensive but was really good and fresh. Got a veggie sub and was surprised by how much cheese they put on it.

We love eating at Jersey Mikes. This was our first time at this location near the mall in Moreno Valley. We went back and forth whether to eat there or at Chipotle, which is next door.
There were three employees working. One was in the back, one was at the grill and the other was making cold sandwiches. There was one person in front of us paying and leaving when we entered. We waited an extended amount of time for him to get started on our sandwiches. Two additional couples came in. Instead of making our sandwich and get us moving out of there, he made us wait while he did the bread/​meat/​cheese of all the others in line as well.
I can go on and on, but lousy and slow service is all I’ll further say. They need to get it together and more importantly, get friendlier and smile at least. That is one unhappy group of people in there.
We should’ve eaten at Chipotle…

They were playing old school Snoop Dogg which I am cool with but don’t this it is proper for a family sandwich shop. One of the employees literally picked meat off my sandwich while it was being prepared and ate it. Then he was coughing all over the place and hocking loogies. It was so gross. At least my dog enjoyed the sandwiches when I brought them home. I will never be back. I feel like throwing up just thinking about it.

I love these subs. Will go there then subway any day. In so happy I have one close by

The crew here is great! They always recognize me when I walk in, and know exactly what I want. Quick in and Quick out with a great sandwich! Be sure to ask for extra CPR (chili pepper relish)!

The only reason I am giving a 1 star for this latest review is because had I not made a comment to my mom the other day when we were getting a sandwich the person making the sandwich would not have even noticed that the cheese was moldy.
I don’t even know why this was the case since I have never had them give me cheese that wasn’t sliced right then and there for it anyways. Either way I shouldn’t have to call out nasty moldy cheese before my sandwich is going to be made and not have them apologize for it, I’m not asking for something free but as least say «hey Im sorry I didn’t noticed that».
Maybe I will try again when I am in town again.

The closing crew was awesome tonight! We Showed up right when they were closing the doors and they took us in to make two wraps for us. Didn’t feel rushed at all. Thanks again!

I love Jersey Mikes! The sandwiches are so yummy! Yes, they are more than subway but what you get is far better! This is the only chain sandwich place I like.

Always courteous! !!! We passed 5 subways to come here. Well worth it. Manager special is always a good deal. 2 drinks 2 chips large sub 15 bucks. Not too shabby. Always fresh too. Love it

Jersey Mike’s was a go-​to when I was in college. Hands down favorite place to get a Philly Cheese Steak. This location was a disappointment in service. I felt like a nuisance. As if I was a chore to make a sub. Are you kidding me? Management needs to pay attention to whats going on at this location.
Cashier especially.

Very tasty sandwiches. We get the Managers Special with a #13. The food is fresh, good and quick.
Why only three stars? The place was dirty! On this last trip, there were two rolls just sitting between the glass divider and the server. I thought it was strange, but then when I saw the employee make the persons sandwich behind me, she cut the bread in half and tossed the unused half in a pile with the others.
The slicer is full of bits of meat that could very easily be wiped at least every couple of sandwiches. The amount of debris on the «catch» was certainly an all day endeavor.
Moving on to the veggies, they too look like the had been neglected all day. bits and pieces everywhere!
And then these’s the floor behind the counter… oh my. enough food on it to make another couple of sandwiches! Really, really, bad.
So, yes the food is good, but if you are the slightest bit worried about bacteria on meat not refrigerated in close proximity to your sandwich being made, avoid.

Really Really good sandwiches. I’ve had them all. I believe it’s the fresh ingredients and vinegar and oil dressing that makes the sandwich. The bread is perfect. It is fresh baked everyday. As for the One star missing for the cost. I love this place but kind of pricey. I agree better than subway or quiznos. For the family, I usually order to giant subs and get the manager special (drink and chips) for 15.99 +tax for each sandwich. Total cost $ 32 bucks. It easily feeds a family of 4 adults.
At lunch and dinner times it does get busy expect to wait about 15 — 20 minutes to order.
I’ll eat a sandwich once a week here.

I was enjoying my sandwich immensely and at the end found this long pube type hair hanging onto the meat that was sticking out. Very disgusted. Sad I had to give one star considering I did the online ordering which was super convenient and my sandwich was exactly how I ordered it but with a side of nastiness!

Great place. Love the sandwiches. Always good service. HOWEVER! !!!
I choose to cater here. I choose this place OUT OF EVERY OTHER PLACE THAT CATERS in this county. I place my order ONE WEEK IN ADVANCE. But yet when I come in to get it, they disappoint me with the fact that they forgot my order! This isn’t cool. This isn’t nice. What do you get paid for? What did I pay you for? Luckily, I kept calm & simply asked for add ons for the BIG inconvenience.
Unreliable. I suggest if you cater here, call them up that morning!

Regardless, their sandwiches are great. Their employees are nice. My situation, simply could have been avoided :)

PAPER IN MY SANDWICH
My husband and I went approx noon today. It was not a long line when our order was taken. This was our 1^st time, so a worker came from behind the counter to help my husband. His sandwich was okay.
I chose the steak and onions, no peppers. A worker wrapped it and sat it down near the register, I had no option to put anything else on it. So I asked for ketchup. no ketchup. I was given a side of mustard.
Lots of cheese, lot of bread, and could not taste the meat. While chewing I hurt my tooth. There was a, ¼″ folded piece of wrapper in my sandwich.
I appreciate them refunding me the cost of my sandwich, although I had offered to pay for the ½ I had eaten.
I didn’t hear any apologies. Everyone standing at the registered was recognized immediately and helped. I stood waiting through approx 3 – 4 people being rang up before I was recognized. After telling the work what happened she said, «Oh that was probably the paper they wrap the sandwiches in» I literally had to repeat myself and tell her the paper was in my sandwich and I want a refund of ½ the cost (since I didn’t finish the sandwich), oh… it hurt when I bit it.
I really don’t know how much paper I ate yawl. The customer service was poor, and since my steak sandwich was wrapped in foil and I can’t fathom how paper would get mixed in the steak and cheese, I will not be going back.
Two stars because my husbands sandwich was okay.

Well… I think I may have just eaten the BEST SUB I’ve ever had! I’ll have to really think on that… but I think so.
Back in th 70’s, K-​Mart used to have a Snack Shop & Icee & Candy Counter center store. As a kid I was fascinated by these magic marvels.
One thing they used to sell a lot of was subs – in fact, I think THAT was my first memory of the word ‘submarine’ referring to a sandwich. They were pre-​made, plastic-​wrapped, and stacked into ‘sandwich pyramids’ atop the counters, around the store, to grab’n go.
How they got around the lack of refrigeration I’ll never know. but. nobody cared. we ate’em by the ‘boat load’ and they were great. NOT! Cheap soggy spongey bread, slick’n slimey meats, wilted shredded letuce, and mushy cheese ‘n pickles. But we still ate them. cause they were magic. and nobody knew any different. way back then.
…and 20 years later… Subway.
…and 20 years later… JERSEY MIKE’S! Hurrrray!
Boy, has the commen man’s sub soared to new heights! I got the regular SUPER SUB, freshly prepared ‘Mike’s Way’ to go. I think it must be better because quality meats are freshly carved and constructed before your eyes! A generous dose of Mike’s magic sprinkle dust’n stuff is added. but the BEST thing of all is their super authentic totally awesome east coast style fresh baked BREAD! Holy smokes, this bread rocks, complete with those little crunchy baker’s corn meal type crustys!
I LOVED every bite and loathed it’s finish – I can’t get it out of my mind. And, I must agree with everyone else. I’m NEVER going back to SUBWAY! .or K-​Mart obviously. because the REAL MAGIC is watching Jersey Mike’s SUB quickly DISSAPPEAR beneath my eyes!

So I came in today after the gym and I guess this is a rather new location? Hella crowded but that didn’t bother me much. The guy taking my order let me substitute provolone with Swiss on my sandwich so that was a definite plus (what can I say, I’m easy to please) I told him I wanted the mini size, but it was kinda noisy in there so he misheard me and gave me regular, wasn’t even mad though. I was hungry and it’s only 2 $ extra so it’s all good. My sandwich was delicious as always, even more so with my favorite cheese XD
One thing I noticed about this location is that unlike the Elsinore location there is more seating and it’s much cleaner so bonus points to them on that :)
Also, you have a choice between white and wheat bread, don’t remember having a choice at the Elsinore or Murrieta location.
I will definitely be back! I love that it’s close to my gym :)
