Food is great, but check your takeout order before you leave. They staple the bags shut and we did not get any of our lemon sauce(for the lemon chicken) or sweet and sour for egg rolls. They should staple when you pickup and not before. Also, we waited in line for a few minutes. An Asian father in son walked in behind us. They were seated while our food sat in the counter. Rude if nothing else.

Jasmine is by far the best Chinese restaurant in Monument. My husband and I always order take out from them, we haven’t ever eaten inside so I can’t vouch for the atmosphere of the restaurant. We moved to Monument from Castle Rock about a year and a half ago and have tried all the Chinese places here in town. We favor Jasmine over all the others combined. We live about 10 minutes from the restaurant and our meals are always piping hot when we get home. Never had a problem with temperature. Some of the few dishes we favor are; Sesame Chicken, General Taos Chicken, Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef & Chicken Fried Rice. We have tried many more but those are our go to meals. The chicken in the sesame, general taos & orange chicken are always nicely battered and come with plenty of sauce. Which I personally love. The meals themselves are very generous portions, one dinner feeds me for at least 3 separate meals. If you order your meal with the«dinner special» it comes with white, brown or fried rice. All are yummy & decent portions, your choice of soup, an egg roll, crab cheese wonton & fried shrimp. It’s an unbelievable amount of food in my opinion. The staff have always been polite and the food is always ready fast. The max we have ever been told for wait time is 15 mins, it was done in 10 tho. They allow you to customize your dishes to your preference too. Which I always think is nice so that you know it’s freshly made just for you. We always order our dishes extra spicy, and our fried rice without bean sprouts. They have always been extremely accommodating if you just ask. All in all, I like Jasmine & will continue to order from here.

I want to first off say that I got take out and I feel that can take away from the true flavor, especially the soup. Also I didn’t feel that the staff at the front was overly friendly. But there were pros and cons of what I ordered and everything put together is why I gave them 3 stars. I ordered the lunch menu sesame beef. This came with steamed rice and choice of soup and spring roll. As a whole I wasn’t disappointed or ecstatic. I feel that it’s just your normal Chinese restaurant. With that being said, I did have some good pieces and take aways and I will go back. The sesame beef was good-not great-the sauce was a little much but overall I liked it. The steamed rice was done well(hard to not do well). Next time I’ll try the fried rice. The soup wasn’t anything special, it may have been because I got it to go. I got the hot and sour soup-I liked it but it wasn’t the best I’ve had. What I really liked and I will say they did these very well are the spring rolls. They are lightly fried and the meat is finely chopped with fresh veggies. Once again I will continue to go here and I will probably get something better than what I had but I stand by my review.

Hands down one of the best family owned Chinese restraunts in the metro area. Sadly the dark windows make the place look closed even when open. Portions are large and always good, if not tell them and they will fix. Lunch menu is a bargain. We go often 3 – 4 times per month. Many local folks do carry out so even though dinning room not full the kitchen is extremely busy. Staff friendly but not overly outgoing. Ask for crispy noodles with your soup for a $ 1.00 more and you will enjoy! Cheese Wantons(8) are a treat too. Sadly they charge $ 1.89 for a pot of tea that others include.

This is a 4 stars for the Colorado Springs area, which maybe would be a 3 stars in some other places. We ordered take out and enjoyed our meal. The food was all good, though not great. We had a wide variety of dishes and couldn’t complain much about any of them. The packaging of food for carryout was quite good. This may not seem like much, but it is something that I really appreciated. Often, the carry out packaging is such that it is falling over in the car, spilling, and making a mess. This was very well organized and tightly packaged, making it easy to carry and unlikely to make a mess. It also helped keep the food warm on the 10-minute drive home because it was all packaged snuggly together. There are not many good Chinese places in the Springs area, so this one stood out as better than most.

Food is good but service is horrible. Servers are so rude. We feel rushed EVERY time. They hover, huff when you ask for things, and take your dishes as you’re literally still eating from it. We always feel like unwelcome.

VERYFASTDINEINSERVICE! Food was excellent. They get four stars instead of 5 because my wife found egg shells in our fried rice.

First visit based on Unilocal.Ordered take out — ready in 10 minutes. Awesome since I can’t even drive there that fast. Special for soup and appetizer with entrée. Ok I’ll take it Ordered my standard hot and sour soup plus egg roll some kind of cheese wonton thing and a shrimp. Appetizer was totally unremarkable. Soup was ok nothing special. On to the entrée. Kung pao chicken. Generous portion but outside of the occasional red pepper totally bland. All in all a forgettable dining experience. Try Iveys on Voyager instead.

We decided to split a dish for dinner and the waitress had an immediate attitude. We’re both thin and it was a hot day, so a split meal would work perfect. We ordered the Shrimp with Broccoli. The food came out in good fashion but the broccoli was undercooked and I was looking for a knife, the waitress NEVER came back. Our water was empty and we never got a refill. The ONLY time anyone noticed us is when I left the proper amount of what the food cost with tax and got up to leave. Only when they thought we were leaving without paying, did anyone ever say a word to us. Ok food. Terrible service.

Recently moved here from Las Vegas, it’s been difficult finding food places to compare to. I think we’ve found a Chinese place we can go to on a regular. Enjoyed it here a lot :)

Jasmine Garden is a thin slice above the places with pictures of the food posted above the counter, but not by much. The Chinese dishes were ok — nothing subtle or interesting in the flavors, and nothing distinguished in the presentation. We had Shrimp in Garlic Sauce and Twice Cooked pork. Sticky sauces that were overly sweet. The Thai dish — Panang Shrimp was poorly executed. Ready made curries from the supermarket would have better. Very little flavor of coconut milk, and very sweet, but not with Palm sugar. No fish sauce taste to be found. Worth it? If you are in front of the place and hungry, go in. A destination spot? Definitely not.

Pretty solid choice in the area. I prefer to go for lunch when the prices are much better. Not quite as good as Columbine Gardens… But you won’t be disappointed.

Pretty good, not the best, but good when you crave Chinese and don’t want to travel to a better restaurant.

I have been coming here for many years, but first time I thought to post. Frankly, most Chinese restaurants seem about the same to me. The portions are large and the flavors are good. The menu choices are the same as elsewhere. On the plus side… The food is good and the prices are very reasonable. The lunch specials are a bargain! For an extra $ 2.50 you can get appetizers with the entrée that include a fried shrimp, egg roll, cheese wonton, and a cup of soup. All the meals are good and they are very good at special requests. Always enough to take home leftovers. Down side. No American Express. The menu lists only the name of the dish — nothing to describe it or any list of ingredients. We will most definitely return. Love the hot & sour soup, and the combo fried rice.

Food was okay. Takeout was quick but portions are smaller than a lot of places… four entrees did not feed the seven adults in our party but with other Chinese places in the area that’s normally more than plenty. Open on Sunday which is a huge plus for the area.

Just isn’t the same since Eddie left he was always super nice and attentive remembered our names and now there’s a couple of girls that work there who speak back and forth in Chinese or Asian really rude like they’re talking about you they don’t smile they aren’t friendly they behave hostel I’m always afraid they’re going to spit in my food because of the way that they act things have really changed since that he left come back at you with the joy and the delight of that place and since you left it just hasn’t been the same

Like others have said, Jasmine Garden is pretty decent food for the Tri-Lakes area. There was a waiter there(Eddie I think) who was extremely attentive. I mean like a loyal hunting dog attentive. If your water glass dropped below half he was immediately on it. The vibe changed a little after that. Almost like a milder version of the soup guy in Seinfeld, in a funny, sweet sort of way. We still go there but not quite as often. Maybe just over did it at first. They do seem open to «customizing» a dish if necessary which is nice. Overall, you could do much worse and for this area, it’s generally a pretty good experience.

Absolutely delicious sesame chicken, wontons, and fried rice. I can’t recommend the Pad Thai though, so if I get a chance to return I’ll stick with their extensive Chinese entrees instead of attempting Thai ones.

We love this place. A very solid four, or a «Monument-five,» given the dearth of decent restaurants in town. Clean, friendly, and fast, Jasmine is our go-to restaurant when we want good Chinese at a decent price with steadfast quality and great customer service. Overall, the food is consistently a 8 on a scale of 10, which is outstanding for this area; other similar local restaurants average 6 – 7. I truly enjoy the Combination Egg Foo Yung; my girls love the lemon shrimp and mango chicken. Lunch is the best deal with combination plates in the $ 6-$ 7 range. The manager and the waitstaff are always attentive and friendly, and remember us whenever we visit. Food: 8 of 10 Serving size: 9 of 10 Service: 9 of 10 Consistency: 10 of 10 Also, Jasmine is great for take-out — something we do at least monthly.
