Pier 1 Imports

We have shopped here numerous times and taken the store by storm. My friend is building a new events business and has been gathering necessary décor supplies. We have filled her huge mega SUV more than once from this store. Furniture to plates to miscellaneous. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Only wish that they would help move purchases from store to car more willingly.

Let’s just say do not go there!!! Management is rude!!! Last night my mom and myself went there we pulled into the parking lot at 5 of 9. (I was not sure what time they closed) I was like ok mom we have 5 minutes so let’s just quick go in and ask if they have vanity chairs. I got out of the car and walked towards the door. The manager quick walked to the door and tried to lock it. I already had a hold of the door handle. She opened the door and said we close in two minutes. I said you close in 4 minutes I had my phone in my hand and showed her the time read 8:56. She rolled her eyes and responded you have two! I was like ok I just wanted to see if you have chairs. She responded with we have lots of chairs! My mother said do you have vanity chairs she said no. Well I now know that is a lie cause they do on their website. They can now count on that they will never get my business in the store or online! As someone who works in retail I would never ever recommend this store to anyone!!! Oh yea and as I walked out she locked the door at 2 minutes of nine. So if you ever do go there I guess they can close at whatever time they please!

Not really sure how to put this… But I’ll try to explain best as I can.
So, I came here so many times to find things and either saw that they had them, but they were too over-​priced, or they just didn’t have anything. First time I came here I was looking for a vanity. It took them awhile to find what I was looking for because they were looking in book because they didn’t have it in store. After we found something we liked, they told my mom the price of the vanity. My mom was iffy on it and she said she would have to think about it for a few minutes. The lady nodded as she left and to give my mom some time to think. She left the book with us as my mom stared at it thinking, but she noticed that the price she gave her was ONLY for the table. The mirror and the chair were both separate prices. To my mom’s surprise of my much they wanted for a vanity that wasn’t even REAL WOOD, we left saying my mom decided not to go through with the offer.
Then, just sometime in the end of October, I was redesigning my room and a lot of people suggested Pier One Imports had a lot of decorations for your room. So, when I went in, the whole place was just Christmas decorations. Everything was Christmas… There were only few things that weren’t Christmas which was a nightstand we found, but we didn’t want that. We also found pillows, but even the pillows were mostly just red and white. We continued to search and we only found paintings that weren’t anything I was looking for. There was also kitchen things, but I didn’t find anything in that area either. Even when I was looking at things that I didn’t want, I noticed how expensive everything was…
I give this place a 3 star because the service and people who work there is friendly. This place never exceeded anything I was looking for, even though this was a decoration place, it was based on the seasons… I just remembered there was a lot of room decorations that I would of liked in the Summer time a year ago. So, if your looking for things celebrating a season such as Fall with Halloween things, pumpkins, etc. and Christmas things with mini Santa Clause statues, bell decorations and lights, this is a good place to go…
