My fiancé’ wanted to get into biking so I took her here because of pleasant experiences in the past. Donna helped her pick out a good starter bike. Good customer service and an all around friendly environment. They are extremely pleasant.

I purchased a bike on line just so my wife can start riding, it was a low end bike and I took it over to Donna and Alan to work on the brakes and do a once over. I had an emergency in Florida with my mother that took me away for a couple of months, I returned to find out that ALANANDDONNASOLDMYBIKE!!! On the receipt it clearly states that I would be charged a storage fee but nothing close to stating that my bike would be in jeopardy of being SOLD! I asked Alan to man up and simply take care of this and make it right, he said I will give you $ 25.00 off of a 400.00 bike! AREYOUSERIOUSNEVEREVERHAVE I BEENSOHUMILIATEDINMYLIFE. I came in to replace a tire tube. First replacement was cheap($ 12 for part and labor, considering part usually runs $ 8 – 10 that’s not bad) and quick. Unfortunately the tube blew out again on my way home. I brought it back and Donna took a really thorough look at it to make sure there was nothing in the tread and that the tape was still good and replaced it for free no questions asked. Knowing the way that particular tire is its not surprising it took 2 tube replacements to fix it so I’m pretty pleased with the results and the store’s attitude toward the whole thing. Like night and day from Performance Bike where I bought that bike originally. i can only imagine the grief they would have given me for something like this. I will definitely be returning to Bike Line and using it as my main bike shop!

In the past I have purchased two bikes from them with no problems. The other day I go into the store to start looking at a new bike for myself. I was told the model I was looking for would be in stock in a few days. I come back in a few days, they have the model but it is way to big. I ask if i can just test ride it around the parking lot to get somewhat of a feel… knowing its the wrong size. I am told«NO» you can’t ride it. I then ask if they are going to be getting in any smaller sizes. The answer I got was not unless you are going to commit to purchase it. I really try to support local bike shops, but this is why people are using the internet to get what they want. Me and my family wont be going back to this store. They lost a good customer. Making you commit to purchasing a new bike with out even test riding it is beyond nuts. Oh well lots of other bike stores in the area.

Awful service. Alan is simply rude. He’s just interested in making a sale and after that you are pretty much on your own. Bikes are not assembled properly/poorly and any problem that you incur as a result becomes your problem. Too bad because Donna tends to be more customer service oriented but not by much. There are other bike stores in the area that offer the same bikes with much better customer service. Save your money and go elsewhere.

I just ordered my new Trek 2.3 from Alan and Donna. Love them! They are helpful, friendly and most importantly, know their products.

Still love Bikeline, took my Dad’s bike there because of a flat and they had it fixed in minutes. They have never tried to con me into spending more than I needed and have always been completely honest. The world needs more sales people like here.

I have dealt with Alan and Donna for the last 20 years and they are the nicest, most knowledgeable folks around. Trek and other major brands. They used to own a place in Doylestown called Bike Tech on Oakland Ave. and then the Bike Line in Doylestown(location now occupied by High Road Cycles). Unless you need a $ 10k ride, this is the place to go!

This bicycle shop has a nice selection of mid level bikes. Perfect for the novice. I walked in looking for exactly what I knew I needed. I perused briefly and overheard the owner of the shop talk to someone about their old rusty bikes. The guy looks like a chubby John Tuturro and was saying that the owner was trying to rip him off by refusing to do service on the bikes and telling him that those bikes are unsafe and he should invest in something if hes going to ride it more than a few miles. I found my socks and energy gels and the socks were on SALE! Great shop and had just what I need. When I know I need something quick, I’ll go here.
