I had the trio seafood soft tacos combo. It was salmon, shrimp and cod maybe… I loved it! It was served with black beans and rice. Avocado slices were included in the shrimp and salmon as well as a side of tortilla chips. Very filling for around $ 12.

Good is ok. Place was really dirty. Especially the salsa bar. Used to be a lot busier and cleaner.

So I write this at 4:35 am after dealing with a few hours of a rough bout of food poisoning. I visited this location around 3pm yesterday. I don’t live near this location, but stopped by for late lunch. I have been to Baja Fresh before, but in a different state. I was starving, so I decided to try it instead of Chipotle. I ignored many warning signs against my better judgement. Empty restaurant(ok it’s 3pm way past lunch rush), inside it was a little run down, very dirty dining room with employees sitting down(unacceptable for a chain that is going against Chipotle and just bad practice). I went to bathroom to wash my hands and the handles were dirty covered in salsa. I peeped the dish washing station(directly behind restroom area), and it was a disaster. I should of left, oh man I should of left… but ate my burrito monstrosity. I definitely ordered wrong, it was a nacho burrito(yuck), imagine a burrito with literally 1⁄3 of it being canned jalapeños. I picked them off, ate the burrito and bounced(I was pretty skeeved out at this point.) I felt awful for several hours afterwards. I missed dinner because it was a pretty late lunch and I was feeling sick. The past few hours for me have been hell(any who has had food poisoning knows exactly what I mean)!!! Dirty establishment, poor hygiene and poor food handling practices = food poisoning. It’s my bad honestly, I saw all the warnings. The owner of this establishment/franchise should be ashamed. I haven’t looked at the public record of their health inspections(little too busy with food poisoning and writing this review to warn people), but I’m positive they would reflect negatively on this location’s food handling practices. This location feels destined to close soon with this overall carelessness for public safety and cleanliness.

I come here all the time and although my last review was positive this one is negative. The soda tap was messed up so all you got was water. The caps of the soda cups were dirty and I asked for a burrito and asked for just pinto beans not black they didn’t put any so my burrito was rice. I typically give the benefit of the doubt but even the service has gone down. Will try one more time to see if they’ve improved.

Love going here but stopped by for lunch today and is «closed until further notice will reopen as soon as possible»?

The food is good and the salsa bar choices are nice but they are stingy on what they put in your Baja bowls or burritos. I order the Nacho burrito every time and I always tell them that I can never taste the queso but they never fix it. The burrito is very DRY which means they put a small drop of queso and no salsa. I’ve been going to Baja Fresh for 15 years and the quality hasn’t been maintained. They staff at this location used to be more generous or even fair with the quantity but management seems to have changed. But they do still have the best napkins at any fast food place :-)

I love this place!!! Dang they really turned themselves around as a business — once a jank, ambiguously Mexican restaurant, Baja Fresh is now super trendy, delicious, and actually fresh! Yay for them! I definitely recommend stopping by one of their locations and giving them a chance. They spruced up their menu and now offer many unique options — all of which are super healthy and come in HUGE portions for CHEAP. I recommend the salads and the burritos enchilada style(omg so good). I repeat, the portions are HUGE. Like 2x the size of Chipotle and still cheaper! The besttt part of your Baja experience will be the salsa bar. So many options! A variety of spice level and unique options like mango salsa and adobo sauce mix in with the norm tomato based salsas. They also have jalapeño and yellow peppers. It’s almost never super full at this location so it’s easy to get your food. It’s also veryyy clean. I wish they’d get rid of the hideous black and white tiling and maybe just all-around redecorate lol but whatevs, 5 stars!

I placed an online order for fried fish tacos and chicken fajitas. When I opened my order at first the fish tacos where grilled, not really a big deal to me they where still ok. My fajitas on the other hand where completely vacant of chicken. I calmed just to kind of give them a heads up and let them know that my order was wrong because I had no time to go back, well then it gets good because they started passing me around the restaurant and then ultimately blamed it on me. I wasn’t yelling, I wasn’t even asking for anything. I only wanted to let them know that they messed up my order. I have an email confirmation on the order I placed so I know it wasn’t my fault. so I plan on taking my business elsewhere.

I got shrimp tacos, Baja style. Didn’t enjoy it portion was small and un appetizing for the price. I personally prefer Chipotle which is right up the street.

It gets the job done when I am craving Mexican. It’s actually quite authentic for«Baja» style. Burritos, tacos, quesadillas — all just fine here. This is the only Mexican restaurant in PA that also exists in Southern California… so that tells you something at least.

We came in late(8:30pm) and though this location closes at 9, we were welcomed by an enthusiastic staff. A number of nearby establishments say they’re open until 9pm, but lock their doors for dining by 8:30, so we were a little worried dropping in so close to closing. Our food was fresh, made on the spot, and really tasty. We got a burrito, chicken tortilla soup, and two of their new soft shell tacos with beans and rice. Everything was really good and upped my impression of this Mexican food chain! The store is clean and even the self-serve salsa station was tidy. Big bonus points in my book!

I absolutely love Baja Fresh!!! Every bite is a reminder of my youth in California. The quality of the meat and simplicity of the Baja burrito creates the quintessential burrito in my opinion. When stumbling upon this location here in PA, I was concerned it would be a poor representation. But it wasn’t!!! Was just as good as I remember!

I’m very much a big fan of Baja Fresh. I wish there was one closer to my house. I’ve frequented many times. The burritos are amazing and the churros are even better. The guacamole is pretty good as well. It’s always clean and the service is always very nice. I also like the salsa bar. One of my favorite fast sit and eat places

This is on par with Moe’s. It’ll do in a pinch. The service was great and the food was huge. I’d definitely go again when I’m looking for a quick meal on the road!

I lovvvved Baja Fresh when I was in L.A. This one was dirty and they told me that the mango salads was thawing right below the sign that said no freezers! WTF? Get your game up!

Second visit to this location. Why did I subject myself to this? Well, somehow I thought it wouldn’t be so bad this time. Service and food were still good but the restaurant itself had not improved. This time, there was some kind of foul odor somewhere in the dining area. Then I saw one of the staff using a floor broom, after sweeping the floor, to dust the seats. This is not as bad as what I saw on my previous visit, when they used the toilet plunger to fix the salsa bar, but if they’re taking shortcuts like this, I can’t imagine what atrocities they commit back in the kitchen.
