This kids hair salon impressed me from the time we came in the door to when we left. The facility is somewhat cluttered with kids toys, objects, etc. but it’s very roomy with lots of couches and seats for the parents along the wall opposite where the kids get their hair cut. The staff is not only friendly, they are VERY good at what they do. We saw a little boy(probably about 2 or 3 years old) who was fussing when he first went in the chair, and the staff(all of them who weren’t involved in cutting hair at the time) took their time to cheer him up and relax him so eventually he made his way back into the chair and sat still and quiet for his haircut. That was when I resolved to leave this review, usually I would expect any staff involved in catering to little kids to just sort of half-heartedly make an attempt to soothe or coax a child but these girls were wonderful! My 6-year old came in for a hair cut(this was our first time here). Immediately one of the staff walked over to say hello and see what service we wanted. She got to pick which chair she wanted to sit in(a motorcycle… I’m doomed!) and they put on a video of her choice to watch. The stylist took her time and made sure we got exactly the cut we wanted. Other staff members talked with us as we watched, they all seemed pretty happy to work there. After the cut was finished she got to pick tiny hair clips from a bag, which was a cute touch. The best part was the price, $ 13 for a basic cut is not much to ask for, especially when Roller Coaster Cuts in the King of Prussia mall charged $ 30! They also do mani-pedi and adult haircuts as well. They are also connected with Glamalicious in the same building, which does girls make-over parties. Overall I was extremely pleased with Superstarz and I fully intend to keep going to them for my daughter’s haircuts.
