Pretty good French bread. Wife likes the #3 chicken. Me? Depends on what I’m feeling like, but usually here it’s the BBQ pork. I think the croissant sandwiches are a bit over-priced; I’d stick with the French bread ones. CC minimum is $ 10. Two Asian sandwiches will probably be less than that, so you may want to get a soda or their iced coffee to put you over if you’re out of cash.

Love Mr. baguette. They have great banh mi sandwiches and tasty clam chowder. Don’t forget to get the Vietnamese coffee, careful it’s strong. Always stop here when I am in MPK. If I am full from eating other delicious asian food, I just save it for the next day. Alice is always efficient and quick with my order.

Uyen was our cashier the first time we went and was nice. Sandwiches are cheap and more importantly delicious, and keep pretty well if you wanna buy 5 of them and eat them over the course of a few days.

Bread is too hard. The meat is alright but it is still a bit burnt. One of the old asian ladies there has the worse attitudes. She wouldnt offer me extra napkins.

I remember my wife and I always come to Mr Baguette’s for their sandwiches, Banh Mi, meat pies and croissant and their baguette. Now its a shadow of itself that it use to be popular but now that Lee’s and other places are surpassing Mr. Baguette’s. We enjoy their sandwiches with the freshly baked baguette that’s add a crunch to every bite.

I dropped by here thinking it was a Paris Baguette, but quickly discovered its a knock off of Lee’s Sandwiches. This location is on Atlantic, South of Garvey in Monterey Park. I ordered #14($ 3.99 | pâté egg sandwich). First of all, the bread was warm which is a nice thing. Mr. Baguette’s bread is better vs Lee’s in that regard. However, there wasn’t much pâté, and the eggs looked microwaved like the ones that Subway serves for breakfast. What do you expect for $ 3.99, or perhaps I should have ordered the Saigon Bacon: 3 Stars. The ambiance is OK. You order at the front, There is a case as you walk to the rear to pick up your order. Nonetheless, it would better if the goods were right in front when you order: 3 Stars. Secondarily, the service from Uyen the cashier was good. She was friendly and the food came out quickly: 4 Stars. A nice alternative to Lee’s, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here. Definitely a, «I was in the area and I was hungry», kinda place.

Just had the Chicken one recently and forgot that it’s actually pretty good, especially when fresh and toasty. I ain’t head over heels or craving it type of good but yea, I see you. Thai tea is always a nice treat but pricey as heck when you can now hop over the Honey Boba, plop an extra buck for a jug of the stuff with boba. 3 stars, A-OK…

I love the Banh Mi bread here. Granted, it’s the only Banh Mi bread I’ve had so far, but I’m okay staying faithful to it so far, I normally order the sausage sandwhich here. Before I eat it, I dip every single bite in the Indian Chicken Curry. The sandwhich comes with a quarter of a pickle to neutralize your pallet after your meal. This is when you order the Vietnamese coffee. Some people think it sucks, I personally like it. Try it for yourself. Before you go home, make sure you order a Banh Mi bread in a yard-long paper bag and take it home to your family. It will be at that moment that, suddenly, the name«Mr. Baguette» will make perfect sense. I like it much better than Lee’s sandwhiches and other places. It’s also a good place to study or maybe take an hour to organize your week on a Sunday evening. Gotta take yourself out for a date every now and then.

Their coffee is good but they don’t give refills, you have to pay full price again. Uff. Their bread is pretty delicious. Their customer service is below average. Also, I went in here a while ago wanting to apply for a job and as i was filling out the application i noticed that they required me to attach a picture which i found to be very odd. What employer does that for an entry level position? Hmmm

Not sure why people give it such high ratings. The sandwiches are good but not amazing. They always run out of the pork pâté chauds and some of the ladies there are rude as hell. They charge a fee if you use your card. Very limited in English. It gets crowded. The coffee is crazy strong. It’s a typical banh mi shop. The bread is ok but not as good as Bale which is down the street.

The long story: Coffee:5-stars Coffee concentrate or what they call iced coffee definitely much stronger than Lees. Food: 2 stars Banh Mi, The bread thou crispy is tastier and cheaper at surrounding places. Ambiance: 3 stars For Banh mi places in the area, definitely less ghetto than most places, and I don’t feel like I’m gonna get robbed or shot in this place. However, I’m still not impressed. The Short story: You’ll get more bang for your buck at other Banh mi places, but it’s at the cost of risking your life in the hood. Pay more, taste less but stay safe … It’s a trade off

By far the best banh mi joint I’ve ever had in the SGV area! I’ve been on the hunt for banh mi that’s slightly comparable to the former Rainbow Bakery in Chinatown and this one that I came across while driving down Atlantic to ELAC caught my eye! As soon as I walked in, which was around 2:30, I assumed they would be freshly stocked up with pastries and other delicious goodies. NOPE! it was all empty and they only had a rack of one type of pastry, the raisin croissant thingy. I wanted to try the pâté chaud but I didn’t see any that have been made, so I just ordered the special and a cha lua(meat loaf) sandwich with everything in it. Everything, meaning«salad» which are the pickeled daikon and carrots, cilantro, and cucumber. Overall, the bread is decent. The ends were hard and the inside was fluffy, so that really saved the sandwich some stars! They really put quite a generous amount of meat for the price of $ 3.65 a sandwich. Not bad! I would definitely say that this place beat Ba Le, Lee’s Sandwiches, Golden Deli(sandwiches), and Banh Mi Che Cali! I would still have to venture out to Westminster\Gardena for some real Vietnamese food. As for now, this is my go to banh mi spot since it it closer to where I live.(:

What a great discovery! I was in the area for work and was told to try this place out. I seriously visited it 3 times in one day. No joke. For an iced coffee in the morning, clam chowder & grilled pork banh mi sandwich for lunch, and a Thai iced tea later in the afternoon. The prices here can’t be beat… it’s difficult just to spend the $ 10 minimum so you can used debit/credit. The coffee is superrrrrrrr strong. I tried it black, which is how I always drinks my coffee. This time, I had to water it down with some milk and water. The clam chowder is great! The grilled pork banh mi is delicious but not as great as it could have since I asked for it with no mayo. The bread is fresh. Thai is very sweet, like you’ll find at any other place. No boba though… So don’t ask! Inside seating only and there seems to be plenty of parking. I walked over. Check out Mr. Baguette!!!

I was introduced to this place back in 2009 and I’ve always enjoyed the sandwiches here. The bread so crisp, light and flavorful. The condiments inside are very easy to make at home but where do you get your amazing bread? You get it here! But why don’t get a $ 3.69 sandwich while your at it. Love coming here! Will always come back!

Love baguettes Don’t really love their uniform, I mean it’s cute but would personally hate to wear it if I worked here. Like the little hats they wear, ok no. Cheap. Tasty. Only thing I hate is that when you get jalapeños you have to use a little plastic fork which is so hard. Good service, the little ladies are so nice. Thank you mr baguette

As you walk into the store, it is very bright and welcoming. The smell of the fresh baked bread just makes my mouth water. I ordered the special sandwich which has three types of meat and pâté sauce in it. This is no joke of a sandwich. Imagine the size of a Subway sandwich foot-long, but better tasting, much better tasting. Do not eat this without a plate or napkin underneath you though. The bread does tends to be very crispy and it will flake. Delicious though! Their iced coffee: now for this particular coffee, I ordered one without any cream or sugar. A little bit of a mistake. It is extremely strong. It is a lot tastier with the cream and sugar though, but if you are trying to cut the calories, and do not mind a strong taste, then this is for you. I kept it without the cream and sugar, but I did add a lot of ice. Perfect morning picker upper! The staff was quite friendly. Though I do not understand what they say, they have a very genuine and welcoming smile. Update: I don’t know what special thing they put in here, but I’ve been craving their sandwiches almost every week. Happy tummy!!!
