It was the first time I ate pâté. Food is quite good and affordable. I quite like the drinks and the workers are kind. It is just one time, I was alone as usual and a group of kids eating were kind of disrespectful to me and I got angry. I hit their chair. The girl who worked there, handled this professionally. It would not make me discourage to buy next time.

Bad customer service. Waited over 25 min for an order of 2 sandwiches. Kid taking my order forgot to ring me up for 3 different items until after he charged me.

Awesome customer service and they were polite from the beginning to the end. Great drinks and definitely go for Vietnamese ice coffee or Thai ice tea. I came in just the right time when the baguette was out of the oven and it was super fresh; also you can’t beat the price. The only problem is this place accepts cash only, so please bring your bills.

Probably the best customer service I’ve ever received. I ordered a pork sandwich here when I usually order grilled pork sandwich. It looked different(obviously) so I asked the waiter Kevin and he was willing to switch it to grilled pork for free. I said it’s ok but later on he came up and checked upon me if I like it and still was willing to change it. Super nice guy!!! Coffee is obviously one of the best here.

Lee’s Sandwiches has a place in my heart. My first experience was Oklahoma on a job. My Vietnamese colleague took me there, and promised some good eats. It did not disappointment. Having recently moved to LA, I passed a Lee’s Sandwiches one day, and I lost my mind, but having just ate at an In-N-Out Burger minutes before, I made sure to make it a plan to visit one soon. Today, I did, and it was here on Atlantic. I arrived at 10:30am, discovered I was the only customer, and was soon greeted by Kevin. I ordered two coffees and two sandwiches. I received them promptly. Kevin was also accompanied by one of the workers, and they were both super polite!(Thanks guys!) I quickly woke my girlfriend up with a coffee in her face, as soon as I got home. Watching her expression and her eyes widen from the taste meant that the coffee was magnificent, and we both ate happily through our afternoon. Wonderful food! Great drinks! Awesome staff! P.S. If you don’t have cash, which they only accept, there is an ATM in their shop, and considering their amazing prices, that surcharge on your card won’t break your bank, and you’ll leave with good eats! Seriously, visit. And bring somebody!

I.LIVE.FOR.FOOD Haha. Sandwiches being one is my favourite foods, especially Vietnamese sandwiches. This was my second time coming into this Lee’s sandwiches, and it definitely won’t be my last. I always order the dac biet(special.) The bread is always fresh and soft! It doesn’t tear into your gums when you eat it like a lot of other baguettes that are hard to eat. I think they make their breads fresh, which is a big plus! My sandwich, however, didn’t have as much patte as I would have liked, but it was still good. Perhaps if I ask for more next time, they will provide it. The meat is good and mighty tasty. My friend ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and she liked it a lot, seeing how this was her first time eating a Lee’s sandwich. This shop also offers other selections of sandwiches and ice coffee as well. such as European which is cool. I didn’t order any but I think I’d like to try next time I visit. Once me and my friend ordered, we sat down and the cashier offered to bring our sandwiches to us when they were ready. He was nice and also offered us water, seeing that we didn’t order any drinks. They only accept cash as payment, but they have an atm machine right in the shop if you need to withdraw. Only downside is, it charges $ 2 per transaction. Overall, I enjoyed my sandwich. Will be coming back soon!

5 stars on the Lees coffee! Pretty constant and consistent drink. I like to order with less ice. Psss who likes water down coffee. Just give it to me straight, IV if optional :p haha New item: Lemongrass Grilled Chicken! Caliente! Exactly like the regular grill chicken, but with a hint if lemongrass zest. Not that much different to justify extra 12min wait, but for the first time it was worth it. This is so hot off the menu, the cashier didn’t have a button to charge me. haha

Your typical Lee’s Sandwich. You really can’t go wrong here. Everything is very standard but i wouldn’t try and compare it to Banh Mi My Tho or some of the other places since this is a franchise/chain. You can’t go wrong with any of their sandwiches here and their vietnamese coffee is top notch except they give so little coffee and like 90% ice! FOOD Combination Sandwich(baguette) — definitely one of my favorite. For some reason, the meat here usually tastes fresher than other places that I have gotten it from. I also really like their baguette because it’s the thinner baguette as opposed to the french roll. BBQ Pork Baguette — also another good choice. Not as good as banh mi my tho but it does the job. Light lemon grass flavor and lightly charbroiled. If you are craving BBQ this is a great choice! Ham or Turkey Croissant — If i’m not feeling a baguette, i’ll usually end up ordering this. It always has tomato, lettuce, cheese, and a sliced pickle. For about $ 5 you get a full croissant which is a good serving! DRINKS Vietnamese coffee — it’s relatively strong here but i just hate how they put the ice all the way to the rim of the cup and even when they fill it up with coffee, it’s only to about 60% of the top! I mean. come on, coffee doesn’t cost that much does it? In any case, if you let it water down a bit you end up getting more«bang for your buck» and it still tastes as good IMO. SERVICE Service is pretty standard here. I can’t say I’ve ever really had a bad experience at Lee’s. Then again it’s not like they go out of their way to give five star service.

I got a free coffee with my sandwich, which I couldn’t finish because it was too sweet. The sandwich was alright, but not as fresh as I’m used to with other local places.

This Lee’s sandwiches is very standard for this chain; it’s small but I don’t feel like they arranged the spacing well. They have a current promotion for their Taiwan opening, offering a free iced coffee with the purchase of an asian sandwich. Bonus! Since their iced coffee is quite delicious. Can’t say the same for their banh mi as it is very average. I had the special #11, and I felt there wasn’t enough saucing or pâté. Their cold meats such as the headcheese and pork loaf did not taste as well as others I’ve had. Bread was soft, but not crunchy and the size of the sandwich seems shorter than the local chains I’ve had. It is however a chain restaurant, so it is what it is — a good fast food alternative in a plaza where there are not that many quick food options. On the other hand, I do very much enjoy their croissants. A-OK.

I came hear the other day with my family for a quick bite The manager took my order after repeating it four times to him. I was asking him questions about the menu he had a look on his face like he had no idea what i was talking about. We where waiting for our order forever because they only had one other person there making the food and it was busy. Finally we got our order the food was ok. But NOTWORTHCOMINGBACKTO

First of all, I love banh mi! If done right, they’re one of my favorite things to eat. But my opinion, Lee’s just doesn’t taste that good. First of all, their bread is super hard. I know it’s a baguette but still, its especially hard at this place. Rips my mouth apart for days. And then the taste of the meat and ingredients just aren’t great. I don’t know what it is. Lastly because Lee’s is a chain, they can charge a little more for their sandwiches. If you want a way better sandwich for cheaper, go down the street to Ba Le. It’s so good!

Boy am I glad I didn’t read the reviews before coming here or I probably would have stayed away and missed out on a great banh mi. Lee’s is pretty much the same anywhere I try it. This place is no different as far as the sandwiches are concerned. I was a little disappointed they were not selling pâté(or they were out or whatever) but I get it, it was clearly a slow day and the mall was empty. It wouldn’t make sense to make a batch that probably won’t sell. This place is a business, people, get that through your head. Don’t be that asshole that shows up 5 minutes before closing with expectations of the service you receive during NORMALBUSINESSHOURS. Don’t do this ANYWHERE. PLEASE. Also something I’d like to address, I used to work at a place that served Vietnamese coffee. That ish is literally super strong caffeine-packed coffee and condensed milk. THOSEARETHEONLYINGREDIENTS. The reason why the entire cup is filled with ice is because it dilutes the crazy strong mixture of bitter and sweet into a palatable drink. It’s not because a business is money-hungry or cheap and trying to bully you, get over yourself seriously holy crap. Asking for no ice does not mean you get more coffee. That’s like ordering a steak and egg breakfast, NOEGG, and being mad that you didn’t get more steak. Shut up. Okay rant over. Order the classic grilled pork sandwich! Chashu pork was good too. The jalapenos are really spicy here, beware! Plenty of seating inside and out in the mall.

I was not too impressed with this place. It’s located in an outdoor Asian mall with a variety of different stores. I guess I was expecting more. When you walk in, it has the appearance of a fast food chain restaurant. You order at the counter, then wait for your food. They sell a whole bunch of drinks and sandwiches. Unfortunately, they were pretty slow so people basically accumulate in the walkways and seating areas. The décor could definitely use an upgrade. I had the Vietnamese iced coffee and it was SO sweet. I guess maybe it was supposed to be like that, but it was just overwhelming. It was basically sugar and cream in a cup full of crushed ice.

So we stop by here and hung out. Bought one drinks for each of us and we have 7 people in our table. We cracked some jokes and laugh a number of times. After few times we were laughing, some guy from the cashier told us not to laugh too loud. We were like«this ain’t no fine dining place where we need to be quiet». Their mere juice machine is louder than all of us. This place is a café where people sit down, hang out, eat some food and drink. Feel no love for and from this place.

I tried to hire them for catering, for what would hope to be every other week $ 700+ catering order, to deliver 5 miles away. 1) it took 2 days for them to call me back after I made the initial inquiry 2) their reasoning they had was. they couldn’t deliver for that day/time and asked me to pick it up instead. I said, well, we were hoping for a semi-regular catering for every monday, and she didn’t seem to care. I guess $ 700+ every other week isn’t worth a 10 minute drive. So Lee’s, why advertise you can cater and offer catering and possible full service yet I can’t get a few trays delivered to me? I wasn’t given the option to pay a delivery fee, or anything else… just that it couldn’t happen at that date and time. Lame.
