Got boba is pretty awesome always get the passion fruit slush with boba and jelly, but they don’t always have the boba ready that’s why I’m only giving it 4 stars.

Best Boba I’ve ever had! Love it! Great music! Fun place to hang out with friends. I drive here from West LA. It’s definitely worth the drive.

3.5 Stars. Boba was satisfying! This tea shop is next to Shun Phat. I only stopped by to pick up a quick drink with my friends. I got a honey milk tea with boba. The tea was good and the boba was really chewy, so I liked it a lot. I didn’t stay long, but the shop was cute. The posters for their durian smoothie and watermelon drink were really tempting — maybe next time. They only have a few tables inside, and those tables only comfortably seat 2(although 4 is possible) so I wouldn’t recommend it as a place to chill with a lot of friends. The drinks may not be as fancy as the other trendy and chain tea stores around, but I think it stands well on it’s own! I was pleasantly surprised.

CASHONLY! This place has got to be the only Boba shop in the SGV to have a Durian Smoothie! You can practically smell the durian when they are making it. Not only does it smell like it, it taste like it! It is so good. It’s like eating a Durian without the mess! Their Boba Milk Tea on the other hand is a different story. I don’t know how you can get boba milk tea wrong, but they clearly did. It was just bitter and tasted like coffee, and the boba was too hard to chew. I guess they are still in the process of getting their drinks together. As for the popcorn chicken, it’s okay. Nothing special that stands out. They don’t have sweet & sour sauce for the chicken… just ketchup. Overall, I would come back again. Just for the Durian smoothie though.

Perhaps they should change their business hours on this page or post whatever the heck their hours are on the front door? Today’s the second time I’ve dropped by(a bit after 11) only to find it closed.

Id give it 3.5 stars if I could but service was a bit slow this time around. I’ve been here maybe ¾ times now and honestly its not too bad. It’s not TenRen but definitely better than Quickly. I ordered Yogurt Green Tea and its just the right amount of flavor. A large cup cost me a little over 3 $ and its not bad! You get what you paid for. A decent cup of boba.

It’s been too long, my boba — my love! Ooo, and they have new items and snacks now. It’s a cute joint with a couple tables and outlets. Parking is very convenient, but watch out for the concrete islands in the parking lot! Lol. The stables are the usual milk tea or hokkaido milk tea. The hokkaido is pretty darn good! The smoothies are good too. I just tried their new potted plant milk tea — trendy! Best of all, the price is very affordable. And I picked up $ 1 of Lotto too heh.

Stopped by here to grab a drink while we waited for the car wash next door. This place is extremely small. There’s 2 tables inside and none outside. The drinks are cheaper than most places and they are not stingy with the boba.

Durian Smoothie: Wished it had more real durian in it but it’s good.

This place… is meh. First taste of my jasmine milk tea was fine. It tasted a bit watery but still had a nice subtle tea flavor. However, after drinking more sips of it, it all just tasted like artificial sweetener. You know, that distinct splenda /sugar substitute aftertaste that lingers on your tongue… I wanted to give this place a chance but it got even worse when my mom ordered her own drink, and then they didn’t even replace it when she found a leak on the cup. We walked over to the car after getting the drinks and realized 1⁄3 of it leaked out because of a faulty cup. I know it wasn’t intentional of them to give us a broken cup, but they didn’t even bother replacing the drink; just gave a new cup to my mom to pour remaining 2⁄3 of the milk tea. Really? :(

I usually grab the watermelon juice here. It tastes very fresh, but it’s one of the more pricey menu items(almost $ 5 for a large). This place is cash only, and is located in the same plaza as the Shun Fat market. It’s a good place to grab a quick drink after picking up your groceries.

Stay away from this place especially since there are better boba options just a short walk from here like ten ren or half and half. I ordered the oolong jade milk tea, asked for less ice and what I got was a milky looking drink that was sweet and lacked any tea flavor and half a cup of ice. Very cheap drink was only $ 3.11 but a cup of water would have tasted better.

I don’t usually order boba due to the high starch content, but I love milk teas and flavored fruit teas. I randomly stopped by one day after picking up some groceries at Shun Fat market and ordered a Jasmine milk green tea. I was pleasantly surprised at how cheap it was! A regular sized Jasmine milk green tea runs about $ 3.65 at places like Ten Rens, but at Got Boba it was only $ 2.45 including tax! The milk tea was very decent too! Excited about finding a boba place with cheap prices and decent milk teas, I came by again a week later to find it randomly closed when it was suppose to be open according to its schedule. There was no sign on the door indicating where the workers had gone. I was rather peeved and disappointed. I’ll probably will come by again in the future if I’m in the area. I definitely recommend trying this place if you don’t feel like paying 4 bucks for milk tea!

I’m confused as to why this place has such a high rating! Maybe my friend as I ordered the wrong things — I’ve actually had Got Boba bookmarked to try their fresh durian smoothie, but I completely forgot and didn’t order it this time. I got the mixed fruit green tea — no fruit inside and SUPER sweet! i forgot to ask for half sugar. My friend got an iced coffee that tasted super burnt and bitter. We were both not pleased but the total was $ 4.80 for both drinks, so you really can’t beat that. i’ll probably come back to try their durian smoothie one day, and hopefully its delicious. *fingers crossed*

Star Rating: 3 to 3 ½ stars, but has plenty of room to improve. How I found this place: Searched on Unilocal for new establishments that just opened up in Los Angeles. A friendly Unilocaler wrote a tip that said they had durian smoothies! Once I read the words durian smoothie, I was game. Called my food buddy in crime Jennifer T. to try this place with me. Location/Décor: Same plaza as the Hong Kong Supermarket. A small little boba shop with 4 or 5 small tables. They have this neat old fashion payphone. I didn’t pick it up to see if it actually had a actual dial tone. This place reminds me of a lolicup. Service: The cashier was informative, friendly, and gave us samples to try. Drinks were made quickly Drink of choice: Durian smoooothie: Made out of real fruit and fresh milk! To be honest I don’t really know what the concept what fresh milk is. In my book, if milk isn’t sour tasting or not past it’s expiration date I am onboard! The distinct durian smell and taste was present with with every single gulp and the sweetness level was just right. It was music to my nose and tastebuds! Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm! Not my drink of choice: Wintermelon milk tea… Yikes, Wintermelon taste overload! Thought I would get wintermelon wasted. It’s known to have a lot of health benefits and takes away the«Yeet Hay»(translated hot air in cantonese) from the body. Conclusion: Will try this place again when I’m in the area. Yay for durian Smoothies!

I’m going to be the sour patch kid who gives this 4.5 star joint 3 stars only… sorry! It can potentially be pretty good, but from what I saw/tried, I was reminded of my college days at Lollicup or Quickly. =DRINKS= 1) Durian Real Fruit Smoothie — Pretty good and fresh. You can actually smell the delicious scent of durian while they’re making it in the back. Awesome! The smoothie was a pretty good consistency with a pretty solid/fresh/strong flavor. I only took one very good sip and the durian flavor lingered in my mouth for the next 2 hours(WHILE I drank my own order too!) 2) Wintermelon Milk Tea — Wow… SO much winter melon taste. If you like extremely strong and sweet winter melon taste, this is for you. It was NOT for me. I mean, it is not to say this was disgusting, but it was a little too much for me. Not recommended. Their special milk tea that I tried as a sample was actually pretty good(wish I got that one instead). =SERVICE= The service was pretty good. The young lady at the counter offered us samples without us even asking, and our drinks were made fairly quickly. I think they are kind of pre-made. Anyway, they’re going to have a lotto machine here in a little while… so for you folks who like to do that, lucky you! =FINALVERDICT= While I was not too impressed with their drinks, I was not turned off by the whole ordeal. I’m still hoping for another shot at being blown away(as I kind of expected to be the first time).

I don’t know what day it opened but I might as well do this first review since it says grand opening on the door. I’m assuming it opened this week since there is nobody added this place yet in Unilocal. Located in the middle of the same complex as ShunFat supermaket. We walked by and my wife saw it and says«Look Bobby, it’s a grand opening of a new tea place.» After shopping for some groceries in the supermarket, we came in and checked out the place. A small but nicely modern interior with a workable payphone. Now where do you do see a payphone nowadays with 90% of America have cell phones. Looking through the menu, I got all excited because a large milk tea cost only $ 2.85, a regular is $ 2.20. Probably it’s because this place is brand new but where do you find a large milk tea for that price, NOWHERE.(LOL). Making the tea was fast and they are friendly also. I took the first sip of my honeydew milk tea and I like how it tastes. Not so sweet and they were easy on the sugar. I like it that way, not like Tea Station where they pour like 4 tablespoons of sugar. She likes her brown sugar milk tea cos it tastes like brown sugar. LOL. My only problem is the color of my honeydew. The appearance looks like a regular milk tea. Light brown in color but it definitely tastes like honeydew. I would assume it would look light greenish. They should work on the presentation so it lures more customers. But I paid around $ 6.80 for 2 large milk tea drinks. Not bad. Location is great with plenty of parking around the complex and on the streets. I give this place 3 ½ stars for a start off. We would be back soon for a quick and cheap refresher. Oh ya, it’s CASHONLY.
