Went here about a few months ago. I was the only one there, so I was seen right away which was major plus. Only problem I had was that I was told the minimum was $ 90 and would be charged no more than that because my tattoo was extremely small. Only to be told that the price is $ 95 after I was finished(even though I planned on leaving a tip.). Then later to find out the minimum is only $ 80(a $ 10 difference, it’s the principle at the end of the day.) Overall, I love my tattoo. Got both of my tattoos from here, I would definitely recommend the place.

I’ve had a few tattoos done here and I’ve always been impressed by the staff and the service. Today my husband got a new tattoo and Morgan was really friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back for my next piece.

I am not a fan of negative reviews but I feel a sense of duty in writing this so others may not suffer the same fate as I. Mm hmm. I went in to get my septum pierced and worked with Jose. He was very gentle, amiable and professional. However, he pierced my septum too high on one side and came in low on the other — my left to right — causing the horseshoe ring to be very very crooked ie showing on one side more the the other. When I asked why it was crooked he said«it always is». I thought okay, he wouldn’t lie to me. It’s unnecessary to since this is obviously difficult to do, the truth will set you free blah blah blah or you might get a bad Unilocal review! He charged me $ 60($ 10 more than what was quoted) and I tipped $ 20 cause that’s just what you do. It was really bothering me as I looked at it throughout the day and I decided to visit another piercing parlor in NYC the next day after work and they confirmed that it was very crooked and not even close to pierced straight. Solution — take the ring out, let it heal for 3 weeks and then have it done again! $ 80 down the drain.

Way overpriced and not such a great experience to get a first tattoo! Service could definitely improve.

My husband and I have both had tattoos done here by Chris and Morgan and I have had a piercing here as well. We were very happy with the customer service as well as our tattoos. We will definitely be back for more!!!

Their service is subpar. To be greeted, you’d have to scout someone out and speak first. I’m giving them the benefit of doubt because it was packed which in turn had the receptionist preoccupied and the tattooists were pretty focused on their task at hand. I recommend that you walk in early because the place does fill up in the afternoon. The tattoo artists are super talented and the quality is superb! Keep up the great work :)

Despite the staff really casual in their attitude and dress code, as well as the place smelling like marijuana, the staff was pretty professional when it came to the job. Hygienic and very friendly. They’re really helpful in helping people decide what tattoos they want. They’ll never pressure you into something they know is a permanent purchase for most people. In fact, they try to advise people against dumb impulse tattoos. They’re really ethical. Overall, great place — would recommend. The reason why I’m giving it a 4 instead of a 5 is because I’ve only been here once for one small tattoo. It probably is a 5/5, but I’d have to get more work done from them to judge them for sure.
