Panzano Pizzeria

If you like pizza as much as I do, you’ll love this restaurant. Whether you are dining in or getting delivery, they got you covered. I always get a large pie with pineapples and never get disappointed. The garlic knots are on point as well. The pizza also passed the left over test. When cold all flavors are locked in and delicious. Customer service is great. I will be returning most definitely.

Decent and hits the spot. We went for plain cheese and it was yummy!!! Go for it if you’re looking for pizza in this area.

We walked upon this place after two of our dinner reservations got screwed up and we were looking for a quick bite. Looks like mostly a take out joint but they have a cute little section with tables. We sat down and had a waitress and it was such a pleasant surprise. We expected average pizza slices but ended up ordering their homemade mozzarella as an appetizer. So fresh and delicious! The service was great and they threw in a complimentary order of garlic knots! I ordered the antipasto salad and my boyfriend got the grilled chicken sandwich. Both were yummy! Nice little spot! Didn’t try the pizza but I’m sure it’s great!

Yes I must say everyone is right about the pizza it is very good. I have never tried any of there other dishes. But the pizza is a slice of heaven in your mouth. They have a $ 5.00 lunch special Mon thru Fri. 2 slices of pizza and a drink. Outside seating in front of the store if you would like to sit outside on a nice day. But the pizza is a must try.

Sooo good! Meatballs are out of this world, pizza is fantastic. Dough is light and airy. Arrived hot, and prices are reasonable. Try their machines and cheese bites and garlic bread. Yum.

The second worse pizza I have ever had. I was very disappointed… pizza should never be bad. Maybe the pizza was old which would make sense since no one who tried it should want to go back.

Not only is it the best pizza in Montclair, it’s the best pizza in North Jersey!!! Chris and John are the nicest of people and the place is always immaculate. If you haven’t eaten there, do yourself a favor and do so.

This place is SO disrespectful and rude! Every time I call to place an order for delivery the employee who answers (usually a young girl) is extremely rude. I live in Nutley and my house is exactly 3.5 miles away from Panzano’s…a year ago I called to ask if they delivered to Nutley and the guy said ‘yes!’. The food came and I enjoyed their pizza and wings a lot! The food is great here and their wings are spicy and crispy!
For a year now I would get food delivered but EVERYTIME that young RUDE girl would answer my order was always messed up. I called tonight to place my order and the same young RUDE girl answered and said ‘yea we don’t deliver to Nutley’ and I told her that they have for a year and she said ‘no we don’t deliver there’.
I’m somewhat confused? Why for an entire year has this business who claims to have ‘family friendly service’ all of a sudden stops delivering food to neighboring towns? Again… I live 3.5 miles away.
I am disgusted that a business treats their customers this way! Christopher and Jonathan– you own a restaurant that serves people great food! It’s just a shame that you are willing to lose customers because you have a disrespectful employee who has no consideration about treating customers with ‘family friendly service’ that you claim Panzano’s is. I myself am in the business of serving customers and I train my employees to take care of the customer! I would never let anyone work for me who had no regard about treating the customer properly. Maybe you should RETHINK the image that you are portraying with these disrespectful employees.
I will never return to this establishment, and I don’t recommend people going there!

This place is fantastic! I live in the area and order from Panzano all the time. I figured it was about time to write a review…
First off, the guys who own this place are great. They’re always so nice and you can tell that they really care about the customers. It seems like they know a lot of the regulars, which is cool to see.
The food is awesome. We order the sandwiches a lot because they’re so good, but we recently started branching out and trying more things on the menu. Their pizzas are delicious (we love the rigatoni vodka pizza) and they have a bunch of good sides & appetizers.
The owner recently recommended the pinwheels (we tried buffalo chicken) and I’m glad he did because they were so good. I also recommend the Pazottis!

No flavors! not even their plain pizza tasted good in my opinion. I went there because of the good reviews but ended up disappointed :(

Great food!!! Awesome service. I got every two weeks there for the supreme pie and buffalo wings.

These people better get their act together if they want my business again. Not only was I placed on hold three times to order a simple pizza for delivery, our order arrived 60 minutes after my call when I was assured it would only take 30 – 40 minutes. (They are located THREE blocks away). The brain dead delivery person got lost or they just didn’t send the food out.

Cashier was a ditz… We repeated our order 3 times and she only wrote down half of it. The pizza cook had to come out and ask us what we wanted. The Gluten free crust was ok but seems like it would be hit or miss because one of the pies we got wasn’t crunchy at all. They are 12inch gluten free crusts that are big enough to share.

What I ordered: A sausage, pepperoni, and mushroom pie (made to order), macaroni and cheese bites, and a slice of chicken bacon ranch pizza
PROS: the pizza they made fresh for me to pick up was really good. The toppings were fresh and there was the perfect amount of cheese and sauce. Sauce was delicious. Everything was good-​Super friendly staff, I think it was the owner who greeted me. Really nice and personable guy.
CONS: the only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars? the pie crust has room for improvement. It’s good, but it’s not SO good that I want to keep eating the crust after the majority of the pizza is gone. And it was slightly burnt.
Would I go back? Absolutely!

Another amazing deep dish pizza.. amazing and the young pizza guy is a kick too. We always get the brocolli cheddar and it’s always the best.. Just wish they delivered to orange

This place is great. We’ve ordered from here somewhere between 15 – 20 times in the last six months (and my waistline shows it) and have always been happy with the results.
Delivery is fairly quick, all of their pizzas have been excellent, and their sides are equally good.
I’ve also recently eaten at the store itself for a couple of quick slices and everyone there is really pleasant.
We love this place and it’s our go-​to for pizza.

Friendly service, good food, the delivery took a bit longer then promised, but hey it was a Thursday night and they seemed busy.
Personal pizza was pretty big, could easily feed 4 people. I saved it for later.
Chicken Parmesan was excellent. I got it with a side of Penne which was also very good. It was so much food I saved the rest for lunch the next day.
Lastly the baked ziti was very flavorfull and not too salty.
I will definately order and stop by to eat here in person next time.

I’ve only ordered from Panzano Pizzeria for delivery and I can say that the food/​service is good!
There are two factors that I take into account for a good pizza place:
1. good pizza
2. fast delivery
Panzano’s offers both. I’ve also ordered chicken parm and the grilled chicken fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, baby arugula sandwich. Although I can’t attest for the chicken parm but my boyfriend said it was good. As for the grilled chicken fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, baby arugula sandwich — it’s good. It literally has everything in the name on an Italian roll with some sort of vinaigrette dressing.
Conclusion:
I would lie if I said that this is the best pizza I’ve ever tasted, but it’s still pretty good!

A fellow Montclairian mentioned that this was only place to order pizza in town. I have yet to do so, but I did however try a couple of their dinner entrees. Based on my two experiences with them, I must say, they have won my vote over that pizzeria in Verona. Even their customer service. The ingredients were absolutely fresh! From the side salads to the dinner sauces. It really makes a difference. It even makes me want to order from them tonight!
I will get to their pizzas, I promise!

I try not to review places I’ve never actually walked into, but I feel compelled to let the world know just how good Panzano’s is. This review pertains only to the delivery service, the meat lovers pizza, and the garlic knots. Again, I’ve never stepped foot in the door so I can’t speak for the ambience, seating, parking situation, etc. etc.
I called in my first order here last week (meat lovers and garlic knots), was told the wait would be 30 minutes, and truth be told, the delivery guy was at my doorstep exactly 30 minutes after they told me 30 minutes. Impressive. I learned from him that Panzano’s had been open for about a year. I’m only sad I didn’t know about them sooner.
The meatlovers was loaded with meat (see my picture below) and the garlic knots were delicious. Nice marinara as well. $ 27 for everything, 20% tip included.
When I called back here less than one week later for another delivery, I ordered the same thing. This time around, they told me they were out of garlic knots, but said they’d make some fresh for me. Again, I was impressed. Unlike other places, they could have just told me they were out and that I was shit out of luck. Not these guys.
I’m just so happy that I FINALLY found a good pizza joint that delivers in my area. I moved to New Jersey 5 years ago and I’m happy to announce that my quest has finally come to an end. This is officially my new go-​to delivery. Join the bandwagon.
