Not coming back. Only been here once. While I was there guys in the kitchen were arguing in front of everybody in a threatening way(there were kids present) and cussing. Ordered a pie to go. Waited 20 minutes before asking about it and apparently the pie was sitting there for some time. When I complained the guy at the register apologized but said something to the effect of don’t worry it’s still hot. Not really the type of place I would come back to… but the good part it was cheap. Last it was okay pizza. Much better elsewhere in Montclair. But you get what you pay for.

Villa Vic is awesome. Their food is delicious and the customer service is the best ever. The owner and the managers care and the food is really great. Thank you, Villa Vic staff for the big favor today. Love love love you guys!

I would give more stars if the service wasn’t so horrible. The food is good nothing spectacular, but whenever I call in an order they tell me 30 – 40 min, after waiting that long or more I make my way over and the food is NEVER ready. I’m 99% sure that every time I called in an order for pickup they start making the order when I get there, either they forget or want to save $$ incase there is a no show? Even when I ate their and sat outside & got a salad they forgot about it until I went up to ask where it was. Pretty much I noticed they do this every time except when order pizza right then and there and wait. Maybe it will be better once they expand to the restaurant, but I refuse to order from there after giving them 3 chances. Good food. Horrible service.

Tonight, my roommate, my boyfriend and I ordered $ 57 worth of food and had it delivered. We ordered shrimp crostini, wild mushroom risotto, tortellini alfredo, a cheese steak sandwich, and a slice of cheesecake. First the good(because it will be SOMUCH shorter than the bad and the ugly): the tortellini alfredo was delicious. Nice creamy sauce and a generous portion. The cheesecake was the best part of the meal, IMHO. Light and fluffy, just the way cheesecake should be. The risotto was passable at best. The mushrooms were good, but the risotto itself was so overcooked, it had the consistency of oatmeal, and it was drowning in sauce. Now the bad: the shrimp part of the shrimp crostini was okay, but the crostini(described as «homemade toasted focaccia) was closer to soggy Wonder bread. Not only was it NOT toasted, it was drenched in sauce. The cheese steak sandwich left a lot to be desired… for starters, we DESIRED some steak on it! There were 2 thin, pathetic slices of meat covered in mozzarella. My roommate specifically asked to substitute American cheese for the mozzarella. Finally, THEUGLY: when we opened the boxes, there was no cutlery, napkins or condiments. Upon our discovery that all was NOT well, my roommate called the restaurant. Instead of being concerned, or apologizing, the man who answered chuckled in a nasty way, and informed her that, «This is the way we’ve been making it for 16 years.» At this point, allow me to mention that my roommate and I are both currently in the bar/restaurant business, with a combined SIXTYYEARS of experience(we started young, we’re not THAT old!!), while my boyfriend has almost a decade of time served behind the bar. Under no circumstances would any one of us have ever been so dismissive to an unhappy customer. There was no attempt to make things right or even to sympathize. Had this man not been so rude, I could have overlooked the lack of forks and knives, salt and pepper, napkins and grated cheese. I would have been understanding about the fact that sometimes, at the end of the night, the food doesn’t come out perfect. Had he not been so snotty, I probably wouldn’t be writing this review at all. But there you have it. Customer service can make or break an experience, and next time we decide to spend almost $ 60 on delivery food, it certainly won’t be from Villa Victoria.

I had a slice from here several times and it’s nothing special. I have had much worse tasting pizza in montclair and in praised brooklyn too, but this place is just meh. Slices are huge though. I like when you see the open kitchen in the restaurant but in this case– you better not to. Doesn’t look clean at all, staff looks irritated and rude. They started accepting cards($ 10 minimum). Most probably I will walk past it to the next place on the street when I have pizza craving in the future.

Good pizza, if you get the thin crust variety. This is the best classic pie I have found in Montclair. Service can be slow. To their credit, they actually called up and apologized to us after a particularly bad night. I’m kind of stunned that they did, but they did. The garlic knots are simultaneously nothing special and amazing, I know it sounds weird but it’s true.

Delicious pizza and fast delivery. I ordered the ½ plain ½ chicken & broccoli pizza and it tasted pretty darn good.

Villa Victoria has the best Sicilian slices around here. They’re really good, cheesy and the pizza sauce is delicious. I’ve also tried a couple of their pastas, and the Linguini Mare e Monte is quite good. I’ve been here multiple times, and have never had any problems with the service. Everyone has always been friendly.

Phenomenal Pizzeria with delicious food. Whether its the Club Wrap, Cesar Salad with Grilled Shrimp or the Chicken Marsala Pizza, this place hits the jackpot. I would put their grilled shrimp up against any prime time restaurant in the Montclair area… Its that delicious. I’d love to order a catering tray size and bring it home to the family for dinner! New Orleans Salad is out of this world… you really cant make it up… Top it off with their grilled cajun chicken… The Philly Cheese Wrap with Grilled chicken is 1 of 10 other ways to go for lunch or dinner.

The only good thing about this place is that they are open late. Their pizza is not good at all. Go to mr Dino’s instead.

i love the pizza here! the best pizza i have had in NJ and i grew up in Brooklyn, NY so that’s saying a lot! Garlic knots are awesome but best not to get them toward the end of the day because they will be a bit on the hard side.

Let me set the record straight. I’m giving 4 stars for food, not service. I used to go to Nauna’s(been going there since before it moved across the street). I now go to Villa Victoria. When it’s good, it’s the best pizza in Montclair. It’s definitely hit or miss. It’s always quick but service usually sucks. If you don’t care about that(it’s a cashier guys, they don’t need to be nice) I recommend coming here.

I find this to be the best thin-crust pizza in the area. This accounts for the frequently bustling store front, but they usually manage to keep things moving pretty briskly. The wait staff is friendly and competent and they do deliver. They offer a number of pizza slice varieties for walk-in business, and make whole pies to order. I also love their Greek salad, which comes with or without chicken. Street parking can be tricky, but they’re right next to a municipal parking lot. Best pizza in the area!

I have had 2 slices there, regular and Margarita. Both were large but unfortunately they were tasteless too. Bland tomatoes, sauce, cheese and crust. The up side is the counter staff was nice and the slices are big. If you are just looking to fill your gut this place will work.

Best pizza in town. I’ve heard of people from uptown getting pizza here even though other places are a lot closer. It’s worth the trip.

Satisfyingly cheesy, the pies from Villa Victoria are always spot on! I order from here at least every 2 weeks when I crave that tangy tomato sauce, and finishing the slice off with a crunchy crust. As far as toppings go, expect your run-of-the-mill NYC pie experience without having to take the train over. So now that I’m done salivating over their pizza pies, I will go on to be a tad more critical: I don’t know about their otherwise Italian food, But I suggest staying away from their«appetizers.» The wings were spongy on the outside and dry on the inside, with very little flavor all around. And just like everything in Montclair, they’re overpriced. The chicken fingers were just ok also, not crunchy or flavorful at all. Last night, I ordered a Caesar salad that clogged my arteries., which I didn’t think was possible!(Admittedly I should’ve asked for the dressing on the side but I felt guilty calling in 10 minutes before closing, so I forgot.) The romaine was fresh and the croutons were the perfect size, and their herb seasoning was complimentary, however. And lastly, I once ordered a tiramisu that made me want to cry. It was definitely a frozen container of freezer burn and failed expectations. So I learned my lesson: ONLYORDERPIZZA. But hot damn is it good stuff!

From time to time when I am in Montclair, I stop here to get a slice of deep dish cheese pizza. Their pizza is seriously delicious. I also am in love with their garlic knots. The prices here however, are pretty expensive for just pizza. It is good quality pizza, so I cannot complain too much. It usually gets crowded in there so i suggest taking your pizza to go.

If you are craving garlic rolls, cheese fries or other fried greasy appetizers you can likely get your fix here. Pizza, eh not so much. Though only outside of NYC by 30 – 40 minutes, the pizza here compares to something you would eat in South Carolina. And I like South Carolina, but I don’t go there for pizza.

Just got back from a trip from a country with no running water, questionable food products and recovering from dysentery? Give this place a try because it will be better than were you just came from. How the ratings for this place are high is beyond me. Its gross overall. The service blows and I can’t STAND watching everyone touch all the food with their dirty hands and then wiping them repeatedly on their filthy aprons. The food is horrible. HOOOOOORRRRRIBLE. I’ve had one good thing from there in 8 years: The Greek Pizza. Once it hit the $ 18 mark for spinach, two pounds of reds onions, 6 pieces of black olives and crumbles of feta so small I had to ask if they really put feta on it, I decided I wasn’t going back. The catch that used to drive me insane(aside form the ridiculous price) is it used to come raw in the middle so you have to ask them to COOK it. Really? I kind of expected pizza to be cooked with your big pizza ovens. if I had an oven like that in my house, I wouldn’t ORDERPIZZAFROM A PIZZAPLACE. The high school kids who sit outside everyday? Those are their perfect customers because they aren’t old enough to know that this is crummy pizza with acidic red sauce and don’t care about the employees manhandling their food with dirty hands. Pasta: dry and barely edible. Apparently their version of «al dente» means«Fuck it — toss this four day old pasta into a tin pan, throw some crappy red sauce over it and try to pretend its special to people who don’t know what real Italian sauce is supposed to taste like.» Service: Grumpy, and that’s on a good day. NO room for seating other than the 4 stools inside. This is a to-go place unless you want to sit at the crappy $ 5 plastic chairs on the sidewalk with the teenagers. Love hate relationship? I absolutely LOVE to HATE this place and unapologetic about it. :-)

My boyfriend and I pass by Villa every time we need a bottle of wine for a dinner night out in Montclair. This past Sunday, we finally were able to check out on a lazy afternoon. Verdict = a solid three stars. Their pizza is saucy and fairly large.(The CHICKENSLICE we bought was large enough to span over two paper plates). Their slices are +/-$ 2 depending on the slice and topping. I guess you can say in terms of their specialty slices, its not your average pizzeria but nothing that puts them stand out in my foodie book. Will i come back again? Maybe out of convenience, and in the area?! Other than that, no.
