This place is now closed for business. The phone and web address default to the New Jin Lin on Bloomfield Avenue. Read my review of the New Jin Lin just posted on Unilocal

Im tired of their cheap and indignant attitude. The place needs new carpet and a renovation. Looks like world war II when you enter. When you order they do not ask specifics to get the order correct. When they make a mistake they still make you pay for it and shift the blame. I would be very wear of ordering from them again. Their chicken wings were completely disgusting and old. The white rice and broccoli were good.

I used to go here frequently years ago, then forgot about the place except for occasional delivery orders. I have recently resumed eating there, but have mixed feelings about it. I remember the atmosphere as being much nicer in past decades. The food is good, and I particularly enjoy the scallion pancakes appetizer, which I seldom find at other Chinese restaurants. The single waitress they seem to have, at least at the times I’ve gone there recently, seems ill-suited to the job. She does not speak English well, and seems always in a bad mood. I have yet to see her smile. 10÷2÷15 Now seems to be closed. Not particularly surprising, I suppose. Practically empty every time I visited, apparently survived on takeout/delivery business.

The food quality wasn’t the best. Especially for the price you’re paying. There is better options in the area.

Low quality expensive take out. I sampled 3 dishes and all of them were tasteless. I will not be back.

Great Chinese food, close to home. No MSG. I’ve never eaten in the restuarant, only picked up food or had it delivered. It’s our go to place for Chinese food. I’ve talked to the«grumpy old lady» mentioned by other reviewers — give me a break — she’s not grumpy, just wants to Get Your Order and Move On.

Sometimes what is near and close by. You overlook it. This Chinese restaurant is next to our office… is that convenient. Their won Ton soup is great, and the chicken with broccoli very good. Served hot, and quickly. we were there for a birthday lunch and had time to just sit and talk . They have a brisk take-out business… many people just order pick up. and pick up. No MSG, they deliver and also have a pleasant sit down area. Lunch specials…$ 5.45 to $ 6.55 for soup and entre

There’s a grumpy older lady taking orders sometimes who really appears to hate humanity. Everyone else there is pleasant though and the food is good enough for the occasional takeout.

Their food is presented as being more authentic and a step slightly above what you get at most Chinese restaurants. It is quite good actually, but it is almost, if not just as greasy or «processed» as those Chinese places. I am a fan of their wonton soup, I prefer the darker and deeper tasting beef broth than chicken broth. Their chicken with broccoli isn’t bad at all either, and most times, their boiled dumplings are great too. What’s great are the lunch specials for a cheap price that includes either a soup or soda. Get the soup of course; you’re getting more for your money and you can get a drink wherever. The employees change relatively often, but it seems to be a family owned business. You always see them around a table eating. There is one older woman who is a bit grouchy, especially when she doesn’t understand what you’ve just said. The dining room is nice and it a formal sit down dining area. A pretty good Chinese place for the area.
