Nice friendly staff thats the only reason they get 2 stars.
I took in my schecter jeff loomis signature to get appraised for either a buy or a loan and the owner (guy with glasses) told me he would give me 20 bucks for a loan. I dont think he really knows how to value guitars.

This Is a pretty cool pawn shop. I come by for DVDs mainly. After or during work. They always have great DVDs on stock. Hidden gems In the selection. Cheap prices for them. The staff is cool. I also have bought video games there. You can always talk the prices down on thing if «prices are too high» on other Items. They are reasonable people. I would recommend coming here.

They have the nicest Staff. They were there when I needed them. Always helpful when I needed to take a loan and was very understanding. I definitely would give them a A rating and would recommend them to any body that wants to buy or needs a loan

A good place to shop for your special someone. Great jewels at a great price. Friendly service and a lot of fun. I love this place always get a great deal. I have read some negative reviews on this business and it is difficult for me to credit them with much reliability. I have purchased a number of pieces from this business all have proven much higher in value than the asking price. As for the people, they make you not want to leave always… I repeat, ALWAYS pleasent. If someone encountered a negative attitude there, it’s my guess they brought it with them. These folks make you wanna stop by just to visit them, very nice people. You get great prices, swift cooperative service, patient salespeople who work with you to find the pieces that best fit your budget and what you’re looking for. I have only good experiences the 3 or 4 dozen times I’ve stopped in. So if you’re gonna listen to anything hear this… great looking jewelry, fairly priced, carefully selected, thoughtfully presented and at prices you can afford. The people are the rarest gems in the place. Stop by and see for yourself. Don’t listen to me and certainly not to the sour grapes presented in some reviews. Evaluate for yourself and based on your own experience, stop by see what they have to offer, and you be the judge of how it’s presented. My guess is you’ll go back again, and again.

If it were possible to a give negative star rating for this business I would do it.
Cannot begin to explain the rude demeanor of the owner at so called pawn shop. My boyfriend came in to buy a piece of diamond jewelry from Neighborhood Pawn. My boyfriend, who has great knowledge about diamonds, trusted what the owner told him about the jewelry piece. When my boyfriend attempted to send the stones he purchased to EGL to get appraised we found out that they were enhanced diamonds, basically worthlesss. When we tried to return it to the owner he was EXTREMELY rude, reckless, despicable, and not to mention disrespectful! He blamed us for the stones being fake.
Would not recommend this pawn shop to my greatest enemy. There is a guarantee that you will not be treated with respect and manner, and lied to as a matter of fact!
I HIGHLY would not recommend! Unless you want to get scammed!

The guy had an attitude and took forever to get my product back to me. They also charge too much interest. I’ve been to much nicer pawn shops that loan more money.

This place is as good as it gets! Been coming here for 30+ years. The people here are more like a family, the minute you walk in the door you are welcomed by someone. Everyone is very knowledgeable, they have high end items, LV luggage, Chanel handbags and Rolex watches. GREAT jeweler in house for repairs. Fixed the shank on platinum ring beautifully. Always worth a stop in and look-​see, open late during Friday’s farmers market. Honest as they get, you won’t be disappointed!

Staff is always super friendly! The owner is a local and very nice! They give great prices on pawns and always are great about notifying when it’s almost up! I’ve been back 2 or 3 times! I highly suggest using them if you need to pawn something for a few months or even a year!
