Love this Nekter! Customer service is amazing and the store is always clean. Love the greenie and available bowls.

Takes WAY TOOOOOOOO LONG to get s smoothie… More than 15mins every time i come in. What a joke

I buy three bowl one pitaya and two acai for 23 dollars, my bowl not have strawberry and I ask the girl for one strawberry for my bowl and she say one dolar extra!!! i remember I good experience in same company in Encinitas they not have problem with gift me one strawberry for one bowl, of course I gift the tip in Encinitas, never again in this location.

Always yummy fresh made juices! The bowls are pretty awesome as well. Always ordering greenies!

Today was my first time here, and I loved it. It was my first time having an açai bowl. I ordered the banana berry açai bowl with hemp protein. That was delicious. The taste was so pleasant and I loved how fresh it was. They offer cold brew there as well as bottled drinks which I would love to try some day. I wish they had one of these close to where I live (Central California, near San Jose). The cashier was very helpful as I was indecisive (I wanted the banana berry or the tropical), she was also very kind and welcoming. Great great place.

Their smoothies are REALLY yummy. Like 1 buck more than jamba juice prices. Their strawberry banana bowl is good too since banzaii bowl is too far for me sometimes. My fave smoothies are Pink Flamingo & Banana Berry. It is a bit of a wait to get your order especially when its packed so I would def order ahead of time if possible since it’s made fresh. Parking is nuts here since starbucks is right next door.

I am not happy with the Nektar juice bar. This is the closest one near my home and I keep giving them another chance. I have gone in with a coupon that have not honored, twice! I saw a sign on the three day fast bag of juices I thought was a great deal and so I grabbed it to purchase. I was told at the register that the sign should of been taken down. They did not honor the posted price! I bought a juice today a mostly vegetable juice that was much too sweet. The color is the only hint there were veggies in it at all. I will not be going back to this Nektar on Margaurite. I did call the corporate offices of Nektar to voice my concerns. I was told to leave a message and my call would be answered in the order received by a return phone call. I did not receive a call at all. This company does not seem to be consumer friendly at all. I’m very disappointed. I have then two stars for the concept of juicing only! I am editing my review as I just received a phone call from the owner Shannon. I was able to give her my concerns and we talked about my issues. I felt like I was talking to a friend. Thank you Shannon. I will be heading back to this location and drinking your juice!

Juices are good. I used to come here all the time and get their pb bowl. One time I got their berry banana burst and it was absolutely horrible, it honestly tasted like dirt. Anyway, I racked up some stamps on the stamp card and acquired a free juice, smoothie or bowl. I stopped going for about a month and a half and I stopped in around a week ago and they told me I could not redeem my free item. I’m am outraged. Why have a promotion and not go through with it? Sounds like scam to me. Maybe nekter should get it together!

The Nektor employees need to show consistency with how they treat their customers. A couple customers got the «hello how are you» but most didn’t and I most certainly did not receive a greeting – as a matter of fact I was initially overlooked! Not cool! I left disappointed because this was not my experience at the Long Beach location! I won’t be returning to the Mission Viejo location. I’ve been pleased with making my cleanse purchases at Pressed Juicery at Newport! Sorry Nektor — you’ve lost a potential loyal customer! Customer service is everything!!!

Love the concept, would say that employees here are overall pretty friendly and helpful. Bowls are ok, cheaper than most places, but you get what you pay for. Also, person who I assume to be the manager at this location is not very personable. I downloaded the app that one of her employees recommended and it came with a free drink/​bowl/​smoothie. So I came to Nektar over Active Culture, Bonzai and Mothers to get my free bowl over quality, unfortunately the app didn’t work and her friendly employee tried her best but she (the manager) threw out this bitter attitude stating that corporate sent out an email claiming profit loss over the free purchase and there’s was nothing she could do to accommodate me. (When in fact they have $ 3 purchase coupons and a rewards program which I’ve been a part of.)
I might be over stepping here, but isn’t the customer in the right? Anyways, she’s easy to spot, very domineering and condescending in her approach to her employees.

Maybe I just don’t get the appeal. I really want to like places like this, but I can’t leave my taste buds at the door when I walk in. After hearing people rave about the acai bowls, I tried the banana acai bowl this morning. WHAT A RIP OFF. It had ½ a banana, 1 strawberry, and maybe 10 blueberries. So that’s about 25 cents of fruit, but the bowl cost $ 6.95. The granola was tasty, but the acai mix was not. And I LOVE acai drinks. Huge disappointment.
I also got a kid smoothie for my two year old. $ 3.95 for that small thing — another rip off. And he took two sips before he decided it didn’t taste good. I tasted it and mostly it was just not very flavorful.

I am truly excited now they have two type of protein options whey and hemp to make it more of a meal replacement option! Also they offer Chia seeds which I am a fanatic. So today going to add Chia seeds to my Popeye Acai Smoothie with blueberries. Can’t wait to taste it, anticipating it will be bliss!

Great juice bar and an even better price. I basically got the same green drink I get at wholefoods for $ 7.99 for $ 4.99 and I only waited 5 minutes, not 30. I love the concept and the place was clean and efficient. I will be back.

This place is kind of a sh#t show. They are incredibly slow. Most Nekters that I’ve been to are on the slow side, but this one takes the cake.
Today they are only serving you if you have cash… no explanation of why.
As for Nekter in general, the juice is pretty tasty. They are definitely on the pricey side and don’t use organic produce? I would happily pay their prices if they were using organic, quality produce. Not my first choice juice bar, but it works in a pinch… if you have time to wait.

I instantly became a fan the second I took a sip of their tropical cooler smoothie.
I even went as far as to purchase their plastic, refillable cup. It comes with a free drink at purchase and when you refill it, they give a discount.
I get a smoothie roughly once a week, but only during my lunch break. They do take a really long time and sometimes the wait is 20+ minutes. I think my shortest wait was 10 minutes, when I went at about 2:30pm.
I usually go in and order my smoothie, then leave and grab lunch (to-​go) at a place nearby. When I get back, I usually only have a to wait roughly 5 minutes for my smoothie to be done. This is the only reason I took away a star. If they weren’t as slow, I would have given them 5 stars.

I’m a huge fan of fresh, cold-​pressed juices so whenever I run into a place like Nekter, I have to stop. I was actually no my way to Starbucks on Marguerite to grab a bottle of their Evolution Fresh Sweet Greens, so when I saw Nekter right next door, the choice was simple.
They have a variety of juices, smoothies, and bowls, and some shots as well. Everything is prepared fresh, with the exception of the grab and go items in the refrigerated case, so if it’s busy, you may have to wait awhile. When I arrived there were about four people in front of me and it took about 15 minutes for my order to come.
Since I had Sweet Greens on my mind, I opted for a 24 ounce «Greenie,» their signature drink that features parsley, spinach, kale, celery, cucumber, lemon and apple. I told them that I really didn’t want anything sweet and they assured me that the Greenie would fit the bill. It was $ 6.95, about the same as the 16 ounce Sweet Greens. It was light and refreshing with a strong veggie taste cut by the acidity of the lemon. I could not taste the apple at all. In fact, what really stood out was the lemon. From a flavor standpoint, I think I still prefer the taste of Sweet Greens, though from a freshness standpoint, hands-​down — the Greenie was the winner. I would definitely come back for it. The only downside is that Nekter does not use organic produce.
TIP: 24 ounce is a LOT of juice. I’ll probably stick with 16 ounces in the future.

I had come here previously and had given this particular Nekter a bad review. So being in the area, I decided to give them another shot. My family and I ordered the following:
–Toxin flush: Pretty good! has a bit of kick to it due to the ginger but more importantly, it definitely works! My stomach definitely felt much more… Active to say the least.
–The Cure: Much more fruity than my usual Green Machine but I really enjoyed it!
–Pink Flamingo: tastes like tropical heaven! It was an extremely hot day when I got this and it was the perfect cool-​down beverage! Plus I loved the hot pink color of the drink!
–Acai banana berry bowl: definitely a must try! They made it very smooth and creamy and it was neither too sweet nor sour! Also the type of granola they use is the perfect balance of crunchy and chewy!
I’m so glad I gave this Nekter another chance because it is very conveniently located and I’m back to being a loyal customer.

UPDATE! I had a not so sweet visit to this location a few times, but I am a creature of habit and I need my bi-​weekly intake of Nekter, so I kept coming into this location. Fortunately for me, the owner is brilliant and now has the best girl to work the register/​be their shift leader. Kelly is the first fresh face you see when you walk into the store. She greets everyone with the warmest «hello» and welcoming smile. My go to is the pitaya bowl and the toxin flush, and I share it with my sister because they are large portions.
Kelly’s vibes saved this location in my eyes!

Great fresh smoothies with all real ingredients!
Decided to visit after getting a $ 2 off coupon a 24oz smoothie. The menu is small but there is a «make your own» option too, so the possibilities are endless! I decided on the Berry Banana Blast and it was ready for me in about 6 minutes. Service was adequate but a little indifferent. My smoothie however was delicious! You can really taste each individual ingredient which I really appreciate. Overall, smoothies are great but service could use some enthusiasm !

Tried this place for the first time today. I had the popeye smoothie which was excellent! The menu was simple and easy to choose from.
I wasn’t prepared to wait 20 minutes for my drink. The girls that work there were super slow and there were only 3 people in front of me. They were polite though.
I will definitely go back. The smoothie was really filling and delicious!
