Loved this place before the remodel, now it is even better. There is a pool table. There are a few pinball machines and a crane game with stands for you to put your drink or pizza on. The BBQ Chicken pizza is to die for. I drive from the Midway in St. Paul to W Lake Street for this pizza. The All-American Special(aka cheeseburger pizza) is really good. I wish there was more beef on it but I would definitely get it again. This is also the ONLY pizza place anyone from my work will get pizza from. Uptown Pizza was a contender but Dulono’s pizza is still good cold while Uptown’s is not, and that is a deal-breaker at my office. The pizza is a bit pricey like the Luce-range, but unlike Pizza Luce, they cook their pizza completely and I never have to bite into raw dough. The extra large 16″ BBQ chicken pizza is about $ 25.00 but it is super tasty compared to all other mom and pop pizza places around. You get parmesan and crushed red pepper packets with your order. The mozzarella sticks could have been a lot better. For $ 7.30 you get a lot of them but they are similar to Arby’s mozz sticks so… not what I was hoping for. However, crappy mozz sticks shouldn’t keep you away. Forget the mozzarella sticks, just don’t order them, everything else about this place is awesome.

I didn’t get a chance to experience their full menu, but I can tell you that it is incredibly difficult to find restaurants that sell breaded cauliflower with cheese sauce. When I’ve been pregnant, I’ve craved this more than anything else, and my poor husband had to go on a breaded cauliflower hunt, and return with no results Finally found a resaurant that carries it, and it is fantastic! Thanks, and I will definitely be returning for this excellent appetizer. Only negative I’ve found is that they should have more gluten free pizza options for cheaper prices, but it is what it is. Also the online ordering seems to be having some major problems. Overall loving the place though.

Great pizza! We had the Ghostfire without the chicken. It was quite delicious. I was pretty satisfied with the drinks on tap as well. The only thing holding it back from 5 stars was the service; it took a while to get our order in as well as our check. I’ll still come back for the pizza though!

The pizza is good but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The order took a ton of time to place over the phone — it sounded like the person placing the order wasn’t paying attention and we had to recite the credit card number multiple times, which isn’t really great for peace of mind. We ordered the Loaded Jojos and they came with absolutely no cheese on them. When we called we were told the options were they could bring over a cup of cheese or nothing. The chips were already cold and the excessive amount of jalapeños had already soaked in, leaving an unpleasant taste. When we said the potatoes were already cold and could we just get a refund we were told no. When you screw up an order that badly, you should either offer to replace it entirely or refund it. A cup of cheese that would be half-solid and cold by the time it got here wouldn’t solve it. I’m very disappointed.

Solid pizza, crust was floppy but toppings seemed to be quality. Would recommend if mediocre pizza is your thing.

Excellent neighborhood pizza bar. Really crispy thin crust! Nice pizza and appetizer options! Seems busy there all the time when I go. Live music at night. Two for ones all day!

Super delicious pizza! Probably the best in the area. Way better than those hoity toity guys up the street(you know who I’m talking about!). If you get delivery and Jordan is your driver, give him extra. He’s fantastic.

Since moving to Minneapolis recently, I have had the pleasure of partaking in Duolono’s buffet. The buffet is incredibly well priced, includes a bev, impeccably well-stocked with a variety of pizza flavor offerings up to and even after the technical end time with pasta marinara, salad, garlic bread, sub sandwich, and blondies. At time of writing, there were 5 different pizza options, including an all vegetable for the vegetarian folks, to satisfy all palates with a variety of sauces all on Dulono’s perfect thin crust. One pizza had a barbecue sauce which was sweet and saucy topped with chicken. Unlike most pizza where the crust gets left on the plate like the proverbial red-headed step-child, the characteristic Dulono’s crust has a nice crispness with air bubbles that pop while chewing giving it an additional unique texture experience. The garlic bread is remarkable with a loaded flavor of garlic and possibly crack as I had to force myself to stop at 2 pieces to save room for the feature presentation(pizza) when I could’ve easily ate half the pan by myself. The salad bar is fresh with very nice presentation and 6 different dressing options. An added, unexpected treat was the sub sandwiches. This is the first pizza buffet I’ve ever been too that offers a sandwich of any kind and its outstanding. To sum it up, you can’t go wrong with the Dulono’s buffet because«You know you want it»!

Nope Sorry ordered from here earlier this week and it was disgusting. From the moment the Dulono’s driver handed me our pizza I knew it was going to be bad. To start it smelled like a 14 year old boy that just got done with Gym Class. The Pizza wasn’t cooked all the way I ended up having to put the pizza on my Pizza Maker to cook it correctly which took forever because they had so many toppings on the Pizza you couldn’t even see the cheese. Worst Pizza mistake I’ve ever made. I’ll stick to Galactic from now on.

Comfortable, tasty pizza, cold beer, and the very friendly waitress got pizza w/o meat for the buffet for me. Awesome. It’d be five stars if the buffet price included a discount for beer(soft drinks are included). Then again, it was two-for-one beer, so maybe it SHOULD be five stars, who knows.

The pizza here was amazing! The atmosphere is more similar to a dive bar but it is nice they have live music and a pool table. We ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza and Ghost Pepper Hellfire Pizza. The Chicken Bacon Ranch was pretty good with the ranch sauce, which made it different. I am not good with spicy food much and I loved the Ghost Pepper Hellfire Pizza. It had just enough of a kick but wasn’t over the top. I would definitely go back for that pizza! They are a little more expensive(similar to Luce or Galactic) so I wouldn’t come here too often but it was a good, casual location with pizza that was very good, especially the specialty pizzas.

I really wanted to like this pizza place! I just wanted a good to great pepperoni pizza. Nothing fancy! Delivery took over an hour. The pizza arrived cold. The sauce is salty, awful and had the same look as tomato paste. I really expected more for what it’s priced at. EDIT: Amended the review from one star to two, because I called and spoke with a manager who was willing to send out a hot pizza. I still don’t think we’ll order again, though. :(

Worst customer service experience ever! Safe to say I’ve been ordering food there over 8 years. The pizza was always great until yesterday. The thin crust was hardly considered that and there was unmentioned bacon in a fried broccoli meal I ordered that I didn’t see until I bit into it, which isn’t a fun surprise for someone who can’t eat pork. When I called to get help I couldn’t even finish talking before I was cut off and told it was pretty much my fault. The«assistant manager» Richard couldn’t have been any less rude in helping me resolve the matter(by the way which he didn’t) and gave many snarky remarks in between, didn’t even apologize. Basically said he couldn’t do anything and hope for the best with working it out with the general manager. I will never recommend this place to any of my friends ever again

Dulano’s is flawless And I refuse to believe that The new manager(Jerad G.) sounds ridiculous in his responses to Unilocalers All one and two star reviewers on this page are wrong It is foolish to think that Dulano’s is not the best pizzeria on the face of earth * Read my review in reverse. I had to write it in code, after I saw the manager’s comments on other Unilocalers’ negative feedback! But all jokes aside, Dulano’s is good. I like the new improved interior. The pizza hasn’t changed much and the appetizers arrived quickly.

So I’ve come here on and off for years, but more off than on because I haven’t always lived close by. Well I hope the crew digs me because I have bad news for them. I now love in the hood and they have decent beer on tap. I’ve no doubt I’ll be a regular in no time. I shouldn’t tell you this because I don’t want my best kept secret in Lyn Lake to become a tourist attraction but I’m going to trust you to only give super awesome, deal deservin, pizza lovin, fat tippin folks this important detail. All. The. Beer. Is. 2. For. 1. Always. If they are open, that’s the deal. Bottle, can, and tap. And their tap selection, while not mind blowing, is solid. The only mainstream pilsner is Mich. Golden Lt. Everything else is craft, local, or both. Oh and they have a parking lot. Not a lot of places nearby do. And they deliver to pretty much the entire southwest area of Mpls. And if all that isn’t enough, their pizza is delicious. And the garlic cheese bread.

Lived in the neighborhood for 14 years and these guys are the go-to for pizza night. I’d rather pay $ 5 more than order a dominos or papa johns. Always hot, always fresh. We make it a point to order anytime we have the family in town and everyone loves them. The amount of cheese makes any Scony feel right at home and they have a slightly spicy pepperoni that I have yet to find a comparison to. Can’t say enough good things about them.

A couple weeks ago, I tried their pizza for the first time. I ordered delivery on their website. This place won me over as a customer. I am happy with how everything turned out at the end. The website was easy to find and easy to access. Everything on there was easy to understand. I was able to complete my order in about five minutes. I like that there is a good selection from which to choose. I also like that there is an option to type in any special requests I may have. The delivery guy was good at meeting those special requests I had. I ordered the meat lovers pizza. The order came to me about the same time as they originally predicted. The pizza was delicious, and it came to me fresh and hot. The delivery guy was personal and friendly. Anytime I am in the mood for a good pizza delivered to my house, I will continue to keep this place in mind. One of these days, I will have to check out the inside of the place.

It’s been decades since I last went to Dulano’s, and it might be decades again. I went for their lunch buffet. They had just raised the price, and didn’t tell me. What would have been okay at $ 7.99 was overpriced at $ 9.99. In theory, the lunch buffet now comes with a drink, but the neither the hostess nor the water bothered to mention that to me so I didn’t order one and despite the web site having the old price, they charged me the new price(and included a drink on the tab). For the first time in ages, I didn’t leave a tip. The buffet itself was okay: an ever changing array of below-average pizza, some other Italian stuff and a small salad bar. The staff was attentive, if not helpful about the new pricing; regulars I talked to were surprised as well. Still, a three star review gets bumped down to a two star review for the lack of communication. What else aren’t they telling us?

My wife and I had a Living Social for a large pizza, an appetizer, and two beers. I started off with an Odell’s Isolation Ale. A winter warmer, which is quite good. I wanted to sub a salad for the appetizer but the system wouldn’t run it, so I went with the breaded cauliflower. They came out about 5 minutes later. They were pretty awesome, not super flavorful, but a solid bar appetizer. The pizza came out with my second beer, a Surly Furious. Heaven! The pizza I got was the ghost pepper pizza with no cheese except for a litte ghost pepper cheese. The chicken and other toppings were top notch on a perfect crispy thin crust with a spicy special sauce. Awesome! I finished off half the pizza and our fantastic server brought me an extra Isolation beer because the furious took a long time to get there. The atmosphere was a wonderful 1957 feel from the year they opened in Uptown. They also had a lunch buffet going on, which many of the patrons were partaking in. Loved the pizza, the beer, and the service. Almost a 5 star!

Two stars because of the environment and service. You’re supposed to seat yourself but there’s no signage indicating that, so you just walk in and get stared at awkwardly until you assume you should sit somewhere and hope a server notices you’re there. The dining room is pretty dumpy and gross. Most of the servers walking around looked super negative which made it seem like the customers were a bother. HOWEVER, the pepperoni pizza was absolutely delicious. DELICIOUS. Some day I’ll probably go back for it and enjoy it while I cringe at all the other details.
