Cash only! Cheap beer, but small selection. They generally keep old-school Wisconsin beers on tap(Schlitz, Old Milwaukee, etc.), but you can get bottles of things like Point and Blue Moon. That being said, I truly love Bruno’s for their jukebox. All the great hits, but nothing newer than late 80’s/early 90’s. 5 plays for $ 1. You can also get a bag bar snacks for $ 1. The owners are really nice too, especially Jackie!

A nice, quiet dive-y oasis on Brady St. I usually sneak in here when I’m early to meeting friends in the neighborhood(or desperately trying to ditch them, depending on the night). They don’t have a lot of taps, but they have the good stuff, including Riverwest Stein and Blatz. Everything is very reasonably priced. Bartenders are always friendly and chit chat with you over whatever randomness is on the television. Very laid-back, quiet and classic.

Had the bar to ourselves when we watched the Badger football game. Definitely an old time Wisconsin feel with the owner/bartender to give us commentary the whole time. A crazy, fun time warp.

This is a hidden gem of Brady St and Milwaukee. Once you step in, you’ll think you took a step back in time. The bartenders are a couple that owns it, the Brunos. The juke box is filled with classics like Johnny Cash so you won”t be stuck listening toTaylor Swift or Justin Bieber. When you stop in, be sure to bring cash, no credit cards accepted.

Rolled in to bruno’s at 11am on a weekday. Watched discovery channel with the bartender and some old barfly nursing a pbr can. Good times. Super rad spot without a hint of irony. Milwaukee is a good drinking town & this spot ranks up there.

Fantastic Place, if you like to drink, don’t need food or the hoity toityness of some places! What you’ll get here are good drinks, good prices and good times if you just sit back and listen. Would recommend for all those who want to see a place that put the«D» into Dive Bar, and love IT!

Oh, jeebus this place is great! My bro-in-law and I were up from Chicago for the day and tried to hit places we’d never seen all over MKE and this was one of the best. A time machine of a bar, we hit this place mid-day and encountered the most entertaining group of regulars imaginable. One guy took out his teeth and played a harmonica while another guy sang. The barkeep ribbed my bro-in-law playfully and kept me laughing from the gut the entire time. Go there with an open mind and a non-judgmental attitude and you’ll love it here!

I dont’ get it. There’s tons and tons and tons of people on Brady street, and everyone avoids this bar like the plague! What’s the deal Milwaukee? What do you know that my friends and I don’t? Two nights in a row spent here, I rocked the dart board. I could live without«Mr. Creepy let me show you the proper stance for throwing darts». Regardless, $ 2.50 Lone Stars, cool dog in the bar, great jukebox, awesome time!

This place is a time warp. You will either love it or leave it a few minutes after you walk in the door. I always expect to see Archie Bunker, Tom Waits and Charles Bukowski sharing a pitcher but not the tab.
