I live just down the road, it’s always relaxed and the staff is very very professional. Always chatty and friendly and it’s a working mans bar and the atmosphere is friendly. Pool tables are always good and the people that come here work hard and play harder! Weekends are always fun to socialize. Love this place it’s my hometown bar. Thanks buds

The worse service in Milton! We had a party of 15 and they chose to discriminate against one person in our party! And when we talk to management they were not willing to resolve our problem. I have been going to Buds for twenty years and I will never give them my business again! I am really disappointed on the way they handle us!

We order Buds«famous chicken and joes,» for dinner last night and let’s just say we won’t be ordering from there again. I’m pretty sure this place has NEVER heard of seasoning. Not one sprinkle of salt, garlic salt, pepper… nothing! It was very bland, even the onion rings had no seasoning. I’ve been a waitress for years, I’ve seen chicken and joes cooked many of times, you ALWAYS season your flour! Sad since we love«bar chicken and joes» every once in awhile. Guess we’ll be looking elsewhere.

Came in on a Thursday night at 1045pm, and it was just a few people. They were SO loud. We ordered drinks. When we got our drinks, I asked about bar food. The waitress looked at the clock, scrunched up her face, and said the kitchen is closed. Bars ALWAYS have some sort of food available as long as they are serving drinks. Not going back. Ever.

Buds is a locals only kind of place, I’m not implying you will be treated differently if you’re not from Milton it’s just the locals bar. The waitress will quickly remember your face if you come back and I’ve never had bad service here, the food has always been good and it’s bar food not gourmet people. Tacos on Tuesday are good as well, I only gave it 4 instead of five due to an extremely outdated and battered interior, this place need some renovation and it could greatly benefit from that.

Great food specials! Service was very good. This place is Milton’s equivilant to Cheers.

If you’re expecting something more than a roadhouse atmosphere, then you won’t get the charm of Buds. I’ve been here several times, mostly dancing, but have also had dinner here. Here’s what makes Buds one of my favorite spots: 1– It’s friendly. Seriously, the staff and the patrons are super welcoming and just nice. 2. The dance floor is open, and friendly. If you just want to dance and not deal with some big casino or irritating poseurs, this is your place. 3. The food is really good. Don’t let appearances fool you. I’ve never been disappointed by the food here. 4. It’s low key. You can come in and sink into one of the booths(which are SO old school!) and have dinner, or you can play pool. It’s just really relaxed. I find myself driving out of the way to come here because it’s welcoming, and hassle-free. And welcoming…

Only go if you like rude waitresses and crappy food. Our waitress seemed annoyed when we asked for sour cream. It was dead when we went but I can see why, no one wants to go to a place where the food is mediocre and the service is lame.

Lots of fried food. Bartender had never seen a new $ 100 bill and thought it was fake. Ownership is issue as is the case when people buy a name but don’t understand locals.

Absolutely the worst food that has ever been put in front of me. There were 4 people in our party on 10÷9÷2014, we all ordered the prime rib. When we got it, the meat was grey and the fat was awful looking, To me it looked like they boiled it to reheat? The meat had a consistency of pudding and looked like wet bread when cut into, it was defiantly off. They say that their broccoli is the best ever? It’s microwaved and my broccoli was literally rotten inside. We told the waitress and she had to talk to the bar tender about what to do. The only option we were given was, they were giving us rib eyes instead because they were the same price. The waitress said that she needed the prime rib to put into a bag for the owner to look at. I guess, because our word was not good enough that it was off. We got our steaks two of them were well over done and two of them were grey. I as a consumer was/am so upset on how we were treated I feel like I was stolen from no one wanted to eat anything after the prime rib experience and then to force us to have steaks just so thy didn’t lose out on what it cost. Horrible food horrible management. Also to top it off, the baked potatoes were not cooked

An All American Honky Tonk neighborhood bar. Waitresses could not be nicer. Food is by no means gourmet, but always pretty good. Portions and prices are good. It is the perfect place to step in to if you just want to go to a bar or catch a game.

Went here for a Seahawks game — only one server for the entire side of the bar with tables… She was nice enough but only having one server for that big of an area meant we waited allllllooooonnnngggg time for beers. Food was OK. Wish there were more TVs to watch — overall 3 stars.

0 stars! Worst service I’ve ever experienced! Horribly rude waitresses. My friend cleared a filthy table so we could sit and the staff completely ignored her. Higher drink prices than average. Never coming back!

I had been here a few times for just beer but I never tried the food. I few years ago I heard they had a rib night that was pretty good so we had to give the food a try. It was Friday and my wife wanted to see some live music and get a good steak. We got neither. Live music is only on Saturday nights. I ordered an onion burger with fries which was pretty good. The patty was not handmade but it wasn’t the superthin costco patty either. Meg ordered a NY steak medium rare. She got a salad that was fresh and pretty large. The steak was not a NY cut. It looked like round steak. And… it was well done… no pink and very dark. It was seasoned well so she ate most of it but when the waitress came to pick up our plates, we mentioned that the steak wasn’t medium rare. She gave us a free glass of wine. It was a little later in the night so most people had already eaten. The cook was standing in the doorway of the kitchen and I could see the waitress show our overcooked steak to him. He did not seem pleased. Later, when we were walking out, he glared at us. I don’t quite understand this. It is not our fault that he doesn’t know how to cook a steak… We didn’t make a fuss. This place is pretty big and would be a good place to meet friends or see a band but now we know to stay away from the steaks.

Since the closure of another fine establishment in Milton, Buds is about the only choice left for a true bar/pub. I really have no complaints, but suggest that a new, lighter paint job could do wonders, not to mention some un-shaded windows. Updated fixtures in the men’s room might alleviate that public restroom urine smell. The joint is in dire need of some Class.

Went here to visit a friends parents who play in a pool league. We always try and meet up with them every couple of weeks. We get to watch some pretty good pool players and see bars we might never walk into. This night was Buds in Milton. I’ve driven by the place a hundred times on the way to the skate park down the street, so was familiar with the location. Parking kind of sucked, I guess it was the last match of the year, so the place was packed. Inside was pretty wide open. Well, it would be pretty wide open on a regular night. Four tables, I think 50 cents a game. Couple arcade games, couple dart boards. One pinball machine, cue ball wizard. I know it’s a pool game with a couple of actual balls inside the game. The machine itself was in a decent shape minus the plunger. The plunger was really bad, needed some serious work. Tilt was about mid, got caught a couple of times. Reply is reasonable, got a few. Matches were probably around 80%. Burgers looked good, fries tasted good, and the water was good. Didn’t get anything. Cue Ball Wizard:
