Came here after work for a few drinks and snacks, ended up ordering way too much food. It was my first time here and I would have to say that the food is average American chain food restaurant food. The drinks are weak and the food is heavy. I will say our server was great, very prompt and polite. I would return for the service and the biscuits.

This is the Red Lobster closest to my office in Milpitas we came here for a friend’s going away lunch. The service was spotty at first but once we finally found our server she was very good and friendly. She kept the biscuits coming and our water glasses full. Very important part of waitressing. I wish I had gotten her name. The lunch special pick two was very good for $ 11.99 it came with two seafood options, a side salad, and a side dish. Super yummy and super filling. If it the garlic grilled shrimp and the scallops something or other. I would recommend the shrimp but not the scallops. They were bay scallops even drenched in the butter sauce they were rubbery and kinda dry. I keep coming back for the biscuits though… So a-ok in my book.

My parents came here on a date night. They both have their busy lives and tonight was one of those days they had time to treat themselves out. Poor service! I was so heartbroken to hear about my parents experience! Who has the right mind to be RUDE to an elderly couple? I believe her name was Kristy that served my parents. Very poor service. I’d give this place –5 stars

Our server was great, but the blonde guy on duty on Saturday, Mar 12 at noon was not. Normally i would let it slide, but i asked for a box and he said, «I’ll be right back.» He then continued to the waiter station and asked his buddy if they were going to a party that night. Considering the restaurant wasn’t busy, i could hear their convo. Needless to say, they kept talking about the party and never came back. I went to get the box myself. If you’re too busy to help your guests, maybe you should reconsider your occupation of choice… Sorry to inconvenience you at work with a restaurant request…

3 stars for the biscuits alone! unfortunately, it doesn’t move from there. their main dishes range from average at best to overcooked and overseasoned seafood. i see live lobsters in the tank so there really is no reason to overcook nor oversalt the lobster tails, yet Red Lobster consistently does both. same for their shrimp and scallops. this leads me to believe that this is a chain-wide problem, probably resulting from catering to middle american(non-existent) taste buds. i like the admiral’s feast, ultimate feast, or the bar harbor bake, but they all suffer from some degree of the above poor preparation. so why do i come here, other than the cheese and smack-filled biscuits? let’s call it sentimentality. when i was a wee lad, and my parents struggling immigrants, every family celebration meant 1 of 2 restaurants to host our festive meals — Red Lobster, or Ponderosa. i like to come to Red Lobster every so often for a birthday or some such as a reminder of where I came from. on the plus side, i had excellent service at this red lobster! the server clearly saw how much i loved their delectable biscuits and gave me a bag extra on my way out! ok, you win Red Lobster, you can keep the 3 stars.

First time coming to this location and let me say it was overall a great experience. Although it was a long waiting list in front of my date and I… I was amazed of how fast they say is down. We only waited about 10 minutes maybe because we are just two anyhow the waiter was really polite and our food came out fast too after being sat down … Most importantly it was Bombay!!! I highly recommend this place it’s better than others I have been too.(The reason for the 4stars and not 5 is because the waiter forgot to come by and ask my date if he’d like another)

Your review helps others learn about great local businesses. My wife and I went to celebrate a special occasion. We had Jordan R as a server and he made the visit great. He was able to help us pick out our meals with his knowledge and experience of the menu. He made us laugh and was attentive to our needs. We will definitely be back and ask for him. Please don’t review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you’re connected in any way to the owner or employees.

This is a dependable restaurant, and I feel like I always get what I expect, although it never blows me away. I recommend ordering what’s on special(crab during Crabfest, shrimp during Endless Shrimp, etc.) for the best deals and choice of flavors. As everyone else attests, the Cheddar Bay biscuits are amazing and you should eat them while warm! The portions aren’t super huge, but I’m usually pretty full by the time I get to my main meal due to the biscuits and salad that comes with most of the entrees. Still, I almost always have enough for lunch the next day!

This was my first time ever trying a Red Lobster. Had been given a gift card, so my husband and I decided to use it today at this location. It’s large, clean, and a great place for a date. My husband had ordered the wood-grilled lobster, shrimp, and salmon plate and I chose the shrimp linguine. We ordered a mushroom and lobster appetizer, but it never came out. We didn’t realize this until after we got our bill because in place of our salads, we chose soup– lobster bisque and clam chowder. This and their complimentary biscuits got us so full we totally forgot about the appetizers. Thankfully it didn’t come out because it would’ve just been too much food for the both of us. Plus, the free biscuits they offer are awesome.

Well. Our waitress was kind of off. I guess Val was having a bad day? She was nowhere to be found during portions of our meal and never came back to pick up the second check for bill processing. As soon as she recorded our drink orders and a friend’s side salad request in lieu of an actual meal, she left abruptly without a word. She did refill our waters during the last half of the visit and brought out fresh cheddar bay biscuits at least twice. Food wise, hits the spot if fresh fish cravings hit! For some reason, I kept imagining grilled white fish and rice pilaf. A half portion of simply grilled rainbow trout with fresh lemon squeeze sure did the trick. For those who like more flavor, try pineapple salsa or crab stuffing. They can blacken or fry the fish too. Speaking of fry, my friend got the all deep fried Admiral’s Feast with wild flounder, clam strips, bay scallops, and butterflied shrimp with some broccoli and choice of side. They ran out of the roasted Brussels sprouts so she got mashed potatoes on a whim. The stuffed mushrooms had a sweeter taste, probably due to some crab filling. I prefer just clam stuffing at Olive Garden. Texture and gooeyness factor was A-ok. Cheddar bay biscuits! 3 full baskets of savory fragile carbs sat atop our table tonight, one refill at a time. I love the Caesar salad here. Dressing is so good. I’d skip the crispy shrimp lettuce wraps. They were too sweet and some of the fried coating slipped off the shrimp because of the sticky sauce. The lettuce wasn’t individually separated and stuck to the base. Now that I think of it, one of us got the 4 course Monday-Thursday Feast for $ 17.99, which includes soup, salad, limited choice of entrée, and dessert. I don’t think we ever got that dessert, unless they packed it up in the to go order one of us got. This location is large with lots of compartmentalization, almost seems like a real deep blue sea vessel! I’ve only ever been to the Fremont location but this one tops it. Front entrance is all the way around near the street. No wait on a Wednesday night, empty waiting area and didn’t seem too busy. Even the secluded bar towards the front gives off this sophisticated vibe of an escape from more lively decks up above on an imaginary ship.

It wasn’t bad but was expecting more as its a national chain. The dishes flavors were average. The endless shrimp Promo features I think five options, but you choose 2 to start, if you get refills, I was offered the same but he said I could try another, so that was nice. The restaurant was rather empty, service was friendly but a teeny bit slow. But we came late and think waiter had 4 – 5 tables to tend. But he was very courteous. Red lobster definetly is not cheap, but more on the above average pricing. Two dishes of lobster Alfredo and current endless shrimp promo with one peach ice tea(free refills) was $ 51.xx. Oh and don’t forget there endless cheddar bay biscuits, which btw I have seen at my local grocery store, you can buy the box mix and bake at home. :) Not sure if I crave to go back anytime soon, but since they are open later and if hankering for seafood, I’ll keep them in mind.

Since my last visit a year ago, the service at this Red Lobster location has dramatically improved. I came here for lunch twice this week, and the wait staff has been very quick on both visits, and more than attentive. I always like their lunch specials — shrimp salad and a cup of soup for $ 7.99? Good deal. Today I tried one of their Quick Lunch entrees, the shrimp skewer entrée with rice pilaf and broccoli — 16 large succulent shrimps on two skewers! And for just $ 8.99 — that’s quite a good deal. I left the restaurant feeling happy about the bill, and more than satisfied for my appetite. Will most definitely be back!

Truly amazing birthday meal. The or’dervs were fast hot and delishous. Steak and Lobster were perfect about $ 27, Three taco snack $ 6.99, and wood grill shrimp and samon $ 17.99. The birthday cup cakes were from @whipedsweetandtreats. They wre cherry topped and truly to die for. You cant beat it for quality speed and convience.

I haven’t stepped into a Red Lobster for about 9 years and now I remember why. The girl servers in the bar were friendly and fairly attentive. Lobster was cooked well but the sad part is it came out about 15 min after the other entrees in our party. The staff made a comment, «you’re not eating?» and didn’t actually go back an check on my meal until the second time I asked about it. The food isn’t good enough to seek out in the future, plus I can get booze cheaper at Safeway. :)

Haven’t been to this location in years, and I’m glad I came because the food was amazing & the service was pretty awesome! Upon arrival, my fam. & I were were greeted immediately by the Manager(?) & the hostess in the front. First, I had asked for two booster seats, only to switch one booster to a high chair instead. The request was done quickly with a smile which was nice. My toddler nephew was running all over the place, but not once were we told to keep him put or given rude service at all despite of that. In fact, everybody there was all smiles, even though it was near closing time. Our server(didn’t catch her name) and her trainee Jordan were super cool and very knowledgeable about the menu items and were quick to answer any questions we had. Minus one star for my sister’s drink coming in way later than everyone else’s drinks(mind you, all were non-alcoholic & nothing fancy that would take up too much time to bring out). Also, everyone’s plates came out different times & they also forgot my sister’s plate. They made up for this by giving us a complimentary dessert, and they also packed us a lot of bags of Cheddar Bay Biscuits to take home. Overall, everyone enjoyed their food and the service was great. My mom did mention that the potatoes and biscuits were too salty for her taste buds though. I would just suggest that they improve more on being consistent when bringing everyone’s meals/drinks out at the same time. The special Lobsterfest menu item I opted for was super delish, but I was so full from eating one biscuit that I just decided to take it home. I also asked for my steak to be cooked Medium Well, and it was just perfect! I’d definitely come back here and recommend this place to all you Lobster/Seafood lovers out there.

PARKING: outside free parking shared with the outside shopping plaza. INSIDE: your typical Red Lobster décor. Bar is located to the right after you walk in. TVs are there if you want to watch sports. They have huge Margarita’s with a shot hanging from a cup on the side so you can pour it in yourself, but it wasn’t that strong. FOOD: like another review mentioned, the clam chowder is just okay. For being a seafood place, you would think their clam chowder would be better WITH some actual clams in it, but I did not find any except for potato chunks. Cheddar biscuits are really good I must admit especially when they are fresh and warm. Their food overall is ok, nothing absolutely high quality like a high quality restaurant, but it is a chain so I guess I shouldn’t expect too much. Their dessert like the cheese cake was obviously pre-bought and shipped to them from somewhere else. I think I can buy a better cheese cake from Costco. They put it in a to go container, but they didn’t even drizzle caramel over it or any garnish like most restaurants still do when you ask for the dessert to go. CUSTOMERSERVICE: I’ve never had a problem with customer service here.
