Love this place. I’m in love with their yogurt. Have it almost everyday during the summer. The owner is nice and friendly. Why not love it!

This place is one of the only frozen yogurt places in southern Marin. The location is good and the prices are right. The yogurt is tasty and they have a good selection of toppings. My only complaint here is the staff. And this place probably would’ve gotten a 5 star review if it wasn’t for the staff. I guess the owner likes to hire high school kids for cheap. But most of them have no customer service skills and you are pretty likely to interrupt their text messaging or Instagram posting and they act as if ringing you up is an annoyance that interrupts their social life. Speaking of their social life, they often invite their friends there to hang out with them and when you enter, you’re made to feel like you’re crashing their party instead of a welcome customer. This place has potential but needs a staff overhaul. Until that happens, swirl will not be my first choice in fro yo.(And I eat fro yo a lot!)

Frozen treats and add ins are very tasty. But don’t try to order or stay past 9pm. We entered. Had our treats and were close to being done when at precisely 9pm we were told the store was closed and we should leave. Two other couples were asked to leave at the same time. I think a bit of staff training is in order. I assume they get paid to allow customers to finish their desserts.

The positives: it’s frozen yogurt & they use Strauss. Otherwise, the flavors are pretty bland. Last time we stopped there, I felt robbed because it was so unenjoyable. The staff is nothing to write home about. They show up, they ring you up, they chat amongst themselves… Meh.

I had the toasted almond. It was creamy and tasted like almond butter and vanilla. As I was walking out I thought I overheard someone ordering Turkish coffee flavor. I was thinking to myself that I must have misheard. I started to contemplate what a great idea that was and began to imagine what it would taste like. I turned around and went back to counter to double-check and there it was, a full tub of Turkish coffee flavor gelato barely touched. I asked for a sample and it was better tasting than I imagined. I’ll give it a shot next time I pass through.

My children love this place, and I don’t understand why. The flavors are pretty Bla and never seem to evolve into anything exceptional. Granted the topping selection is enormous, however its basically a chemical/synthetic nightmare. What annoys me most when coming here… the lack of customer service. The young kids working the till seem too put out to say hello or thank you. They get annoyed when you ask them for a sample cup. They make grimaces if you pay with a credit card, and they practically shake the tip jar at you. Maybe if they took time to give decent customer service and act less entitled, one might be more convinced they are somewhat working and deserving of a tip. Just Sayin’

Yea… MEH… not very thrilled with this place. The flavors were decent, and came out runny. It started to melt right away, and it was only 70 degrees outside. Bare interiors and the staff was less than friendly. I would rather grab something from Whole Foods.

last night, before MTC’s play commenced, we moseyed on over and hit up the froyo machines… Lemme make it super simple for you SALTEDBUTTERPECAN MANGOPASSIONSORBET BANANATART need not even sample anything(yes, they r avail) if you follow my lead. I don’t lead astray the faithful froyo’ers., 47 or 49 cents/oz here. PS Best thing yet: we pressed that button for the vat of butterscotch and hot fudge syrups to flow!!! how awesome that they have this…4 in total to choose from. So good we didn’t need any toppings. PPS inside is a bit spartan and bare-bones. how many times does a patron have to watch a super large flat screen of local patron photos, placed on continuous loop?

Their creamy froyo isn’t that good, but their sorbet yogurt is yummies! The location is a little hard to find! The decoration of the place isn’t as cute as other froyo places I’ve been to. Oh… and wtf is bochi mochi…

A variety of fantastic yogurt flavors. There are quite a few toppings, as well.

Possibly the best froyo place in Marin. Yolo down the street may have a better name, but Swirl is far better when it comes to what matters – frozen yogurt and toppings options. This place is: painted bright colors, family-oriented, Giants fans, good pricing, and an ever-changing menu. I’m into it.

This was my first experience with Swirl and I really like the concept. The value is definitely there(especially if you compare it to Pinkberry) and the topping options were awesome! I love the fact that there are about 10 different flavors that rotate all the time. Put all of that together and you have yourself a great little spot to have a frozen treat. P. S. Our pooch loves the plain tart frozen yogurt!

Last friday we went to Yolo up the street, so we thought we would give Swirl on miller a try. first off it was dirty, only one gal was working the counter and the place was packed on a sunny sunday afternoon. The vacant tables had yogurt all over them, I had to clean up a table before sitting down. The napkins were stuck in the dispenser, and would not come out. The toppings were poorly labeled. What looked like M/ms turned out to be skittles, but we couldn’t tell till they were on my kids yogurt and she saw the little S. Line was out the door, and the gal was frazzled. Maybe the other employee called in Sick? I want to give this the benefit of the doubt, maybe try it one more time, but sorry to say we prefer YOLO.

4.5 This place is a gold mine! Packed with families. the kids piling their cups so high with toppings I wonder what the parent’s bills come out to be. But let me tell you– I was shocked the total cost of 4 of our yogurts came out to be only 15 bucks. Back home in NY the self-serve fro yo place is not this good and just 2 cups can come to 15 bucks. So really it is a pretty good deal here — one place in this area they do not overcharge! I found the flavors the week I came here to be not all that exciting. Stuck with the white chocolate mousse and the chocolate — both were very good — texture is creamy, not icy and flavor-wise it is better than the chain fro-yo place I’m used to back in NY. The toppings are amazing. they seem to have it all and even hot marshmallow topping. If you want a semi-healthy sweet, it’s worth a twirl over to Swirl!

Original(tart) yogurt is my favorite but not at this place. It didn’t taste good at all, their attempt to make a tart yogurt creamy did not work. Plus the teen(s) working there were more interested in their cell phones than working.

This place makes the mistake of the sort of frozen yogurt shop I dislike: they try to hard to make their frozen yogurt taste like anything but frozen yogurt. Too sweet and not nearly tart enough, after a sampling of 5 of the flavors on offer.

4.5 stars? Really? Swirl’s flavors were fine, their toppings fresh, their ambiance sunny but…4.5 stars seems a little high for the amount of sugar, etc. in the yogurts at Swirl. I cannot give this place more than 3 stars when places like Fraiche exist(in Pacific Heights and Palo Alto). I would rather have fresh flavors that are low in artificial colors, sugars, etc. — even if it means venturing into SF proper.

I find it difficult to rave about frozen yogurt as it just doesn’t have the decadence factor that so many other deserts possess. But, Swirl comes very close. With at least 10 different flavors of frozen yogurt and sorbets, there’s something for everyone. But what puts the place over the top is the great selection of toppings that make Swirl stand ahead of the pack. And on Wednesdays, they have«name your price» day. If you can name the price of your yogurt, you get it for free. It’s easy to see why this place is so popular. Normally I would have a hard time giving a frozen yogurt place even 4 stars. but Swirls definitely deserves 5.

The Dulce de leche may be the best soft serve I’ve ever had. Love the guess your weight Wednesdays, however I haven’t been successful with it yet. We’ve come here enough now that just about as soon as I walk in, Terrance behind the counter hands me a waffle bowl. Definitely have an addiction problem going on here…
