Best ginger cookie I have ever had and I have had many as they are my favorite kind of cookie. The brioche ice cream sandwich was a little difficult to eat and could have used a little more caramel, but was still very good. The blueberry lavender ice cream could have use a little more of both flavors. A great place in mill valley everyone should try if you are in the area.

I wish I could actually review the ice cream at this establishment. All I can review is the bad customer service received. We arrived at 8:40 pm, closing time is at 9:00. As we stood in the back of the line behind approximately 7 other customers we were informed by the employee behind the ice cream case that she wouldn’t be able to serve us. She stated she was closing early due to a large order she needed to fulfill. No apology. Just a refusal to sell ice cream during regular business hours. Would love to know how the owner feels about an employee closing early and not taking care of paying customers. Completely understand she had additional orders to fulfill but the store front serves until 9:00. And by the way, get rid of the hoody on your head, it’s an extremely unprofessional look.

I love their ice cream such great flavors like Chocolate Laurel which is their version of cookies and cream. Blueberry & Lavender. How much fun is that… The line can get long and they keep staff at a bare minimum. So get ready to wait during busy traffic times! Just have some good company while trying to pick your flavors and time will breeze by. Enjoy!

It’s rare to find a place that puts so much effort into creating an incredible product and that’s exactly what Honeymoon does. Their ice cream is incredible(they are known for that) but their meringue, cookies and other sweets are just as awesome. Despite being a small store, the location /setting is very nice and makes for an excellent trip to the ice cream shop!

Organic ice cream, what’s not to like? Grass fed cows, no glyphosate feed to fill you with cancer causing chemicals — nice! Awesome and delicious natural flavors — great! Then what gives? Walking in the space there is only enough room for a few people to huddle into, it’s like stepping into a small box. They might as well just have a walk up window. There is difficulty in figuring where to cue and to properly decipher the menu board. Even overheard someone say that they have to continually explain the menu(for example, they list some interesting names of sundaes but none of the ingredients. Also, the flavors are written in such a way that you wonder if they are part of the same flavor.). Then there is the washing hands issue — my pet peeve is clean hands before eating clean organic food — no washroom or even a sink to wash your hands in. No, I don’t normally eat ice cream with my hands, but they do have delicious ice cream sandwiches and ice cream cookie sandwiches; they both should only be eaten with your hands(germs disgusting). Lastly, the wall of candy. With the incredible amount of detail and effort poured into producing a superb organic ice cream — a big portion of the sweets for sale are GMO. «Yes, we understand the value of producing a delicious organic product but now that you’re in here, by all means, please kill yourself with some of this candy.» WTF?

Very clean taste. Rare to find ice cream with this texture that leaves a good milk taste with a film due to fat content. It’s one of the few in the Bay!

Very unique. Wonderful flavors like blueberry lavender. Hot pressed ice cream sandwiches made to order. They cut a roll(like a brioche) in ½ and fill it with ice cream and hot press it to seal the edges but ice cream in center stays cold. My husband compared it to an ice cream filled puff pastry.

Yes, the ice cream is different than the ultra-creamy supermarket brands we’re used to but it’s also delicious. Others have described it as similar to frozen whipped cream. I suppose, since I have no better way to describe it, though think that only brings one half way to an accurate description of its unique consistency. I love it. It’s creamy and light all at the same time but not lacking in body. Try it!
