Burger King

Okay it’s basically like any Burger King you can go to on the island. It’s very big, plenty of tables, and clean bathrooms. They renovated this location a few years ago and it came out looking very modern.
Now onto the price. Okay, Burger King is kind of the luxury of the three main fast food locations. Those being McDonald’s, Jack in the Box’s, and Burger. Their fries are excellent, pricey, but excellent. The burgers are amazing, however, they do tend to make mistakes so double check your order! If you come, make sure you use their coupons or even do their survey on the back of the receipt. You can get a free whopper, if you complete the survey and buy any size drink and fries.
So watch out on the prices, but if you plan ahead it’s not that bad.

I tried Burger King’s new chili dog and can only say that they must measure the amount of chili with a hypodermic needle. This had to be the worst chili dog I’ve had in my 80 years of life. Don’t waste your money.

Did I ever tell you the story about the time we had to hold out inside a Burger King against a riot of angry High schoolers? Yeah, they were trying to get at this one kid and he ran inside the restaurant and then he yelled for help and we had to bar the doors with some old guys cane and the high schoolers were like AHHHHH and they were trying to smash in the windows and everything while we called 911.

Anyway, that was years ago, before the first remodel actually.
Now that I’m on Unilocal I decided to go back to this old haunting ground, I was saddened by the remodel at first because the location has been exactly the same at least since the early 90’s, there were a lot of memories there like the story I just told at the beginning of this review. Burger King was the home of our board-​game and card nights for 4 years straight. But I digress, lets get back to the review.
The new look of the location is alright, it’s a bit too dark, the space feels large and cold now to be honest and the new staff is barely on Par.
Orders come out wrong if you make them too complicated a lot of the time and food doesn’t seem to stay hot for very long so if you’re going through the drive through you might have to pass your meal through the microwave by the time you get home.. .except for the fries, them things is HOT. The staff fluctuates between rather brusque employees and friendly ones but the food is good just like it’s always been, however we know restaurants can’t skate by on ONLY good food and here, at Burger King there is a lot of room for improvement in customer service.

I paid 11.01 $ for a double cheeseburger and 9 fries… yep… 9… I don’t expect much from fast food restaurants but I don’t believe I need to make a loan for a number 5… look fast food people you all want 15 $ hour? You think people are gonna come in burger king for a 11 $cheese burger last time for me… that’s as much as a plate lunch with drink! Posting a picture of a burger that looked like someone or something flattened like a pan cake… at least make it look like the pictures… For 11 $ can you do that…

Have you ever felt that when ordering your food, you’ll wonder if they’ll get it correct? Or if you’ll get something totally off in left field? Yes! This is the place for you! Whenever I go here, I’m not really confident that my order will be fulfilled in an accurate manner. Ask for something aside from the regular, and you’ll get it regular, or probably something different.
Example: Say you’re ordering a Whopper and you don’t want pickles and onions, you just might get a Whopper with pickles and onions in it when you unwrap it.
Example 2: Say you want a sandwich plain. When you get it, that sandwich just might be regular and come with all the fixings.
Example 3: Say you wanted a combo meal with onion rings, which seems rather easy, right? Nope. You just might get french fries.
You will always have to repeat what you are ordering, and in some cases, ask them to repeat what you’ve ordered to be sure that it’s correct. In which of course, could be correct on the receipt, but the cooks got it wrong. Or, they pull the wrong sandwich.
For these reasons, I wouldn’t recommend ever going through the drive thru here and expecting your order to be remotely accurate. Unless you have an order that isn’t customized and is normal, then it would be okay. Meaning that if you just wanted a Whopper combo with fries and a drink and that’s all, it’ll be okay.
In this location, I’ve never seen any really «new» people. The workers are pretty stable and the same ones are there every time. So it’s not a place where there’s a huge turnover, unlike some fast food establishments. so that’s a good thing.
We’re regulars here, and we’ve gotten to know the staff. They know what we order, even when we customize them. But, still, some orders are wrong every so often.
The Mililani Burger King’s location is very convenient being that it’s located at the Mililani Town Center. After the renovation which was completed earlier last year, the interior (and exterior) is nice and clean. The bathroom is also large and clean.

This location is OK with the customer service, they have the hardest time comprehending what I am ordering through drive-​thru. Not sure, what that is all about, maybe it’s the speaker and they can’t understand well and get my orders right? Or it’s just the person taking the orders. not sure.
Second time now, been here and there has been a miscommunication.
Truly not happy with this location. I’ve had to repeat my order at least 5 times and it was STILL incorrect.
I like the location it is in the Town Center of Mililani, which is quite convenient but for customer service has been bad recently.
Maybe next visit, I’ll do a walk in and see if it’s any better.

I am very pleased that this time, they got my order right. I was very pleased that I got to use my 2/7.00 coupon for the original chicken sandwiches. In addition, at least they were able give me the right items. I love this location because it’s very updated and very neat and clean. So I will totally recommend this location too, which reminded me of the hawaii kai town center location. Very modernized restaurant

Customer service was super bad took them 20 min to make a 1 simple burger that I ordered. An get workers that know how to run the register. Never eating at this place ever again. They need new managers and workers pronto!

I came in on Sunday March 23 to get some satisfries cause I had a coupon. I noticed I also had a coupon of the big king for 2.99. The manager said that not honored In Hawaii. Nowhere on the coupon does it say that. I feel that if they don’t honor those type of coupons in Hawaii they should put a retraction letter on the door. Never will i patronize this restaurant again.

The service can be a little slow but they really try hard. So far it’s one of the cleanest fast food restaurants I’ve come across.

I’ve been to Mililani’s Burger King numerous times but since their remodel, they have been slower than molasses. The drive thru takes so long that it might actually be faster to walk in and place your order. The one high point is that the remodel looks nice fresh.

This is my least favorite burger king. I tried the sweet potatoe fries from here first and it was horrible. Then my husband brought from waimalus burger king and it tastrd good. idk if mililanis was spoiled or maybe their fryer sucks. but even their burgers are so messy and not appetizing.

I actually come to this location fairly regularly for my late night sugar cravings…

Yes!
You would agree if you have ever had one of their overpriced Smoothy drinks. Overpriced, Yep! But oooohhh sooooo gooooood! The Mango fruit Smoothy is the ISH! But then again, so is their Strawberry Lemonade thingy and the Lemonade thingy… and then they used to have this Pina Colada thingy too…
But why stop there?
The Oreo Brownie Sunday is like Heaven in a cup! It is the whole reason why we went tonight. :)
Now, this newly redone Burger King is definitely updated and has a great new look! Kudos on the redesign! but the staff… a whole other deal. Depending on the crew, sometimes the drive thru can be pretty frustrating.
Why only 3 Stars?
Well, seems that the price for Burger King has kind of gotten out of control. Pushing $ 10 for a meal seems ridiculous to me. I could order something not fast food for a more reasonable price… and I do! That is why I only stop by for my occasional sweet treat.

Today I went to try the grilled chix salad and the caramel latte.
I don’t who the cook was but damn…10min to make a salad? Wth??? This happened between 6pm-6:30pm. Whoever your cook is between those times should be fired!
When I got my salad it was very disappointing! Its so small compared to mcdonalds or jack in the box. Its so not worth paying $ 10 for the salad.
Very disappointing burger king.

This is the closest «Fast Food» joint. I didn’t expect much and wasn’t disappointed. Average food… Though then came their namesake food item: The Whopper Burger. This, for Fast Food, has to be the best burger offered. I don’t like ketchup, so I don’t get it. It’s the way they prepare it: flame broiled. This Burger King is clean and quiet. Check it out.

Burger King is located in the Mililani Town Shopping Center across from the Mililani Public Library and/​or Mililani High School depending on where you are.
Parking is ample as they have their own lot and I have NEVER seen the lot full. The inside of the restaurant has a fairly decent amount of seating as well as restrooms. It is clean inside but I always feel as if it’s a little warm (for my liking) but that’s okay because I rarely ever go inside (only when the drive thru is extra busy)
I ALWAYS get my favorite — original chicken sandwich meal. Burger King fries TRUMP ALL OTHER FRIES… and they are my FAVE! The chicken sandwich is also my fave! I don’t care for Coke products so I usually get water instead of a soda/​juice etc.
Prices are a little higher than McDonalds for example… but it’s well worth it for me since I prefer the fries here.
Staff has always been super friendly! I’ve never had an issue. They are open late… I think till midnight or 1AM? Mmmm I want some fries right now…

Waited 10 min to get iced coffee at the drive through. The car ahead of me was taking so long at the pick up window. I complained to the girl at the window that the service for ice coffee was sooo long. No apologies at all. Asked for her name cause no name tag was on her. Her name Michelle…

But did I get one… NO. Just got a ice coffee with melted ice!!!

Mililiani Burger King has one really big plus that makes me smile everytime I go there — her name is Chris. She’s an older, kinda grandma-​looking white lady who really, really knows service. You can actually hear her smile through the drive-​thru intercom! Who knew a fast-​food restaurant that doesn’t pay much more than minimum wage could find such a treasure!
OK, that’s out of the way. This Burger King is conveniently located in Mililani Town over near the Walmart and Movie Theatres. The lane for the drive-​thru cuts through the center of the parking lot, so if you don’t want to end-​up trapped in Burger King, don’t park all the way in closest to the drive-​thru. Rather, try to park in a stall closest to the entrance.
As far as food is concerned, it’s par for the course for a Burger King. The Whopper with cheese always delivers, and the fries are good, but will never be what McDonald’s delivers.
The service, other than what Chris delivers, is average… nothing to write home about. The ceiling is pitched which makes the interior seem bigger than it really is, and there are a lot of tables to choose from. Sorry, I can’t tell you anything about the restrooms because I virtually NEVER go into fastfood restrooms. I value my dignity.

I hardly come here but because I saw the commercial for new fries I had to try it. Here’s my thoughts:
1. Fries had no taste
2. Flame broiled = good… WRONG. I ate a whooper jr. and didn’t really care for it
3. Whoopers don’t come with cheese!!! I have to pay extra??? WTH!!!
4. Why the hell is it sooooo expensive???
5. Taco Bell and McDonalds here I come!!!

I love the portugese platter with hash browns instead of rice! Always in the morning, there is this very friendly lady who seems like she has been working there for a long time! She is always smiling!
Prices are decent and really hits the spot to fast food!
