Sheraton Midwest City Hotel at the Reed Conference Center

Clean and comfortable room, limited menu but decent portions. If you are into craft beer, the bar has an excellent selection of Oklahoma beers and a knowledgeable staff to serve them. Tamara was especially so. Would stay here any time.
Only drawback for drinkers is that the john is a long way from the bar.

Our room was robbed during our three day stay. I had two diamond rings stolen out of my belongings. Someone had literally gone through my belongings.
We called the front desk and asked the manager to come to our room. We explained what had happened and put in a report.
After two months, we received notification from their insurance company stating the claim had been denied and it was our word against theirs.
No punishment to the staff that had access to our room. No ramifications, nothing.
It was really such a disappointment as the front desk staff and restaurant staff had been so pleasant. The two rings that were stolen were both very special to me.

Very disorganized. Ordered guest service and it never came. Cleaning staff was so so kind but other workers were not very friendly.

The room was nice and clean. Free wifi and parking as well. I was just passing through but I would stay here again.

This hotel depresses me. It’s just kind of sad and dreary inside. Not a terrible place to stay at though unless you already have a case of the blues. Parking is easy and free. The beds are comfortable. The staff was even nice enough to give me a room on the 1^st floor and it was very quiet. There is a waffle house super close by… yum. But the melancholy mood of this place bothers me.

You can hear the people in the next room so clearly, you might think they were in the same room as you. Don’t stay here.

Sadly this hotel does not meet up to Sheraton’s standards. When I stay in a Sheraton I expect the room to be clean and to be up kept well. Our room however was not. Bathroom doors and handles were dirty, bathroom tiles around the toilet area were dirty and broken, pillow cases had stains, carpets needed a good cleaning, as well as all tables in the room needed a good wipe down. I expect this maybe from a 1 or 2 star hotel but never from a 3 star. That is why I pay a little more for a hotel, you are supposed to get better. I am very disappointed in Sheraton right now.

I stayed at this hotel for the Oklahoma Association of Realtors convention. I stayed 2 nights.
The room was adequate. The beds were comfortable.
The only constructive criticism I would give is more closet space. The room was supplied with a wardrobe instead of a closet and the bar ran from front to back, instead of side to side. This made it difficult to hang multiple articles of clothing.
Now that I got that out of the way, I must say that I have never experienced such amazing customer service as I did during this stay.
Everyone from the front desk to the house keepers would take the time to ask me how my stay was going and if there was anything they could do for me.
This definitely made a lasting impression on me.

Terrible visit. Arrived at hotel at 3:50pm & stood in line for 1+ hours just to check-​in. Then we were told that there are no clean rooms. We had reserved 2 rooms. At 6:20 pm, we were finally assigned a room — but only after going to the desk over & over and asking status. Never once were we updated. Complained to front desk twice that we had roaches in our room. Our room was never cleaned the entire stay. (stayed 3 nights). First day — I caught the girl in the hall & asked for clean towels because it was past 5pm & we needed to clean up — she had me sign that I received the towels. The next day — we never saw anyone — no towels, no cleaning the room, etc. Terrible stay — Will not stay here again — maybe never again at a Sheraton. Told front desk — they reduced the room rate by $ 30 — but never an apology — also, called down to restaurant for food delivery & was told no one was there — call returned 40 minutes later. Teribble!!! The room was 205 — Check-​in was ⁹⁄₁₇ and left ⁹⁄₂₀.

We were passing through Oklahoma City and stopped here for the night because it was too windy to continue a long drive. This was one of the few hotels right off the I-​40 that allows pets.
Krystal, at the front desk, was a little rude and uninformative. She did not seem like she wanted to be working here, not once did she smile. I had no reservations and she rolled her eyes when I mentioned that. She handed me some papers and said «sign this» and didn’t tell me what it was. It was the pet waiver, 3 pages. She was annoyed that I was actually reading it before signing it. When I handed her the papers she handed me the room keys and told me the elevators were across the lobby. She didn’t tell me how much the room was, where it was located, or the size. From previous experiences, front desk usually gives you this information before sending you away, whether or not you booked in advance.
There is no pet fee, so that was a plus. The room was clean. It was a little awkward for the bathroom light to be outside the bathroom and right next to the front door. Room service was nice. We got the spicy chicken quesadilla and warm apple pie. Both tasted surprisingly good for hotel food. However, the quesadilla was not spicy at all. There was a key drop basket for easy check-​out.
I would stay here again if I had my dog. But if I was not traveling with my pet, I would find somewhere else with nicer people at the front desk.

Carpet in halls clean, lobby nice… however…room dusty, carpet in room filthy, furniture scratched, and bathroom looks like Motel 6. They should have spent the same money on improving the rooms as was obviously spent on refreshing the public inside areas and outside face of the building!

Great location and great staff — highly recommended — SPG is upping their game that is for sure… and they are usually better priced than divey Hampton Inn around the way. Watch your ass, HHonors! SPG is coming for YOU!

Let me start by saying this hotel could easily have been a 5 star experience. Very easily. The reason it wasn’t is because it was filthy. The towels were gross, pretty much every surface in the room looked dirty and there were huge cobwebs covering the AC unit. If someone went through and cleaned it properly and maybe took care of the carpet tears and stains, this place would be fantastic.

What a pleasant surprise this hotel turned out to be! We were taking a road trip to New Mexico from Chicago and after crunching the hours for the day, I saw that Oklahoma City would be a good resting point. Since we were bringing our dog along for the trip, we needed to stay somewhere where pets were allowed. Many of the hotels I found wanted to charge a non-​refundable deposit: $ 100, $ 50, $ 25, on top of the hotel price. No thanks.
I was becoming worried that I would either have to cough up the money, or stay at a sketchy Days Inn. Then I found the Sheraton, about 10 minutes from OKC. Perfectly fine with me. My goal was just to be in a well-​populated area near the highway and not some random ghost town. They allow you to bring your pets FOR FREE! That’s awesome! All you have to do is sign a pet waiver and you’re good to go.
The price was great. I booked through their website and checked out the special offers they were running (there’s a tab for this on their page). They had a holiday special where you could get a room with a king sized bed for $ 69. Fantastic. I recently stayed in a craphole in Milwaukee for $ 119, so this was a steal. And it looked modern and updated from the pictures on the website. I hoped it would be the same when we arrived and it totally was.
They have a parking garage next to the hotel as well as a huge lot. Check-​in was easy. We stayed here twice: once on the way to NM and once on the way back. The second time we checked in, they were going to put us in a room with double beds, even though I had requested a king. I told the concierge this and he checked his computer and snagged us a king room. Phew. Both rooms on both nights looked relatively the same. Huge bed, nice bathroom, a desk area since this is mostly for conference/​business people, flat screen TV on the wall, complementary coffee and water in the room, and free wifi. The first room we stayed in had a fridge, yet strangely enough, the second night, when we stayed on the «preferred floor» there was no fridge. Weird. We made do, though.
The hotel has a restaurant on the main floor and a big conference center next door. Unfortunately, they do not have continental breakfast. If you want breakfast, it’ll cost you $ 12. That was a bummer. We just ended up getting breakfast bars at the gas station. It would have been nice to be able to put something in my stomach before a long trip. However, they do have free Starbucks coffee, which is a nice perk. They have a bunch of syrups too, that you can add. They also have free cucumber water near the door.
Overall, this was a great stay. I’m so glad I was able to get such a nice hotel at a reasonable price. Happy to have stayed here for two nights and that I didn’t have to scramble to find a hotel the second stay if the first stay sucked. If I’m ever in the area again, I’ll definitely be staying here.

Nice folk. Good rates. Loved the pillows. Way too many places only have those fluffy pillows that your head sinks into. These guys have got firm pillows that support your head. I assume they are foam. The barkeep was friendly and gave me some night-​life pointers that worked out well. My only gripe … the woman in the club floor lounge was rude. I have my suspicions why but I’m not willing to put them in print.

This is the best $ 100/​night room I have ever stayed in. I have travelled cross country many times and it is challenging finding nice, affordable places that allow pets. While I would not recommend stopping in Oklahoma City by choice, if you need a hotel in the area this one has a lot going for it. First off the room was $ 100 and they did not require an extra pet deposit or fee (most places charge a non-​refundable fee anywhere from $ 20-​$ 45 for a dog). The hotel has a restaurant/​bar that serves food until 11pm and you can also order room service. While, a pretty standard accommodation in most nice hotels, most of the places close to the highway do not offer room service. Checking in is easy and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Although the rooms are small, they are clean and have nice clean bathrooms. There is complimentary Starbucks coffee and bottled water in the room. Wi-​fi is free and the room has a giant desk which makes a great work station for those traveling on business. It is conveniently located 5 mins from I-​40. Wallmart, and other restaurants are in walking distance. There is an indoor heated pool and jacuzzi and fitness center, neither of which I checked out, but always a plus to know those options are available.
In short, this is a fantastic deal for a pet friendly hotel in Oklahoma City!

My teenage son and I stayed here last week while he was attending a football Elite QB Camp in nearby Shawnee, OK. It’s a great location; close to freeway, outside the mayhem of a typical downtown hotel, but a short 10 minute drive to Bricktown, free parking, unexpected robust & free wi-​fi, etc., and a short 20 minute drive to our Shawnee destination. The front desk staff was supportive and attentive, but that’s the extent of the positive comments I can make about this place.
The housekeeping staff singularly ruined our stay here. I should have taken the hint when I found hairs on my bed upon arrival, but I was excited for my son, and wanted to stay upbeat. Housekeeping left our wet towels where they hung after the first day, took them and didn’t replace them after the second day, and left my room door wide open on the third day (while they were nowhere to be found — we returned home for the day to find our room door open!). There were few to no towels in the pool area regularly, the pool and pool area felt filthy, and it took them far too long (~20 — 30 minutes) to bring us towels and a replacement iron after I called the front desk with my request (s).
Front desk staff seemed concerned when I mentioned these events, and that’s the only reason that this review merits a second star. Hope to attend the same QB camp next year, but will not likely stay here.

Nice but small. Pros –Comfy beds and a huge work station. Upgrade to Club level for free drinks and light dinner and a better than expected breakfast. Cons — Small borning indoor pool.

We stayed here when we were traveling from Virginia to California. We had a Penske truck with a car carrier and we were easily able to find free parking as there was a huge parking lot next to the hotel.
The service is great. We got there at midnight and the staff was very helpful. The room we got was nice and clean. The bathroom had french doors which was cute. There was a laundry room round the corner where they also kept the ice machine and the microwave. My husband used the gym in the morning before we left and we did get complimentary newspaper and coffee in the morning as well.
