Best cupcake bakery ever. I’v eaten many cupcakes and have even been to a bakery in San Diego that won Cupcake Wars. Nothing has changed and this is still my favorite cupcake. Highly recommend!!!

This place is absolutely adorable and the employees are unfailingly sweet, just like the baked goods. It has a solid range of options, including gluten free stuff [I particularly enjoy the coconut macaroons], and the overall feel is very homey, in a slightly… vintage kitchen fashion. Don’t come expecting a posh french-​style bakery, just cute tables, fresh scones and cupcakes, and fresh-​made coffee.

Do yourself a favor and try the banana babies! They are super moist and not too sweet. I could eat dozens. The raspberry lemon cupcake is great too. And the little Debbie-​like chocolate cupcakes with the vanilla swirl were awesome! Very rich and deeply chocolatey. If you eat in, they happily give you an adorable carafe of water and cups. Everyone is very friendly and they seem to have quite the amount of regulars, which is always a good sign.

My husband surprised me with a deep dish apple pie for my birthday. As it would turn out, accomplishing this was no small feat. All I can say is that I was left speechless.
The bakery was scheduled to be closed for the date he wanted to pick it up (can’t recall the reason). But no big deal. The owner made me a crazy delicious apple pie and called him when it was ready to pick up. He brought it home piping hot! She didn’t charge him extra for what many would have seen as an inconvenience (if they’d even have been willing to take his order). In addition, she offered him a $ 5 refund if he returned the glass pie plate. I never did take it back.
The pie was beautifully presented in a box. She gave him the scoop on how she made the pastry and that it was intentionally flaky — a secret recipe.
I feel confident we’ll be calling on The Wicked Whisk again.

Amazing Bakery! Amazing Owners! Love everything about this place!

This rating is not reflective of quality of baked goods, just of accessibility. I drove over here in the rain to find «closed because of weather.» What? It’s raining. Yes, it may snow 3 inches at 5pm, but it’s only 10:50 right now, and 3 inches should not shut a bakery down. Disappointed.

This is such a sweet little bakery! Nice variety of treats and very fresh! Eat in or take out. Almost feels like a storybook bakery where Mister Rogers would take children to meet the neighborhood baker and learn how to make cookies or cupcakes! Lovely! There is absolutely nothing wicked about it except for the sinfully delicious pastries!

The gluten free cupcakes are amazing in vanilla and carrot cake. Had them for a function and everyone loved them. Will use them again.

After moving from California, I’m grateful that this place exists in our little town. This is where I satisfy my craving. Their cupcakes are definitely moist and delicious. Perfect frosting to top it all off. Whether stress, hungry, rain or shine, whenever the crave happens, you’ll probably see me gobbling to my guilty pleasure outside their store. I’m addicted. Help!

Stopped in last Saturday with my mom to try the desserts. We had a sampling of a few cupcakes, a orange scone and chocolate chip pumpkin bread.
It was all so good! The bread with the iced glazed was by far my favorite dish. The owners are a mother daughter team who bake everything from scratch. We got a chance to talk to them while we were there.
We hasn’t planned on it, but we ended up getting a dozen cupcakes for my great aunts birthday party instead of stopping at martins and getting a cake.
The cupcakes were a hit! I really loved the strawberry cupcake and my 3 year old niece thought the rocky road was the coolest cupcake she had seen! She loved the marshmallows on top.
I really liked that the products are fresh and farm to table. That makes a big difference to me and they always have plenty of gluten free options! Big bonus! If you haven’t given them a try you are missing out!

Stopped in here yesterday and bought a few items. EVERYTHING was great. Their Oatmeal Raisin and Sugar cookies were better than my homemade ones and everyone thinks mine are really good. The kids went CRAZY over the cupcakes. Also tried a cranberry scone which was the best scone I’ve ever eaten. They can make cakes into any of their cupcake flavors so I strongly suggest you stop by here and just try a couple of anything. You will be hooked too. I love supporting local businesses and the Wicked Whisk Bakery and Café will be very easy to support.

Three words: blueberry lemon scone. This was, quite possibly, the best scone I’ve ever tasted. It was flaky, fresh, filled with flavor, the blueberries were juicy, and the lemon glaze was the perfect balance of tart and sweet. Seriously, I devoured this in an embarrassingly short amount of time.
Of course, I also took home equally delicious and sinful cupcakes: the banana and the cream filled chocolate. Again, both were fluffy and perfectly sweet. The banana had more of a muffin taste, with a sweet glaze, which I loved! The chocolate was rich with just the right amount of vanilla cream filling. I was fully planning on sharing both of these with my fiancé, but I hoarded them for myself after tasting their deliciousness. I did, however, bring him home a heart shaped sugar cookie with «xoxo» written on the front. He crushed that almost immediately, so I can only imagine how tasty it must have been. All four of our choices knocked it out of the park, so I can’t wait to go back and try out some more treats!
The mother/​daughter duo who run this bakery are just fabulous and their passion for baking and their newly established family business is evident when talking to them. I love supporting local, especially when the owners are so friendly and the product is so incredible.

All the reviews are spot on about the owners, sweetest lady I have had the fortune to meet. I went in to get my wife a few cupcakes for her birthday and was pleasantly surprised at the different flavors offered. My wife loved the raspberry vanilla while I really enjoyed the cookies and cream. Love to be able to support local business like this, I will be back.

I called for a last-​minute birthday cake, and they couldn’t have been nicer about accommodating my request. I ordered a chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream and topped with caramel. It was incredibly moist and out of this world delicious. We will be ordering all our birthday cakes from this shop. The cake was ready when they said it would be and the people who work there are super friendly.
The bakery has a few tables and chairs and would be a fun place to visit to have a cupcake or other tasty treat.
Definitely check this place out!

The owners are the NICEST people you would ever meet. They care about every single one of their customers, and it’s hard to find a place with spot on customer service. If you love cakes and cupcakes this is the place to get it. The cake is perfectly moist ALL the time and the icing compliments the flavors perfectly. You could never stop coming back, this place is crack, super addictive. All products are made from scratch and fresh that day. The pastries are AMAZING and to die for cookies! They usually make homemade sweet rolls every Saturday and they are like your Grandma’s! I come all the time, it is by far the best bakery in Midlothian. You would never leave unhappy. The pricing is reasonable and the food is definitely worth the it!

Oh my goodness, just the nicest ladies own this place! I called today from California to order something special for a friend. The owner spoke with me and was just the nicest and most helpful. She helped me pick something something within my budget and that was appropriate for the situation. She explained that the shop was a new mother-​daughter team and I’m just so happy to have done business with them and support their new business!
Really cute website too and easy to navigate (I’m an art director so that says a lot!)
I only wish I could visit this cute place in person!

A friend and I came here because I can’t stay away from cupcakes. This place smelled AMAZING. I had one of their cupcakes, the cake was moist and the icing was thick and creamy, probably one of the best cupcakes I’ve had in a while. My friend mentioned that she wished there was more drink choices. It’s a cute little place, if I ever need a cake, it’s somewhere id definitely consider.

If you have an allergy to Gluten, then you know how hard it is to satisfy your sweet tooth! Look no further… The Wicked Whisk makes the BEST Gluten free cakes and cupcakes you’ll find anywhere!

To die for Carrot Cake. Best scones you will ever eat. If you are a member of the church of Chocolate and Peanut Butter, then DROP everything and RUN for the cupcakes because they are heavenly!
