Best Colombian food in Doral! Daily specials are delicious and affordable. My favorite is the Sancocho de Res, they make it daily and ready to pick up in 10 mins. Also fast delivery, the delivery guys is a sweetheart!. Love, love, love this place, I order lunch at least twice a week from here.

I ordered Bandeja Paisa and I was impressed that theirs comes with churrasco. The portions were big but the steak was barely cooked. The waitress was not very attentive as we run out of drinks and she never checked back with us. She never asked how we wanted the steak cooked or the eggs. My mango juice was full of some black gunk. I would not come back to this place nor recommend it.

Close to my job, thought I would try it. I ordered the chicken pepper, a little dry for my taste. The waiters were very attentive but the food wasn’t all that great in my opinion.

I usually order lunch from here. I work really close to Tierra bomba, and the delivery time is always on point. Food is always good. I love their beans.

I’m Colombian therefore I’ve been to pretty much every single Colombian restaurant in the city. I was excited when I found Tierra Bomba on Unilocal as it seems to be new and close to my house. When we walked in we were impressed by the décor and especially the pretty wooden tables. Our waiter Carlos although not rude, was also not very friendly. He made absolutely no effort and didn’t even return to our table after he brought out the food. Regardless of the already crappy service, we decided to stay and try it out. I chose the Chuleta Empanizada with white rice and fried plantains, although the rice and plantains were tasty(who can fuck that up?), the chuleta was the thinnest slice of pork I’d ever seen(refer to picture below). It was not only sad, but hard to chew. My bf had a grilled chicken breast with salad and a boiled potato. I tried the chicken and even though it wasn’t bad, it didn’t blow my mind. Usually Colombian spots master these 2 very common meals. Tierra Bomba didn’t even try. Just because your restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, does not mean you can give your clients mediocre food. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back.

I was introduced to «earth bomb» by a friend whose worked in the area for quite a while. Story is more like… I would talk about Mondongos as the , he would talk about Tierra Bomba as if it was the ultimate bomb and then we’d compare notes… so I decided to try it! I must admit I was impressed with its charming décor and a few details I thought were pretty on point. I like that the waiters have their names on the back of their shirts and I love the wall decked with«Colombian sayings.» Nice little touches to a hip little spot. Now although I’ve come here quite a few times since that first encounter with the spot, I figured I’d try a variety of the dishes prior to submitting my review. Today’s dish to me although not considered ethnic in sorts was probably one of my favorites by far. I had the grilled fish in what they would call«salsa criolla.» I am not a fan of fishy fish if that makes any sense, I prefer a more subtle fish flavor that’s well seasoned and easy on the palate… and that’s exactly what I got with today’s lunch. Nice sized portion on the bigger side of a delicious non-fishy fish in a nice well-seasoned sauce– served with white rice and plantains. I ordered Lulo juice in water… and left completely satisfied and with a full belly. Prior lunches were not as exceptional. The empanadas were great, the«brevas con arequipe» were great, juices. both maracuya and lulo are excellent but I must say the ever so famous beans are not as good here. This of course is a matter of opinions for some, but the jury is out on this and my friends seem to agree… that the beans are not packed with the flavor found in some of the other Colombian restaurants. In either case, there are plenty of other options and it’s a great lunch spot for fast and friendly service. It gets a little packed, but so does everything else in Doral so just take it all in and enjoy.

Solid food. Feels like simple home cooked food done right. Had the tostones with tomato & cheese to start-great with spice. Pork chops were great. Red beans were full of flavor.

Great restaurant we found recently near work. Everything is delicious, but the Wednesday special, crane en salsa is amazing. Big portions and reasonable prices.

The food was amazing! I went with my co-workers during lunch for the first time to this restaurant and was definitely not dissapointed. service was fast and waiter was very friendly. My meal was delicious. I ordered the sancocho de gallina which looked like two seperate meals when it came out. the soup was very flavorable with hints of cilantro. The chicken that came in a seperate plate was also quite good and the sauce that was over it had the right amount of spice. Can’t wait to go back and try something else.

The food was incredible!!! The Bandeja Paisa was delicious, lots of food and even had leftovers. Steak, chicharron, red beans(con jugito), rice with the egg on top, plaintains, and an arepa. They also serve Sancocho. Our entire party ordered the Bandeja Paisa and no one was disappointed. Aside from the great food, the restaurant automatically includes tip in your check and then leaves the option of adding further gratuity. I was not pleased with this seeing how our group was less than 6 and we were all on separate checks. Also, I ordered cortaditos and the waiter did not give me exact change. For these two reasons alone, I may not return. But if you’re looking for great Colombian food and a nice atomsphere, try Tierra Bomba. Be leary though when it comes time to pay… make sure they don’t try to jip you.

Tierra bomba, loosely translated as «Scorched Earth» definitely brings the heat. Apparently this place’s current state is a huge renovation from the prior Colombian restaurant that was here. In addition to the the nice interior, the food has been upgraded as well. The Colombian version of the empanada uses corn instead of flour and Tierra bomba’s was piping hot and delicious. I like the fact that the hot sauces are already on the table and add a nice kick. I went with the«bandeja paisa» which is a cardiac arrest inducing heap of food including steank, chicharrones, red beans & rice, plantains, an arepa, and for good measure a fried egg on top. I have had this dish many times and somehow escaped death and can say that Tierra Bomba does an admirable job. My wife had the Lentejas which is a traditional lentil soup. This dish was deliciously starchy and the broth had some deep flavor. There are also daily specials and I saw many patrons eating the sancocho soup which looked delicious. I will have to try this hearty soup next time as I am sure it is better for you than a bandeja paisa. There is also a stage setup in this place so it appears as it has the potential to be hopping after dark. We may have to return at night to experience some real Colombian heat. Otherwise, nice place to have a good Colombian meal.
