The lock on the bathroom door is broken so people accidentally busted in on me while I was doing my business haha Not once or twice but many times as I was in there frequently after all the beers I was consuming. The toilet is also really far from the door so there’s really nothing you can quite do about it aside from ask for your friend to stand lookout at the door lol That was really my only issue with this place, other than that I had a great time. It’s a very cool spot, super artsy, they have a giant jenga game which gets people to socialize. The drinks are good, the music was also on point. On the night I went they were playing a selection of deep house and techno. There’s lots of places to just chill out and relax or you can also go dance near the DJ booth. I met a lot of friendly people here and the vibe was great.

As stages in Miami for local talent are running scarce this venue still lives. Giving the local and upcoming talent weather it be fine art, street art, music or poetry a chance to shine. The venue has lots of beautiful art on it’s walls. Part of the place is open air so you can see the sky and not feel confined to a club inside. They have a bar available, and vendors selling local artists clothing and jewelry. This place is a must visit if you are rolling through Miami and want to see what the local art scene is all about.

I wish more places in Miami were like The Social Lubricant. Laid back, casual and the drinks were a normal price! I came here one Saturday night to see a friends band play for a special art show event. TSL is an outdoor bar/lounge/hookah club. The outdoor part was the only downside on the night I went because it was raining a little. They do have part of it covered but summer heat and rain don’t go well together. I would love to come back when the weather is cooler because this would be a great place to chill with friends and have a few drinks. They have a big stage in the middle where the bands/DJ played and couches surrounding that where you can sit and grab a hookah. They also had several artists set up doing drawings and paintings that were also for sale. I saw a few pop-up tent food vendors but I didn’t try any of it but it looked good. The bar is off to the side and the bartenders were friendly and quick with making the drinks. If you are in Miami and want a laid back and fun environment without the South Beach vibe then this is the place to go.

I usually only come here for the Wednesday WORDSANDWINE open mic/jam which in my opinion is the best open mic showcase I’ve seen or participated at in the area. So I’ve played here many times at the open mic and on other nights with past bands. I dig the vibe, good sushi but the beer selection is poor and I don’t really see a reason to hang here unless it’s for a music event so that’s why it’s just OK for me.

Its perfect for those artsy couples that drink .the ambiance is nice, the Hookah was pricey.$ 30 for 30 minutes. Most couches are reserved for bottle service.

I’ve been here on several occasions. Always a good place to chill and get your groove on. Awesome, abstract décor… great staff, and great dj selections! Also, very clean. Personally, I’m very glad they had the last Disco Taco’s there as that is one of my favorite monthly events. Great place for a fun, funky, and relaxing night out! A true hidden gem of Wynwood. $ 30 dollar hookahs with many different available flavors. They also offer open mics on some nights!

Went here for an event yesterday– I had no idea they were there but I wish I knew sooner– I’ve been to Gramps a couple of times and this place is located right behind them. The bartenders were cool got my drink out in a timely manner both times. My drink was pretty strong! Yes! It’s good to see a bar that doesn’t rip people off– especially when it’s for an event. I enjoyed it. The waitresses was also super nice! Venue is mostly outdoors but the majority is covered so if there’s rain you’re good to go. Lots of seating available– true lounge atmosphere. Décor nicely done– pretty industrial looking. Since it was a networking event, I would’ve preferred for the music to be a bit lower but other than that– great choice as a venue if you’re looking to rent the place out.

I read the reviews before heading over to TSL. the owner responds to a at least one review where people have complained about the velvet ropes, he says they don’t do that, no lists he says. I hate those ropes even though I can get into any club in South Beach as a 20 year local so when we got turned away at the door from TSL I was really disappointed. Who is this guy that gets on here to say no ropes and then on the full moon party pulls out the list, what a joke! Thankfully Wynwood has plenty of other great places to chill in, if my money isn’t good enough for STL on their big night, then they aren’t good enough for me on their down nights! Huge Thumbs down, they should move to South Beach, sooo unoriginal!!!

This place is a little slice of heaven. First of all, the décor is very inviting and fun. It’s a bit grimy but whatever, it’s Wynwood not the Four Seasons. What’s best about this place is that they have a great beer selection, including my all time fave, Abita Purple Haze, for just $ 5. The hookah was good and the music was fun. Overall a great place to come for a few beers.

I’ve visited this spot on several occasions: girls night out, local happy hour runs, you name it. In the heart of Wynwood, this place is the epitome of an outdoor, hipster, artsy bar and lounge. My latest visit to TSL was on New Years Eve for 2015. A friend of ours invited us, as he and his wife reserved a table(excellent table service btw). The theme for the event was Roaring 20’s, and the wait staff and bartenders were donned in 1920’s gear. The entire place was decorated with balloons, confetti, and NYE party favors for the event. I loved that the venue was not too crowded as one would expect in Wynwood on NYE, but the crowd definitely grew as the clock approached midnight to bring in the 2015 new year. You will almost always have a place to sit here(a HUGE plus for the ladies who like to wear their sexiest but most draining, uncomfortable heels). The only thing I dislike is the smoking. Given the fact that it is an outdoor lounge and also because of its crowd, you will almost always be amongst the chimneys, and that my friend, I dislike. Let me not discredit this spot however because of it; I Iove TSL lounge and am almost always down to visit. NYE was a spectacular party(probably one of my best NYE celebrations). The drinks are reasonably priced, and the atmosphere is cool and collect(no pun intended on the occasional smoke filled air). Four stars.

This is a great place for a chill vibe, a very artsy and passionate«free spirit» crowd, and a beer paired with some hookah. I totally stumbled upon this place on a random Wednesday in Wynwood to find that it was their«Wine with Words», aka open mic night which ended up being absolutely spectacular. I was completely blown away by the level of talent and entertainment that performed on this particular evening as it is unplanned and the talent sign ups do not occur until an hour before. Everything from exceptional poets, to fire dancers, and it ended with a 20 piece high energy live band where there was not one person sitting down as the entire crowd was up and dancing. I had a blast! There isn’t even a cover charge, bonus! As a avid hookah fan, $ 25.00 each, they have a great selection of flavors in which you can also add liquor to enhance the hookah(which I have never heard of before). Like I said, this place is just chalk full of surprises, not just the venue itself but the people who come here. As I left, there was a spiritual healer selling fresh coconut water out of coconuts and kava. Drinks are reasonably priced(for Miami) and they have discounted pricing before 11:00PM. $ 5.00 Coronas, $ 5.00 Stella Cider, and $ 1.00 liquor shots. Please bring your DD if you want to take advantage of the drink specials as you will clearly be «socially lubricated». I will most definitely back to The Social Lubricant. It will now be in my rotation of Miami places to venture to when you can just use a chill night with some culture in your life, and not to mention people to talk to that have something very interesting to say.

This place a party once a month which is during fullmoon . Guaranteed the best fullmoon party with poetry, yoga, drumming and fire dancers. Just an incredible time with great people. This past Friday they had a live band named Bachacao. I had the best time.

As a random stop on your weekend Wynwood crawl: meh. As an awesome venue for an organized event: yuuh. The few times I’ve stopped in to The Social Lubricant on a regular ol night, the place has been unpredictable and lacking a good crowd, but last night I attended the downtown full moon party here, and TSL was a perfect spot for the hippie dippie craziness of the night. The spot is fairly thrown together, as if someone closed their eyes, spun around, and then proceeded to blindly layout the place. But it works. and adds to the«don’t give a shit» vibe. And really, you mustn’t worry about your hair or your makeup or breaking out those awesome heels because there is no a/c in this partly covered, patio-esque space. So come to let loose and release your cares while dancing and smoking hookah if that’s your pleasure. As far as libations go, come with low expectations. Like all of Wynwood, parking is where ever you can find it and having faith that the lovely locals are keeping good watch over the tow-away zones.

Oh G! Where do I start?!? So I got one info their invites for a ‘private RSVPONLY’ invites for the Brazilian Vibe Industry night! What a farce! First of all, it was complete false advertisement as the email said the hours where from 8PM-10AM the next morning! Ha! Mind you my group and I,(yes excitedly I had invited some friends), came by around 10PM, 2 hours after the projected start and nothing! Completely zzzzz snooze zone!!! On our way out to Gramps, of course not waiting around to ‘start’ the party, I ask the guy at the door, what happened to the Brazilian night? And he said, the DJ is on his way!!! I mean really, what are we in Rio time here!!! After going to get a bite next door and after spending about another hour to two at Gramps, my friend who was in her way home already texts me and says: ‘I here Brazilian music being played! So our group returns, only because one of our friends really wanted to hear it and also I still had the itch for some Samba, to finally dance to it at TSL! I’m giving you 2 stars ONLY because of your late delivery in what was promised! I don’t know if I’ll give TSL another chance, they really need to get their act together because at this point it is way last on my list of places to go to in Wynwood!

Excellent venue and great vibe. Not your typical bar/lounge. Half the place is kind outdoorsy(half roof half open). The music is great. Haven’t tried the food but they make sushi on the spot. Currently participating in WMC(March 2014). Great drinks. Ask for Amir at the bar. I told Amir what I like to drink and he made the perfect drink. He seems very passionate about mixology. Love the vibe and the dj. The staff is very friendly.

The TSL lounge has definitely got some potential. I’ve been there a few times. It’s designed with good intentions, making good use of the warm and beautiful Miami evenings. Most of the location is outdoors, so you can take full advantage of the night sky. They just need a little help with their dj talent. They need to bring in some consistent good dj’s. They don’t have to be huge big tyme dj’s throwing down heavy bass every night. Sometimes mid tempo stuff is more appropriate. I’ve gone there before and have seen some good progressive house dj’s. It was a Thursday night, if I’m not mistaken. I hope they open up the spot for Sunday afternoons too. It would make for a good alternative to Wood’s Backyard Boogie.

I’ve always passed by TSL(The social lubricant lounge) on my way to their adjacent restaurant The Butcher Shop. It’s always looked a bit snooty in there and really never had any desire to give it a chance. We received some invites and made our way there last saturday. Place was a dead zone. I swear, tumbleweeds were rolling through. The space is nice I like the half indoor outdoor and giant screen projection but what is this place even about? The dj was playing some sorry tunes from his«2000s» mix and the vibe was purely meh. I’m hoping it gets better during basel and second saturdays.

When the weather is just right When the stars suddenly align and it’s a cool night when you want to forget the douchy SoBe party culture and instead go somewhere chill as a departure, Where parking is free an aplenty and the vibe borders on artistic serendipity, share a drink and hookah with your peeps… lounging carelessly while listening to relaxing beats. or snuggle a little closer to that S.O. you’re crunchin’ on in a place that serves as an aphrodisiac for some late night fun. or meet some cool artistic people with fire and passion increasing your culture and getting tips on Hipster fashion. there are scant few places in Miami I’d recommend Than TSL Lounge for your time and money to spend.
