i dont like waiting in line so when my friends suggested to go to wood tavern i tried to find whatever other option and this is how i ended at the bar next door (to wynwood tavern) the first time. there was only one person behind the bar and he looked like he needed some help, luckily somebody else came to the rescue and took care of everyone on a timely manner.
the beer selection is good, following the wynwood craft beer trend that finally caught on here. they also carry a nice selection of spirits and there is a burger and fries kitchen attached to the bar so if you need to eat a burger before heading home, this is it.
service has been friendly both times ive been there which is always helpful when trying to lure a loyal clientele. for this reason i am giving the bar next door an extra star.

Nothing will disenfranchise me faster from a restaurant then paying full price and receive ridiculously small portions. Now I have to go buy a second lunch!

Bar food; typically not something to be sought after. More something to soak up the booze floating in your system. The cheese burger I had from the bar next door was slamming, way better then anything served out a drive thru window. Quality for the low low, at the price I had to grab 2 and I was stone cold sober. This place is going to good for my wallet and bad to my waistline. Hoping for later hours as it would be nice to grab a burger when I get out of work @ 3 am. Also more veggie options too for my animal loving friends.

The service is pretty slow. Asked for a basic burger to go and sat there for 20 minutes. Also when I sat down to eat it, the burger itself was incredibly small for 6 bucks. The patty was about the size of a chips ahoy cookie. Really disappointing.

I had lunch here last Thursday and my bartender (can’t remember his name but he was a young Hispanic guy) was great. I just ordered a ginger beer, because I had to get back to work and he didn’t try and convince me to drink, which most bartenders do. I had a double cheese burger and fries that really hit the spot. The service was great and speedy. I will definitely be back when I have time to hang out and have a few drinks. Great addition to wynwood.

Came here after Church on Sundays (Wood Tavern) and all i can say is that Cesar, the owner, is killing it.
The soda machine has icee ice. Icee ice. Need I say more?
I ordered the BND Cheeseburger, cheese fries and a coke.
BND Cheeseburger:
AMAZING… very fresh and quality ingredients!
I was trying to get one of my friends to share a burger with me, everyone refused and I am so glad they did. It took a little while to be ready, but they give you little buzzers, so grab another drink and open up that appetite.
Cheese Fries:
Nice and Hot… Nacho cheese was great!
Coke:
Icee ice. Game changer.
Did I mention it all cost less than $ 15?

This is part of Wood Tavern. It is more casual and calm with a great selection of taps. Cheeseburgers are solid and only $ 7. Staff are friendly and work hard to provide good service.

Be careful going in because you’re going to get hooked ! the burgers are incredible and this is something i’ve heard from plenty of friends that have been here for the first time. For a person who’s been part of this neighborhood for a few years, i feel this was one of the things that we were missing, a place where you can go in, have great food, drinks and conversation. Other than the décor the staff is inviting and even though all restaurants figure out their kinks within the first few months, these guys hit it right on the money ! asian ginger wings are a must !

THE FOOD:
So I had the wings for the first time on Thursday, and then on Friday, and again on Saturday. I think it’s safe to say that I’m HOOKED! The Asian Ginger sauce is basically heaven in liquid form and the sweet habanero, though sweeter than expected, really hits the spot.
I have yet to try the burgers but they look fantastic.
THE DRINKS:
El Burro de Jalisco is SO refreshing, perfect for a warm Miami afternoon, not that we’ve had many of those lately but you catch my drift.
10⁄10 will be back :)

So I’m literally sitting in the restaurant right now writing this. I’ve been here over forty minutes for a to go order and I just went up to ask about my order… and it was forgotten about. And someone just had an issue about the same problem in front of me. It’s pretty bad. 40 minutes for a cheeseburger??? No recommend!

Came here two times with friends and the first time it was good. The second time the bartender was not that great she kept giving us the wrong drinks or would make the drinks with a different alcohol other than what we requested. Great place to start the night and they also have food. This is definitely a chill place with a relaxing vibe.

Nice décor and ambiance however the food and service were not great. The sweet habanero wings tasted like maple syrup, not like pepper whatsoever. The bartender was indifferent. The burger can’t be ordered medium and was subsequently very dry. Expected it to be at least as good as the sliders served at wood tavern, their sister establishment.
As I was writing this review the bartender ended up comping the wings, but only then did she show an interest. Hope to write a more positive follow-​up soon.

The bar opened a couple of days ago right next to Wood Tavern and from its same owner. It’s a big different ambiance from Wood, it’s way more relax and less crowded. Since it recently open you could most definitely count with the great service from the whole staff. I ordered a cheeseburger and cheese fries, my boyfriend ordered the Asian ginger wings. The burger was really good but I wouldn’t say it was exceptional, they use wagyu beef which is all-​American raised and all-​natural, antibiotic-​free, hormone-​free, and fed a 100% vegetarian diet. The cheese fries were really good, the cheese had a little bit of something extra that gave it a kick but not spicy. For the wings I have to say they were my favorite, although a bit too spicy for me (I’m not that much of a spicy fan), they were really good and I absolutely recommend them. They should look into selling the sauce and/​or expanding the menu with more things using this sauce.
