I Love NY Pizza

The service sucks!!! I was waiting for 1.5 hour for wings. In the middle of the afternoon. The wing where cold and when I complained I got attitude. I really hope this place gets there stuff together. The pizza is really good. Just the service is terrible and manager is super rude. I will not order food from there anymore.

I have been ordering from them since they opened, but talk about a lack of management and an inexperienced staff. I just ordered two pizzas, garlic knots and chicken wings and waited an hour and ten minutes after being told it would be ready in 35 minutes. I don’t know if it’s the owner or manager, but he berated and belittled his staff to the point that it embarrassed me while I was waiting. The woman that they have working in the front is totally inept. The pizza tastes great, which is why I gave them 3 stars. The manager/​owner did give me a 50% discount on my next order; however, I will make sure to NOT order on a peak day or a peak time… they can not handle large volumes of orders.

So pizza was OK, tiramisu was still frozen. And the salad mid oker… Looks like a salad wrap salami, cheese roll on top of my salad. It should have red onion but found a white onion. Great delivery service. Right on time. I’m not sure if I would order again.

They make good pizza but unfortunately they can’t make them right, they «always» mess up the orders, they have to re-​do them, phone calls are not handled properly, get organized!!!

Worst. Pizza. Ever. I’m not sure how you fail at making pizza and you claim to be from NY. This is nowhere close to the pizza I had in NY. The first time I came here I was STARVING. The pizza tasted delicious to me, I blame my blinding hunger. The second time I came with my boyfriend (a pizza fanatic and foodie). The pizza was disgusting. No sauce to speak of. Cheese tasted like nothing. I couldn’t believe I had steered us this wrong! The third time I came, the pizza was a work of art (and I don’t mean that in a good sense). There was a pile of cheese they threw on there last minute to make up for the bad taste or something. Looked at disgusting as it tasted. I’m done. Third strike you’re out.

Pizzas good but service is horrible. I’ve had two bad experiences in this place. Shame on me for going twice. For starters, i went in for a slice and waited for over 15 minutes to get the slice. Let me add that the slice i picked was already pre-​done and on display. All they had to do was heat it up. I ended up having to ask why the the pizza took so long and turns out they had forgotten to put it in the oven. They had a bunch of people working there and they were all lost. No help from the management team because they have no knowledge of managing employees.

The pizza is not bad, but it was very deciving. … I finally got to the place after seeing a guy with a big sign of an XL CHEESE FOR 9.99 … but I just came from there and got charge $ 19.15 and when I ask the lady about the special and she just response «that’s before six» but that’s no where on the sign and by the way the sign still there outside the place way after 6 … and please stop calling it an XL … that’s just a large pizza… Your direct competition is Old World and Steve’s pizza and the can kick your ass on their worst day … I will go as far that Cotsco pizza is bigger, better taste and truly $ 9.99… I’m so dissapointed and upset at myself to pay almost $ 20 for a pizza that wasn’t worth it… Be true to your clients and mostly your first time clients … This has being the 3^rd pizza place on the same spot… and the others has failed and you guys are learning from that… research, research. … I’m so dissapointed and I feel cheated. … First and last time !!!

It’s whatever I would rather go to Steve’s pizza or old world really. The prices however are really good but the pizza is tasteless and smells like pure egg lol.

WORST service ever! I used Eat24 to order a 5 cheese pizza, garlic knots and a Coke. Pretty simple, right? Apparently not. First I get a phone call that they don’t have Coke but they had 7up which is fine with me so I ok’d it. They then proceeded to call me an hour after I’d checked for a status update and they had told eat24 that they were already on the way to ask for my zip code –_​– Then it took over an hour and a half to arrive when the «driver» called me on her phone to tell me she couldn’t find my apartment. She was talking to me on a phone that kept going in and out and I had to struggle to even hear what she was saying. By the way I say «driver» because it honestly seems to me like she was running the whole operation because she’s the one who called from the store as well. She then gets to my door and gives us the pizza and garlic bread and tells us SHE’S GONNA HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE STORE FOR MY 7up BECAUSE SHE FORGOT. She even gave us a look as if expecting us to say nah forget it. We did not because I refuse to pay for something I haven’t received especially considering that I tipped her beforehand. I ended up opening up the pizza box to find the most unappealing pizza I’ve ever seen. This was supposed to be a 5 cheese with ricotta & I didn’t see even a speck of ricotta. I still haven’t gotten my 7up and asked for my money back from eat24. I normally don’t waste my time doing reviews but this was such a bad experience that I had to. I don’t know if they were just super understaffed or what but it was not somewhere I will be purchasing from again. The biggest joke was when eat24 asked if I wanted the correct order… NO THANK YOU!

Ordered from here for the first time last night and it was definitely the best dinner idea I’ve had in a while. I really enjoyed the Stromboli and my girlfriend enjoyed her chicken parm sandwich. Friendly staff and great prices. Looking forward to ordering more Italian food from here in the future and trying out the different menu items.

Wow amazing! I walked in & the lady at the register immediately greeted my bf & I. She was so sweet & nice :) we received the pizza like in 2minutes really warm. The pizza was delicious! We got a special they have 2’slices with a drink for 5bucks! Definitely coming back :)

As a Italian New Yorker I was so excited that a New York pizza place opened in my neighborhood. I order pizza over an hour and a half ago. It finally arrived. The taste was just ok and it was cold. I guess I was expecting more.

Great pizza, I loved it. I will surely come back whenever I can! Staff treats the customer with respect and was nice like every place should. This is a great new & upcoming pizzeria. Recommend it to all pizza lovers in Miami!

Great pizza and great staff! My wife and I ordered a cheese pizza, salad, cheesecake, and garlic knots, and I can easily say that we were more than pleased with how everything tasted.
The driver had a bit of trouble finding my apartment number, but was very patient and tolerant of the super hot Miami heat and eventually found our place just fine.

Pizza was pretty good! Service was really good too. This is a small quaint place. Seems like most is delivery or carry out. They have only 4 small tables so it’s not crowded. It’s a little hot but of course there is a huge pizza oven on!
I had the regular cheese pizza and garlic rolls! Delish… Will come again:)

Good specials and the pizza is better than most in the area. I haven’t found a place in Kendall I can call real new york style pizza but this is the closest to it. All in all, not bad on a rainy day.

Your company is not only rude, but not knowledgeable with the items on the menu. Your manager had the audacity to want to charge me $ 12 for a child portion of plain spaghetti. Instead of making me, the customer, happy he lost your business a sale and a future client. I have lived in this area for many years. I came home today to see the menu on my door and decided to try something new; boy was that a mistake! Never again! and I will make sure I don’t recommend this place to anyone. By the way, how can it be authentic Italian if the people can’t even communicate in English?! It disrespects the Italian name, which I am! Get a clue and learn how to run and staff your business! Food for thought! Good luck on your West Kendall location!
