Giardino Gourmet Salads

I’m usually ambivalent about salad places, for the obvious freshness and quality factor but I was really impressed with this place. Came here for my lunch break with friends because it’s right next to the building where I work and this place in particular has a good selection of fresh and tasty ingredients and the portions are huge especially for lunch. The cashiers aren’t the friendliest but well-​intentioned and with how decent the salads are and how fast the service is this place can’t be beat!

They had a huge selection of choices for salads. I really liked the Thai Thai salad with roasted chicken. Also the guava mango cheesecake was amazing!

My boyfriend and I were home and we were hungry, but didn’t feel like cooking. So I suggested Grill It and off I went. I got to the shopping center and saw it was closed. Bummer… but not at all. I saw the Giordino’s sign and I let me try there. We were in the mood for quinoa and chicken and lo and behold it was here too! I scanned over the menu and I was enticed by many choices, but I decide to make my own bowl. The place is beautiful and clean and just exudes healthy. There are so many wonderful ingredients and I felt like a kid in a candy store, well a healthy one lol. I got my bowl and went home and we were very pleased and the food was fresh and delicious. I will definately be back.

Stopped here recently to pick up lunch and almost lost my mind trying to find parking. It’s total madness during lunch on weekdays!
Finally found a spot and proceeded to Giardinos. The line was pretty long but it was moving quick. Despite the madness the staff was quite lovely and friendly.
I ordered two salads to go. Mine had lettuce, avocado, plantain chips, and a mojo dressing — I think they called it a Habanero Salad but I can’t be certain.
The prices are reasonable. The produce are fresh. The staff is friendly and the options are wide! So many different salad combinations to pick from and so many yummy ingredients. They also had homemade soups but I didn’t get to try one.
Definitely a great place for a quick lunch. Don’t get discouraged by the craziness happening outside — it’s definitely worth the hassle. And if you work closely — they will deliver!

This is by far the worst place that I ever had to deal with when it comes ordering and getting your food delivered. I have ordered a few times and it has been 4 times that they forget either my order or half of my order. Never ever again will I order from this place!

I’ve been to this location at least 10 times and not once have I had a bad experience. The people who work here are very friendly and very attentive. I have tried the big apple salad, the Caesar salad, the Baja salad, the Greek salad and caprese salad and they have all been super yummy! Their ingredients taste fresh!!! They have so many different salad combinations to choose from. If you’re not in the mood for a salad they have soups, wraps and other healthy dishes. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for something healthy and quick. It can get a pretty busy during lunch time so call and order your salad ahead.

Cannoli’s are made somewhere else, Protano’s Bakery out of Ft. Lauderdale, freshness is in question.
The place also smells horrible when you walk in. This was around opening time.
The staff are friendly and the food looks fresh but the smell made everything unappetizing.
This rating is only based on the above. I’ll have to come back and give it another try.

Good salads. A bit pricey. The only reason it is getting only 2 stars is because it is excruciatingly slow, even though there are multiple people working behind the counter.

Who new there could be so many salad combinations?! This place makes you Want to eat a salad, even when you’re not on a diet. My current favorites are the Habanero (romaine, tomatoes, cucumber, avocado, garbanzo beans, plantain chips and a cilantro lime dressing) or the Parisian (baby greens, roasted garlic, croutons, almonds, apple, Bree cheese and champagne dressing) I like to add grapes to the Parisian it compliments the Bree cheese, and the berry vinaigrette instead of the champagne dressing is also very good and sweet. Ask for your dressing on the side and you could try a different combination. Giardanos gets very busy round noon but the service is fast, and they are fully staffed. The staff is always very nice when I’ve gone.

Rudest staff and called one day to place an order for my co workers and I and they said they were too overwhelmed and couldn’t deliver or take orders. Really?! What kind of business doesn’t have time to take an order.

This place is ok. The salads are good but pricy. Given the limited options for lunch in this area it’s a good alternative. One big plus is that they deliver (very few other places around here do.

I was hankering for some greens and noticed they advertised fresh and healthy ingredients. Being the skeptic that I am, I walked in… and boy was I surprised!
The concept is quite simple. There is a menu of salads on the wall, three sizes to choose from, and you can customize it to your liking. The staff is amazing and friendly while taking their time and helping you make your selections. Your salad is prepared fresh and to your liking. The ingredients are fresh and look great. There’s even desert!
If you work in the area, it is a must go to for lunch. Stuck doing TPS reports? No worries, they deliver!
…now, if you don’t mind. I have a salad to finish!

Think Starbucks or subway but for salads … Personalize your order to have more or less of anything.
Lots of fresh ingredients for toppings … Make sure you try the ever changing selection of daily soup.
My favorite thing about this place is the staff … They don’t even blink an eye when you select a salad and make over 3 modifications to it.
Beware the lunch rush during the week day.

This is a pretty good lunch spot for a salad. Lots of variety of ingredients and menu salads as well as the option to make your own.
Portions are pretty generous, and I was able to swap out an item in the salad I ordered for another protein.
Service was friendly and prompt.
Come before noon, or expect to stand in line.

This perspective is coming from a guy who is 6’3″ and 225lbs. I don’t really consider salad real food, as it isn’t very filling, so, for this review, take who it’s coming from into consideration.
I’ve had a few different salads from this place and they’re all delicious. Really delicious. The only problem is that they’re not filling AT ALL. I got the biggest damn salad they have and I became sick of eating the same monotonous flavor before I got full. Don’t get me wrong, it tasted great in the beginning. You just get sick of eating the same thing for so long.
They have a ton of dessert selections. The drink selection is decent, but there’s no fountain soda. So you have to pay a steep price if you want more than 12 or 20oz. And speaking of price, it’s all pretty expensive. I think I spent around $ 15 for a large salad and bottle of Arizona tea.
Summary: expensive & not filling, but very tasty.

A place that strictly does salads? Well, I’m in. I enjoy a good salad every now and then and this place didn’t disappoint. The price is fair and the portions are huge. Flavor in every bite and there’s a huge selection.
If you’re health conscious or just woke up on a healthy note, give this place a chance. Seating inside is minimal but they do provide outside seating. They also have a location in the Gables. Also, if you’re coming during your lunch break, try to come in a little earlier as this place has a tendency to get packed!

two warnings: it can get really expensive really fast and there is always a line but it moves fast.
