Slowly becoming my favorite steakhouse in Miami. A huge bonus that that meat is halal, but aside from that, the food is spectacular. The atmosphere is great, the service is great, the location is unbeatable. Five star experience. Been 3 times, can’t wait to make it 4. Thank you Edge!

After 4 months living in Miami, I’ve coming to realize why the city is left out of many a critic’s reviews of ‘food-driven’ cities. I think Edge is a good example. The restaurant is nicely decorated, albeit quite dark. The servers are friendly, astute and make sure that you’re well taken care of. The issue is what I’ve faced in many other high end Miami restaurants: the bill does not fit the quality of the meal. I won’t go into details because there are enough reviews for one to make his/her mind. However, I believe there too be other steakhouses which have similarly priced meals that offer a better taste experience. I would, however, come back here were I: staying in the immediate area, business lunch/dinner where colleagues picked up the tab.

2nd visit and doubly wonderful as before! Courteous, attentive, friendly staff. Wonderfully flavorful food, seasoned just right. Tasty! Huge buffet, the roast pork is to die for, taco station, seafood station, the barbecue on the rooftop! Steak, sausage, ribs, corn and baked beans! Oh just because I did not talk about salads and desserts doesn’t mean there weren’t any… there were lots! Wonderful ambience! I will keep coming back! You should go try too…

The ambiance is incredible, our waiter, Daniel was nothing short of amazing. Very helpful with recommending drinks and food and he was very attentive even though he was busy. I ordered the Corvina and it was perfect. I’ll definitely be back here my next visit to Miami! It’s the best service I’ve gotten since I’ve been here

Let’s start by saying that I LOVETHEFOURSEASONS!!! This place has an older yet Miami feel. We circled the building to find parking, it wasn’t apparent. Everyone was helpful and we found the restaurant. I LOVE the décor. The staff was very welcoming. We got the drink package and my fiancé enjoyed several bellinis. The outdoor Egg smoker set up offered BBQ, unexpected for FSN. The ribs were dry, the sauce good. The skirt steak was a little chewy. The bacon cornbread was awesome. The wait staff and management was super attentive. The brunch offered tapas breakfast items, I recommend the lemon poppy pancakes, the fresh preserves MAKETHUS. The dulce de Leche French toast was a little dry. The eggs benedict was tasty. The meatballs were spicy with great marina sauce. I loved the crab claws, shrimp, and the guacamole. We were happy to get nice steaming hot cappuccino with soymilk! The desserts had a fruit fly issue. The ref velvet was dry, the bread pudding amazing, and the tiramisu excellent. There were two small detractions: one was a screaming baby, and parents who couldn’t get along. Who brings a crabby baby to the FS??? There was one last in service, but the manager served us in the waiters absence. Parking: $ 16

Yes I want to live on the edge and go to this restaurant again. I went to Edge Steak & Bar two weeks ago and am craving it again. Hey it’s my bday month, I might need to go there before the month ends, just saying! I don’t usually eat steak because I eat specific kind of meat(halal similar to kosher), I’m in luck because this restaurant has Creekstone farms which happen to be a halal vendor as well. I don’t have much comparison of other restaurants but all I know is that the meat was so tender and juicy. I ordered black angus filet mignon, medium in preparation and was in heaven. Sam M ordered Churrasco Steak, and loved it as well. The cheddar mashed potatoes were good but not my favorite, I’m not a fan of cheddar cheese, anyways the steak is the star of the show and i recommend ordering any kind of steak there. Our server Johana was wonderful and very knowledgable, she explained all the different kinds of steaks. And at the end brought a birthday dessert which I had mentioned for Sam M’s bday and the restaurant remembered my request which I made on the phone reservation. All in all a classy place with a classy act, 100 percent!

The food is excellent at the brunch however as I write this review I am sitting on the table full of plates that should have been removed about 20 minutes ago which is about the amount of time as I have been waiting for the coffee I ordered. It’s really sad that bad service can ruin an otherwise fine dining experience.

With the proliferation of restaurant openings in Miami, it is hard to stay afloat and to stand out at times. Edge makes its mark and keeps its edge in such a crowded market(pun intended). We recently visited for a special anniversary dinner and both my husband and I were sincerely amazed at the whole experience. We arrived early for happy hour and since it was one of those rare days where the humidity was under 90% and there was a cool breeze, we sat outside in their lounge area. They have a list of 5 specialty cocktails for $ 8 and 2 for 1 bites. I opted for the That Funky Beet and my husband went with the Smoke and Tears. Even though I’m not a beet fan, the beet juice in the drink was well balanced with the raspberry and blackberry as well. The drink was well rounded and if you’re a bourbon lover, make sure to try it. The Smoke and Tears are for those who like a kick in their drink. You definitely get a kick with the mango habanero reduction. It’s strong and bold. For the bites I went with the chorizo and cheddar croquettes with romesco sauce and the tostones with avocado and queso fresco. Those croquettes were beyond amazing– they melted in your mouth! The chorizo was just enough as to not overpower the cheddar, and the romesco sauce took it over the top. The tostones were good, but I wouldn’t order them again since it’s not something I can’t get elsewhere. They were perfectly fried and fresh and the guacamole was some of the freshest I’ve had. As to the dinner menu we opted to have a few different plates. We started with the beer battered scallops and pork belly. I’ve never had beer battered scallops and as sacrilegious as you may think it is to add beer to scallops, it was amazing! The batter was light yet crispy and the scallops melted in your mouth. They were fresh and perfectly cooked. The endives and raisins give it some texture and sweetness. The crispy pork belly was also wonderful. It was a thinner cut than what I’ve seen at other restaurants but not as fatty. It was perfectly crispy and the roasted jicama gave it a nice sweetness. We then had the tuna tartare– I’m a tuna lover– but the flavors didn’t wow me as much as everything else. I’m not a fan of anything pickled so the shallots I wasn’t a fan of. I think the tuna was fresh and buttery but the flavors were very mellow. For the entrée we went with the special which was a porterhouse steak for two. We were at a loss for words with our first bite. It was tender, cooked to perfection, and so flavorful! Our server, Armando, brought us some sauces to accompany it, and the malbec jus and bernaise were some of our favorites. We opted for the cheddar potatoes as a side and we were not disappointed. They were whipped like butter and had the perfect touch of cheddar so as not to overpower the dish. Needless to say, nothing was left at the end of the night. Now one of the things I feel made this dining experience such a memorable one was the unparalleled service we received. From the moment we got there, Laura, the hostess was amazing. She interacted with us, took pictures for us, and was constantly walking around checking in with not only ourselves, but with the rest of the patrons as well. Our server Armando was equally amazing. He brought us champagne to start our evening and surprised us with our dessert at the end. He made our night a very memorable one and we can’t wait to go back. So if you’re looking for a restaurant a step above the rest, a place that exudes character and class without being pretentious, head on over to Edge.

Finally made it here but it wasn’t for the Happy hour which I heard about the most. I came here for dinner with some friends and had the ceasar salad to start off my meal then I had the grass feed filet with the truffle fries and some dessert. Everything was OK nothing really stood out. The only thing that stood out was the service and it was great. I will go back again this time for happy hour and see if there’s any difference.

Service was 5 star! Food was really delicious… loved the presentation of everything. Mashed potatoes came out in a miniature cast iron skillet. Chips that are served for the table came out in a miniature deep fryer basket. Sliced bread was served on a wooden board inside of a paper bag. My husband REALLY enjoyed his cocktail(Original Cin). I appreciated that they brought me a bit of wine to try before serving me a full glass. Soda was served in miniature glass bottles. Guessing that there is a «miniature» theme going on in their restaurant. Overall, really good experience, great food, fantastic service. Only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because for me the ambiance of the place felt too dark and dim and it was quite warm inside. Would definitely return though!

Had Valentine’s dinner at Edge Steak & Bar on a rainy Sunday evening. As an appetizer we ordered the Beer Battered Scallops and the Crispy Pork Belly. For our meal we ordered the Edge Burger with Bacon and the New York Strip Steak. We also ordered a nice bottle of Malbec. Quality The best item as it should be was the New York Strip Steak. The Steak was cooked to perfection at medium rare and was extremely flavorful with the rub placed on it. The Edge Burger was also very good, once again cooked well and extremely juicy. The Beer Battered Scallops were a strange dish, but it was recommended by the waiter and rightly so. It was an interesting combo with the malt vinegar aioli, and the salad it came with was awesome. I was not a big fan of the Crispy Pork Belly or the salad it came with. The Pork Belly seemed too dry and the salad had an off-putting taste. Quantity Both the Scallops and the Pork Belly were definitely meant to be shared by two. Although the Edge Burger was supposed to be 8 ounces it felt much smaller. The steak meanwhile seemed extremely large. Value It was an eclectic mix of appetizers and steakhouse standards which were all a little overpriced, but reasonably for the environment of the restaurant. Ambiance Edge Steak & Bar is found on the 7th Floor of the of the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Brickell. The restaurant has an outdoor terrace as well as a large central bar and several rooms of seating. We ended up in a room that seemed meant for a large party, but was kept relatively quiet for our meal. Classical music was played at a very low tone throughout the meal. The bar in the middle of the restaurant had several large televisions, but still managed to maintain a very upscale vibe. Crowd It was Valentine’s Day so the majority of the restaurant was filled with couples. However, I was surprised to see several families bring young kids into the restaurant. I am not sure if it was hotel guests, but I would not have anticipated bringing kids to such a nice and expensive restaurant. Service Our waiter was absolutely fantastic and I was even more impressed with how well he also spoke Spanish to the guests next to us. He had a great command of the menu and provided excellent selections. It did not appear that there was a sommelier, which was surprising, but the waiter also had good knowledge of the wine menu as well as solid pairings. Parking As with most places in Brickell I prefer to take Über or Lyft. I am sure there was valet parking at the hotel, but I can only imagine it would be quite expensive. Also, there is street parking several blocks away, but it is not always easy to find. Extra A very good restaurant with excellent food and perfect for a romantic evening, but with so many great steakhouses in Miami, Edge does not do enough to truly stand out. I definitely have heard great things about their brunch and may have to come back to try it.

It’s a pretty romantic and quiet restaurant there. The staff was super welcoming. We had the Delmonico, pretty good. The coastal Mahi Mahi was also solid. Nothing really wow me. I do wish they have a better choice in the menu. I cannot pick any side or appetizer list.

Have been wanting to try this place for a while and definitely would like to go back for a meal. Came for happy hour where they had half priced cocktails buy one get one free appetizers I ordered the smoke and tears which had patron spice and passion fruit and it was fabulous. Loved the sweet yet spicy kick. We ordered the fries with truffle aioli. Perfectly crispy and a good amount of truffle hint in it was pure perfection! We also ordered chorizo and cheddar croquetas– these were perfectly fried and crispy on onside very moist and oozing on the inside with a really yummy chorizo flavor. Some of the better ones we’ve had. The bill wasn’t too pricey for a pricey establishment on brickell ace located inside the four seasons. It is very beautiful and has old school lightbulbs that are charming. Would’ve loved to sit outside but it was covered bc of potential rain. I think this place has a potential to be a 5 but without a full dining experience I don’t want to give away 5’s for free! I’ll definitely come back and experience their dinner!

Came to Edge for their Miami Spice menu. Had the Charcuterie, Ribeye Steak, and Chocolate TresLeches. Also did the wine pairing with each dish and they were the perfect compliments. I’m an FSU grad and after the manager, who was also a Seminole, found out he threw in some custom cookies for us!

When Edge Steak & Bar’s Executive Chef, Aaron Brooks, decided to launch a hand-crafted charcuterie menu, he had two things on his mind: 1) put his expert charcuterie-making skills to good use, and 2) be the first one to offer it in Miami. Kicked off last week, Edge’s new selection of house-made, artisanal charcuterie is inspired by the finest cold cuts from countries like Spain, Italy, France, and Australia. Last week, I had a first taste at this fantastic new menu, and made sure to take plenty of notes and pictures to report back to you. We kicked off the night with a beautiful platter with no less than eight different cold cuts. Upon its arrival, I went straight for the Pork & Pistachio Terrine. When Chef Aaron created this dish, he was inspired by an English pork pie, only that he decided to add some pistachios to it, in order to give it some crunch and nutty flavor. I fell in love with the terrine ever since I sampled it at Taste of the Nations, so naturally, I was very excited to have it again in its full-sized glory. To enjoy it, simply serve a little piece of the meat on some toasted bread, top it with butter pickles and you’ll be good to go. Another option that is worth trying is the Tasso Spiced Ham, which is pork leg meat that has been brined for hours, smoked and then dusted heavily with spices. The result: a flavorful and moist ham with spicy black edges. Another absolute must was the Chicken Liver and Foie Gras Pâté. The secret behind this spreadable French appetizer is that the chicken liver is soaked in milk for 24 hours, getting rid of all impurities and giving it an incredibly delicate flavor. I couldn’t get my hand off of this one, the mix of flavors is outstanding and totally recommended. Last, but not least, came the sausages, which are also all artisanal and served hot. Having Morcilla was a first for me, mainly because of the fear of eating blood sausage that my mom instilled in me as a child. In addition to its scary main ingredient, the morcilla is also made with rice and spices, and it’s seared on the grill to give it a slight crunch. This tasted surprisingly good! If you’ve always wondered what a traditional North African sausage tastes like, then the Fragrant Meguez is perfect for you. Made with lamb meat, spices, and fresh herbs, this spicy sausage was served with some cool yogurt and was hands down, one of the most interesting and unique dishes of the night for me.

Miami Spice 2015 lunch review: If I worked at one of the Brickell law firms(they seem to all have moved to this intersection from downtown), I’d be having lunch here weekly, and happy hour even more often. In fact I’d probably buy a condo in the Four Seasons and just live here(hey, you wouldn’t need a car). Fortunately you don’t have to sell your soul to billable hours or shell out 7-digits for that condo: the price of admission in July and August is $ 23 for a great lunch in a bright and beautiful space with attentive servers and a frequently changing menu(the menu changes every week and is posted on Facebook page). And if you aren’t here in the summer months, check in with the Unilocal app and see if there’s another deal(today there was a free appetizer with entrée purchase). Coming with a group, I had access to most of the menu: The Spice Menu at lunch had 2 app choices: red pepper gazpacho, or flatbread with stone fruits(both were great — cold soup is nice on a hot Miami day). Mains were large portions of chicken, pasta or a fennel sausage burger(all were fantastic, no clear winner). Dessert was a smallish brownie topped with incredible mousse. There were no bad choices, and the $ 23 tag for 3 courses was very wallet friendly. There was street parking(free on weekends!) one block south, making it even more appealing compared to crazy SoBe. I appreciate it when a place already on my radar participates in Miami Spice and really makes the effort to do it right. With good portion sizes, a cool setting and a frequently changing menu, Edge delivered, and for that they get 5-stars and my promise to return.

Great happy hour — appetizers($ 12 avg) are buy one get one free. $ 15 cocktails are $ 8, $ 8 beers are $ 4, some wines are half off(glasses and bottles). And $ 1 oysters are as fresh as they get. Dinner is wonderful as well. Money well spent! Be sure to make a reservation on weekends as the small venue packs up quickly. I will definitely return even if I am not staying at the Four Seasons hotel. For those staying at the FS — room service prices are not the same as dining in the restaurant.

I was very happy with my experience here. I was between a few seafood restaurants in midtown but came here because their happy hour included food too. We ordered fried calamari, croquetas, some $ 1 oysters, and truffle fries. All of the small plates were half off. The cocktails are also half off during this time. The Unilocal check in says you get a free appetizer with the purchase of one entrée but the waiter said he’d give us the deal even without the entrée since we were ordering several apps. The seafood was fantastic and the dipping sauces for each app were deliciously paired. The croquetas tasted just like they did when I had them in Spain, and you can never go wrong with truffle fries!!! This is definitely a good post-work/early dinner bar and they have a beautiful terrace that I’d like to explore on a sunnier day. It was a beautiful hotel and a very classy bar. There is a parking garage that was kind of expensive $ 16 and we weren’t there that long. I know we passed some lots that had a flat fee of $ 10 but it would be worth looking around for something less expensive. It was a very rainy day so it was fine, but in the future I’ll look for parking elsewhere.

Went in for Happy hour. Had to try this place as I was craving oysters and was recommended by a friend to check it out. The oysters were delicious! The price was perfect for happy hr. $ 1 each. The appetizers were 2 for 1 and the drinks half off. It was delicious and a great experience overall. Can’t wait to go back!
