Mediocre Cuban Sandwich, thought the bread was kind of dry and the roast pork slice was really thin. The cheese was ok too. This place just had an ok cuban sandwich to me, maybe I will try the pork chop next time.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had at this establishment. The waitress not only dornst speak English, but doesn’t understand it or the Spanish menu either. Normally I have the same waitress, but today allowed someone else to serve me and regretted it from the beginning. Waited so long for her to come and take my order that I eventually had to go to the counter and order, she told me that the order that I usually have was not allowed even though I have ordered it every single time I have come to this restaurant. Then took so long with one of my side it ems that we were finishing up our meal before it made it to the table. If I return I will definitely not allow her to wait on me again. When I asked dto speak to a manager they had another crew member come and speak to me and the faulty waitress stood there the entire time. This is ridiculous and an insult to my intelligence.

Good casual place for lunch. Simple Cuban food and friendly people. Clean and fast too. Definitely a bargain on prices!

I love Diana’s for a nice cup of coffee before court. The staff is always friendly and get to know you by name. They greet you and really get to know you. It is a much better experience than the Starbucks down the street. I understand the food is also very good. My trial partner eats breakfast here at least once a week when we are in trial.

Surprised this place doesn’t have more reviews. It was packed! Great little Cuban spot right across from the courthouse. Café con leche was on point as were the sandwiches. The only two negatives I experienced was that my sweet plantains were cold, but still very tasty, and that it was crazy hot inside. Other than that it’s a great spot to get your Cuban fix!

DOWNTOWNLUNCHSPOT On a corner just across the street from the courthouse and Miami Dade Government Center awaits Diane’s Café. During morning and lunch hour you’ll find a gathering of well dressed office people with their colata or cortadito and in between sips effortlessly engaged to poetic Cubana chatter, cigarettes and cigars. Inside are tables packed with patrons wanting Cuban cuisine nostalgically too good to be true pricing and served quickly by several well experienced wait staffers who know all you’ve got is 60 minutes and counting. It’s a no thrills bountiful dining experience that will never come close to underminding your Cubana home cooked meal.

The staff was beyond pleasant, which shows how bad the food itself must be for me to give an overall 2 star rating. I went for the breakfast special, and every aspect was off. Fries burnt, Lacking eggs, & very little bacon. & i tried a few other things, and they all felt stall. Besides the coffee, it was a let-down.

I love this little Cuban café! It is right across from the courthouse downtown so it gets packed during lunch. It seems like everyone knows each other here. The service is friendly and efficient, the food comes out fast, the servings are generous, the food is cheap and the daily specials are even cheaper! The pork chops and fried pork are great, long with any of the Cuban sandwiches. Great place to stop in for an espresso and an empanada. They have a window you can order from without having to go inside. Will be going back for lunch often!

This is a good downtown Cuban spot between the state and federal courthouses. It’s cramped and crowded, and always warm inside. But the food is good, and the coffee is better. Stop by on Fridays for the vaca frita lunch special.

Every time I am in downtown I have to stop in for my Cuban standard fix: café con leche and a cuban sandwich. This is not a place you go for the décor or for a real sit down meal. Its a cuban version of a greasy spoon The staff is super friendly and generally attentive. Great place for coffee and a quick bite for breakfast or lunch.

When I go to school, sometimes I stop here to take a bite to eat. The Pastelitos are delicious and cheap($ 0.80 each), the best I’ve had in all of miami. I come here just for the Pastelitos, but I’ve ordered their coffee as well. I still haven’t tried their cuban sandwich. Service is Okay. I’m satisfied.

Diana’s Café is a very unique location. From the outside, this place seems like a run down and beat up restaurant. This is a case of appearances being VERY deceiving! Food is great and everyone that works there provides GREAT service! It is convenient for those visiting any of the courthouses in the downtown area. Be sure to pick up a cortadito(Cuban coffee) for a better than Starbucks caffeine fix! Bottom Line: Recommended

Cannot say more about the café con leche. This spot has been my salvation on many a morning outside the courthouse. It’s also not a bad place to get lunch.

This review is solely for Diana’s food, NOT the coffee(which is still wonderful). Anyway, I went to Diana’s for lunch today because it was pouring cats & dogs, I forgot my lunch, and had to be inside the courthouse at 1pm on the dot. I ordered a grilled chicken breast from their daily specials menu, and had it with moro rice & platanitos maduros. The chicken was super bland and didn’t taste like much. The moro was subpar at best. Only the maduros were actually good, but they’re difficult to mess up. The best part of my meal was the cortadito I had at the end(I had to treat myself since the weather was so foul). After today’s experience I would NOT recommend Diana’s if you’re looking to have an actual meal. However, if you’re looking for pastelitos & coffee this is the place!

I have been going to Diana’s for over 4 years. The prices are very reasonable, food is typical cuban food so don’t expect an out-of-body experience. Place can get rowdy(even if your of hispanic descent). Cuban coffee is the specialty judging from the crowd around the walk-up counter — i don’t normally drink coffee. Service is friendly and prompt.

Diana’s Café serves up some of the best café con leche in town. Located directed across from the Dade County Courthouse, it the walk-up counter draws Judges, attorneys, and various court employees, not to mention all the other people who work downtown. The counter can get pretty crowded, especially at prime caffeine time in the morning, but it’s totally worth the time to work your way up to the counter and get some of that awesome café con leche. The ladies that work the counter are usually pleasant, and super efficient. Prices are dirt cheap. They also offer a selection of pastelitos, empanadas, and batidos. There’s also a main dining area where I imagine you can get actual breakfast and/or lunch food, but I can only speak of my experiences at the counter. If you’re downtown and in need of a caffeine fix, head to Diana’s Café.
