The Food, tastes Really good. I know there is a lot of Peruvian Restaurants are this area. But the food tastes Home Made that’s important. keep up the good work.

This place has become a hidden gem! It has discovered it’s identity and it is firing on all cylinders. The service is excellent, the food even better if that is possible. The Ceviche is super fresh and extremely tasty, properly spiced. I went to another very famous Ceviche restaurant recently and I will say that this place is better and at a lower price. The new owners have hit a home run. I strongly recommend this little gem.

Very disappointing experience. Order consisted of: Jalea– terrible. Oil was old, seafood was pretty gross. Hard, and tasteless. Quinoa– tasted ok– nothing special. Seafood was gross and inedible. Pieces of octopus or squid were completely disgusting, so much yuck. Sushi– rolls were ok, again– just meh. Edible but no soy sauce on side? :(disappointing. Ceviche– meh. I love Peruvian food, but this didn’t cut it. No green sauce??? Why??? They didn’t have the dessert we ordered, so it was subbed for something that’s supposed to be cheesecake, but can’t be. Just like no way is that cheesecake, but it was creamy and ok. The merengue however– no way. We Didn’t get sodas that were paid for. Was told they’d bring them– but alas, I wait in vain. $ 100 later, we’re not hungry, not because of a satisfying meal, but because our appetites were killed by a truly terrible culinary experience. (Oh. Delivery took about 1.5 hours) **update** Sodas Just arrived…

Yesterday was the first time I ordered from here. I am not convinced. I eat both Peruvian food and sushi at least 3 times a week so this was actually a great place for me. I live in Brickell key, so I am a regular to La Mar, Suviche, Embarcadero and Ceviche 105. $ 18 for a lomo saltado with huancaina risotto seemed a bit too expensive for me,(it costs $ 16 in embarcadero which is only 5 blocks away) but I decided to try it anyway. It is not worth it. Not enough risotto and the meat was not great either. The acevichado roll was not bad, although the presentation was not good either. I know it’s delivery, and everything can’t arrive perfect, but to just throw away the food in a plastic bag seems a bit too much for me. The delivery itself was quite fast. I will probably give them another chance because Iile fast deliveries, I hope it goes well. Let’s see how the do the other dishes ! I’ll put a follow up review here without a doubt.

Formerly Bento Sushi, the place has changed ownership and completely revamped their menu to include Peruvian food and sushi. Service is excellent, and owners are friendly. I felt almost as though I was getting too much attention. I started with the Las Dunas Salad: Grilled shrimp, arugula, grilled pear slices and croquettes filled with goat cheese. The grilled shrimp were excellent, the dressing a little on the sweet side, making me wish for more goat cheese tang. I recommend sharing it as a starter. Rolls are very reasonably priced between $ 11 and $ 13. I went basic with a volcano roll, which was delicious and fresh. Forgot to ask for brown rice, which they do offer. They even make Latin desserts in house, including cheesecakes, flan and sorbets. I chose the Torta de Nueces: sponge cake with dulce de leche frosting and chopped nuts. The sponge could have been fluffier and the frosting was very sweet, I had to stop after not even half a slice. Not to say it’s not good, it’s just very sweet and dense. The Cuatro Leches with Lucuma fruit might have been a better choice in retrospect. The good news is they do deliver, this may just be my next go-to sushi spot.
