Felt unwell one day and could not make it to my doctor’s office. Checked Unilocal and came across AUC. Walked in without an appointment. Found out AUC is also a doctor’s office. There was no line but you have to sign in and wait to be called for check-in. I noticed no movement on the sign-in sheet for the urgent care side for about 15−20mins although the doctors office clients were being called regularly, so I approached the desk for info on how the process worked — it was my first time ever at an urgent care center. This inquiry seemed to get things moving along. If there was one thing I would like changed about AUC, it would be the sign-in process. If someone was reviewing the list on a regular basis after people signed in, I think wait times could definitely be cut down. Nevertheless, all told, I was in and out, prescription in hand in 58 minutes. Not bad at all. The doctor who saw me had a very pleasant demeanor, did not seem nor make me feel rushed, took her time and asked all the pertinent questions, let me ask questions and make comments. The facilities were very clean and organized, the waiting area was comfortable and there is a good-sized parking lot. I would not hesitate to go back as an alternative to my doctor’s office in a pinch. ** Tip for the insured: Check with your insurance company about which urgent care centers are part of your insurance network. I had no idea this was a thing so I ended up paying double the co-pay I would have paid had I visited a center within my network. No points away from AUC for this. **

I usually write nothing but bad reviews(no really, go check). This place deserves all the accolades I can give it. My only hesitation is writing a good review, and increasing my wait time due to business increasing. Then again, I can’t find reviews on anything in Miami online, so maybe nobody will see this :) Just moved here from California and don’t have a primary care, so I ended up at this place after an incredibly ghetto Urgent Care a couple miles away failed to diagnose and treat my Strep properly. The office is clean, new, and very comfortable. The waiting room is not dirty or strange, and there are widescreen televisions all over the place for your entertainment. They have their own parking lot which holds about 20 – 25 cars. The biggest plus about this place? The staff. I swear it feels like I have left Miami(the land of terrible customer service) and entered a land of friendly, great personalities. If the check in girl laughs one more time, or doesn’t get that big happy smile off her face soon, im going to buy her roses. If the doctor doesn’t get rid of his super chill personality, good sense of humor, intelligence, and great bedside manner, I am going to write a letter to someone recommending him for chief of medicine. They even have their own pharmacy on site, complete with three smiling, friendly individuals who actually laugh at my jokes and don’t look like they want to kill themselves. Miami lacks in customer service in every way, shape, and form. This place stands out from the rest. Highly recommended.
