I had the pleasure to dine at Fuor D’aqqua last Thursday and the overall experience simply put was AMAZING. Tommy, the general manager, and staff are industry professionals. The restaurant is nicely decorated and furnished to compliment the airiness of the ocean. I was taken for a tour of the restaurant and what great a tour! If I must say, there isn’t a bad table in the house. The restaurant even has a private section that can be closed off from the rest of the table inside the restaurant for group dining. It can hold about 16 to 20 people comfortably. It has a nice garden style outside seating in the back. Christian was my server and he was very knowledgeable not only of the menu but of the restaurant history and themed. They have a great selection of wine, Mostly Italian wines and the seafood was very fresh if I can add. I had the pan seared octopus as an appetizer, Fresh and succulent, and the Cornish hen with potatoes and spinach as an entrée; it was full of flavor and nicely sautéed spinach, not too raw and definitely not overcooked. The food portion was great and the price was not at all expensive comparing to other restaurant here on South Beach. I enjoyed the laid back music played and help achieve a great dining experience for me.

Tommy your the best manager ever in Miami beach !!! Christian is the beat waiter as well !!! Both are super friendly place is beautifully designed and calm with music not blaring so loud you can’t hear each other speak. The food is great quality on a budget and a great alternative for other more well known places that are triple the price *cough* milos *cough* … Beautiful hidden gem with an amazing garden seating and extremely clean well organized space and open kitchen you can see into and great for parties as well if you have up to 200 people even … Tommy is the best owner I ever seen on the beach and is fully hands on and cares about his business and knows everything that’s going on and visits every table and makes you truly feel like your special and each person matters. His business is his love and it shows and while I was there I saw people who were Italians dining there so its a real local genuine spot. I highly suggest people try it out and give them a try considering you get great quality for not expensive money and have patience and sit relax and enjoy the experience I love this place and hope it thrives ambiance and food were on point and came out in a timely manner

Beautiful restaurant. The ambience is so lovely. The servers are fantastic, not to mention hot. It was our dear friend’s birthday & they brought us shots on the house. So sweet. Food was delicious. I would love to throw a phat party here. :)

When I read that the owners chose Miami Beach as the spot to open up their second location(first in Florence) I was so excited to try it. We live in the neighborhood and have been waiting for a good restaurant to fill this spot, with its wonderful courtyard. Upon entering: ambiance is good; there were only two other parties, otherwise the restaurant was empty. We figured it was new and still undiscovered, and sat down at the bar to wait for our friends and order a drink. The bartender was nice and the drinks were good. From chatting with her we learned that the owners are apparently a handful of the«who’s who» in Miami, and are perfectionists. This got us even more excited for our meal. Well, maybe they are still working out the kinks but the food was sadly, underwhelming. There were four of us and two of us ordered from the Miami Spice menu and the other two ordered a variety of dishes from each part of the menu. The buarrata was basic. For a restaurant focusing on seafood, the shrimp was mealy(however, the balsamic/peanut reduction was tasty), the snapper a bit fishy tasting. The crudita(think ceviche) were bland and lacked basic seasoning. However, the lobster ravioli was good. From the spice menu, the penne al ragu was just standard and needed to be salted. On a positive note, they did not have the bottle of wine we ordered but gave us a better bottle at the same price. And the desserts that came with the Miami Spice menu were surprisingly delicious. At the end of the day, unfortunately this spot will likely suffer the same fate as so many restaurants that have try and fail in Miami Beach. Way too expensive($ 340 for the 4 of us) for a mediocre meal. Bummer. We still had fun, but wish it was a better dining experience. Note: they do have late hours on weekends, so I would come back for dessert/drinks in the courtyard.

Been living in Miami Beach for a couple years now, and if you have ever been here you know just how many so called«Italian» restaurants we have. But unlike others, this place is the real deal. I lived in italy for 4years and I can’t say enough about this place. Everyone that works here speaks Italian and the atmosphere is amazing for both dinner and after dinner drinks at the bar. food is amazing and very fresh. The Burrata is my favorite. I highly recommend this place.
