Let’s just say I’ve been to thousands of bars and never in my life seen a bar close and basically kick 50 plus people out that are paying $ 15 a drink minimal with tip already added. They lost hundreds if not thousands of dollars doing this! Dade county allows 5am close! There were dozens of people hanging out that just got to Town And they wanted to celebrate their vacation and they had to yell last call at 11:30? Then they are left to cab it somewhere else? Completely ruined our night and we will never stay there again!

Underachieving. What happened here? With so much history and architecture, why does it feel like they try to be like the Fontainebleau? The dining situation and experience is less than improvised and the ‘entertainment’ mind numbing at best.
I recall staying here some years ago with my wife, eating a great meal at ’15 steps’ and listening to good music in the lobby. None of that is the case anymore. Oh well, next…

Whether you are a guest or not, when in Miami Beach, the lobby bar @ Eden Roc Hotel is worth stopping by (either on your own or as part of one of the «Hotel Lobby Tours» available in M/​SOBE) and enjoy a fantastic cocktail (really good mojitos, no surprise), super friendly service, some comp bar snacks, or even an appetizer from the kitchen.
Designed by the renowned architect Morris Lapidus (who also designed the neighboring Fountainebleau by the way), who stated «Too much is never enough» showcases his vision in the opulent bar and lobby. With a recent facelift a few years ago, the space has not lost any of its majestic, «Miami Modern» charm from the 50s.
A true part of Miami Beach history and had influence on the future development of SBeach.
*Fun fact: The Eden Roc Hotel was featured in several episodes of’ I Love Lucy.’ When the TV family would visit Miami, they stayed at the hotel.
