What ever you do, do not sell a mint condition instrument to these people. I purchased this instrument straight out from their store and they stood in my face and denied that I ever purchased the Instrument from their store that I must be confused. I did not watch the guy go test the guitar out but I Am pretty sure he twisted a few knobs tight so a bow would show up in the neck. He tried to say I had the guitar in a high humidity place can happen if a guitar sits in a case to long. Guess what the guitar was never in a humid place. They ended up with $ 1,000 worth of equipment only giving 10% of its value. Stay clear from selling your guitar here. I did not appreciate the insinuation I was a liar from these people.

This was the 2nd time I came here to see if they had a couple of things in stock I was thinking of purchasing. From the time I walked in the door to the time I made it to the back of the store, I think I had been asked if I «needed help» 6 or 7 times. I saw item number 1, decided immediately not to purchase and was asked again if I needed help. I had only been in the store for less than 5 minutes, unlike the teenagers that are playing 3 chords on a $ 1,000 guitar. I said no, went straight to the counter and requested a snark tuner out of the glass counter to purchase. In spite of being asked if I needed help at least 8 times, no one could find the manager to open the case. I stood there for 10 minutes while a bunch of GC employees stood around the register shooting the breeze with other kids. Finally the manager arrived as if he was annoyed that he even had to open the case in the first place. I will NEVER go to guitar center again. I suppose teenagers trashing GC’s instruments are more valuable than paying customers.

I recently purchased a record player, speakers, sub, and mixer but was not obtaining the quality of sound I wanted. I went into GC with little knowledge and could have easily been taken advantage of. However, Ken, and Roy were friendly, honest, and remarkably educated on their products. They provided the applicable cords, and instructed me in regards to the proper set up of my equipment. If you have audio questions they will answer them.

It’s an odd location, but well-stocked. Lots of employees around, and they’re all very friendly. I was returning something from another store, and the manager came over to help things go smoothly, and although my return was right at the $ 50 level, he refunded me in cash so I wouldn’t have to wait for a refund check. Everyone there seemed very helpful, I’d shop there any day.

Be next in line, they’ll find someone else to help. Find defect in instrument, they’ll deny it. Tell them what you’re looking for, they tell you the only one that fits what you’re looking for is $ 1,500. This has all happened more than once and somehow the manager is always conveniently at lunch or gone for the day. Horrible service.

The location isn’t that great, but I have to say that the people working here are super friendly. Just came by to meet up with a friend and help him with some stuff he bought. He got an amazing deal on a bunch of guitar/piano stuff. The staff even offered to help him carry it out to his truck.
