Property managers. What more can you say, have you ever found one you really loved. Being someone who is not from Phoenix and just officially moving here last year it is wonderful to have a company that is easy to work with. The application process is completely online which means everyone can read my handwriting(total bonus) and you are able to submit your documents directly to their email to be reviewed. Applications fees are on par with the normal around here and they allow most dogs(yay for Dexter). Move in was easy and the manager met me out at the property to do the inspection so there is no confusion in the future(which was a major issue with my last management company), the only issue I had was setting up the portal but after that its super easy it even allows you to submit work orders online so there is no confusion. I will update after move out, which is the real test! After a debacle of a property manager in Galveston its is so nice to have a property manager that is on top of their game.

So we looked at a house in Chandler and decided to put in an application for rental. We were told that the applications were taken on a first come first serve basis and each application was reviewed and either accepted or rejected before the next applicant was considered. We were also told that there were no other applications submitted for the property. We paid the money and submitted the app on a Friday. Our realtor contacted WorldClassProperties over the weekend and was told they were reviewing our application and we would know by end of day Saturday. By Monday, we still hadn’t heard a thing. The realtor called and was told that they had accepted a pool of applicants and would compare the applications and pick one. This is very different than what we were initially told and tbh made us pretty upset. They are comparing applicants against each other which means that they are not comparing against a set standard. Who is to say they are looking at race, family structure, etc. as opposed to measuring each applicant against a determined set of criteria to rent the house. Our realtor was also upset and requested a refund because they altered they application process in a way that was not fair to applicants. We waited a day and called WorldClassProperties after checking with our realtor. We got a hold of Chris and asked about our application status. His response was to hang up the phone on my wife and send a text that said«Sorry, Im busy. Call back later.» She called back and had mixed results in trying to discuss our application. A week later neither our realtor or us had heard back about our refund request or about some other issues that came up so I decided to Chris a call. When he answered the phone I introduced myself and he immediately said he had an emergency and hung up. I decided to be patient and leave the ball in his court. He did call back which was good. As we spoke, I brought up a couple of issues he mentioned to my wife and asked for some additional details. He informed me that he didn’t have any more information and was only being courteous. I asked him for the source of the information and he became somewhat defensive but eventually told me. I then decided to ask about the application process and the refund request. Specifically, I stated that we were told applications were evaluated individually, but that the process wasn’t as promised and that our realtor submitted a request for refund and I was calling to check up on the refund request. He replied, «You know man, I just dont know what to tell you. I dont know who told you applications were only taken one at a time. We always take a pool of applicants and select the one we like best. There are no refunds so if this is about your $ 30, i dont even know what to tell you man. Its just to bad. I gotta go.» Then he hung up on me. Honestly, I don’t think the professionalism or customer service could have been any lower. As a prospective tenant, I will never willingly rent a home that uses this company for PM. We have used several other PM companies and always been, at the least, treated professionally. You simply do not hang up on potential customers and then send a text saying you are to busy to talk.

I currently use WCP to help me rent my homes in Tempe and Phoenix. They are all about costumer service and understand what needs to be done to get these houses rented fast. I would highly recommend using them!

I lived in a condo that was eventually managed by World Class Properties(First by Arrowhead). I had lived there for 4 years. I ensured that I was present for my exit walk-through. I wanted to see anything that they were going to notate as deficient so that I didn’t get charged some exotic fee for something stupid. Rocky came out to do the inspection(he actually used to work for Arrowhead) and he did a quick walk-through and said it all looked good. A few weeks later I get a letter from the property owner saying that I am only getting $ 390/$ 1095 of my deposit back. I got charged for everything at their inflated prices. As part of the original contract with Arrowhead I paid for exit carpet cleaning, but guess what, I got charged again for it on the exit at a tune of $ 120. I’m sorry, but why did I pay for it up front, and then at the end? Not only that, but every day I hear carpet cleaning specials to do your entire house for $ 80(i.e. Zerorez). Of course, painting cost hundreds(I scrubbed all the walls down, all of them), and they even charged me for oil on the garage floor. Damn, WTF? What do you want me to do, park in the street? I cleaned all the appliances with a fine tooth comb, and they said they had to clean that stuff too. In all, I spend 3 weeks cleaning that place only to have them come back and say it needed to all be done again. If I had known that they intended to charge me for everything then I would have just moved my furniture out, vacuumed, and then mailed them the damn keys — especially since everything was supposedly kosher at the exit walk-through. Don’t say everything is OK if you intend on raping me a week later. I understand that they want their property back in the same condition they gave it in… but there is this thing called normal-wear-and-tear. Problem is, most of these shitty ass companies know that most people won’t fight them in Small Claims court so they do it and get away with it.
