Mercer Island Service Center

This service center is AMAZING! They are the most honest and trustworthy people I know. We had a car problem and took it to MISC because of the other reviews on Unilocal and every single positive post was true.
MISC doesn’t pay for advertising because they let their work speak for itself and it truly does.
All I can say is thank you for being honest hardworking individuals who care more about customer satisfaction than making an easy penny.

Great service! Took my car in to have it checked out, (knowing it was a ball joint issue) and these guys were great. They had my car for about 2 hours and informed me of the bad ball joints (which I already knew), but also told me that I was pretty lucky considering that one of the joints was so bad that I would have likely lost my wheel with just another trip around the block. Somehow the bolt failed and had worked its way out of the connection. The mechanic went ahead and tightened it back up for me so I would be safe, and then gave me a referral to an under body specialist for full repair, since they didn’t have the proper equipment to do it there. What did their service cost me? $ 35. Wonderful, honest guys. I will absolutely return!

I took my ancient Honda Odyssey in to MISC for a pre-​travel check up. My previous mechanic had given me a huge list of things that needed to be fixed but I wanted to see what the guys at MISC had to say. Well, their list was a LOT shorter. They told me what would need to be done eventually and what should be done now, and they gave me a good price. The car drives great. Now, we just have to wait and see if it makes it all the way to central CA in the middle of winter. Fingers crossed.
The team at MISC seems to have a good grasp of the needs of older cars and their owners. Thanks for the great work, guys!

They do a really good job. Honest, not too expensive and trustworthy. I definitely recommend them.

This morning I took my Nissan in to MISC to get a quote for a bunch of work the Nissan dealer assured me was critical I get on my Armada. Just left MISC having picked up my car and paid… ZERO. They looked at everything (leaky transfer case, dirty transmission fluid, power steering leak, etc.) and found nothing wrong. These guys are fantastic!

These guys rock. I have a Volvo XC90 that is still under warranty at Barrier, however, whenever I have had a quote on something not covered, I always take it to MI service center and they have always charged half, if not less, than Barrier.
The last time I went in, I had gotten a quote from Barrier for over $ 500 and the crew at MI Service Center did for free. They said that all they had to do was take an air gun to some clogged lines, when Barrier had wanted to take everything apart and over do it.
I trust these guys to be straight up and to give you an honest deal. That is saying a lot for a car mechanic.
