Came in on a Friday night. They were serving a big party. So they didn’t bother giving us napkins or setting up the table properly or even giving us the beverage menu. After waiting for twenty minutes for our food we asked them to hurry. They said no can do because we are serving a big party. The food was fairly average. I’ve had better falafel and kebabs.

Came here for a late lunch so the place was pretty much empty and since the weather was so nice, we sat outside in the patio. Again, since there weren’t many people, the waitress was super attentive. i don’t know how it would be during peak lunch time… Anyway, after we ordered, we were served bread and olive oil/balsamic vinaigrette mixture while we waited, which I loved! I ordered the Chicken Shish Kebab. Very nice portions. Meat was very tender and I loved the accompanying salad. Dressing was a little overpowering but honestly I like it that way XD Overall, really enjoyed this this. Flavorful, good portions, and only 10 bucks! Decided to get dessert before we left. We got the chocolate baklava with chocolate and vanilla ice cream. I actually thought the baklava would have cocoa baked into it but it was actually just normal baklava with chocolate syrup drizzled on top. And so here is where one point is subtracted. This was probably the oiliest baklava I have ever tried. Every bite had oil oozing out of it and it was most definitely oil because there was no taste but it had the consistency of oil. I guess they fried it for WAY too long and it was more oil than pastry. I couldn’t eat more than two bites and asked my co coworker to eat the rest of my pieces as well as his own. i totally dominated on the chocolate ice cream though. Next time, I’ll only get ice cream if I want to get dessert. never again, baklava, never again. So if you’re ever in the area and want some Turkish/Mediterranean food, definitely give this place a try! Opt out on the baklava though!

The food at Sultana is just delicious. Don’t leave Menlo Park or SMC without eating at Sultana first.

Everything was so good: the service and the food! Our waitress checked up on us constantly! She recommended the Pom Salad n it was soooooooo good. We also had the Divan kebab and the chicken shish! Both were bomb as well! Will definitely come back if I’m ever in the area!

I love moussaka. Here’s the best moussaka I’ve ever had. Flavors well-balanced, not too heavy on the potatoes, evenly spiced but not at all bland, and at the same time not at all garish or obnoxious. It was what it was supposed to be, and excellent. Get that. Enjoyed it with a glass of Turkish wine, Sevilay — a tasty, moderate wine, simple but delicious. Get that. Came here with friends Jim and Selma from Los Angeles and Paul from Hampton Roads. Paul comes here every time he’s in town and gets the beyti kebab every time. He left just a scosh of sauce on his plate and I snuck a taste — yah, may get that next time — get that. The L.A. contingent got things I can’t remember and they didn’t leave enough for me to try(some friends, eh?), but they loved them. Whatever they had, get that. Selma and I enjoyed an order of baklava, two pieces of just about heaven. It’s not that sticky stuff with tough crust, which I love — it was delicate, lightly sweet and subtle. It fit the restaurant’s aura, and it was great. Get that. The store is beautiful inside, inviting and comfortable, well-appointed for a casual and wonderful time. There’s a room at the side where you can enjoy the company of a big group. The service was excellent, friendly, attentive and unobtrusive. I hope to go back. Go there.

I was going to give this place 4 stars, because their food is good. The pomegranate kebab and chocolate baklava are delicious! But towards the end of the dinner, they kept coming by literally every 1 minute(each time, a different server) saying, «Are you guys done? Are you done now? Can we take this?» We just said a minute ago we aren’t done, what makes them think we’ll be done in 1 minute? And then again in another minute? This happened ATLEAST6 times in a row, we thought they wanted us out.

Best med food we’ve had in the Palo Alto area. Chicken kebab(I know, totally safe) was excellent. My wife cut me off at two beers, but I could have had three.

Believe it or not! I had to take someone for his birthday here and thought it is great place to take… first of all not a good customer service and the worse thing happened was that my mom found hair in her plate and food was cold. It was our first and last time to have dinner there.

Ordered off eat24 with high hopes seeing all the positive reviews. So disappointed. Order took about 2 hours to arrive. Embarrassingly enough our friends we were having dinner with made an order off door dash that came an hour before ours. When food finally came we found out the order was completely wrong. Ordered mezze trio, beyti kebab, and rib eye shish. Instead I got some mushed mixture app, musakka, and a Greek salad… should be 1 star but the food was pretty good for everything being wrong.

I came on a Friday night where the restaurant was about 40% full and, while the food is good, I was originally told that there was a wait time of about 30 minutes and I ended up waiting a little over an hour to receive my food. While there are many things I can nitpick at and criticize, perhaps it was just an unfortunate day possibly due to being understaffed. To sum up my experience very briefly: the table across from me asked for the status on a cup on tea twice which ended up taking about twenty minutes to bring out.

Lovely light lentil soup and tasty pomegranate salad with cheese; nice hearty table bread with good olive oil balsamic dip. Lots of good vegetarian options. Pretty atmosphere and courteous staff.

Nice restaurant itself, during my visit it was not overly crowded and the physical layout is great to prevent it from becoming a really loud environment. They have great service. Food is A-OK, definitely not my favorite Mediterranean cuisine provider, but it’s a modern California twist that many will enjoy! Definitely fresh ingredients and I thought their Hummus and Naan were delicious. If you are looking for a good Mediterranean spot and you don’t want to drive all the way to Sunnyvale for DishDash — try it out :), you’ll probably dig it.

We came on a Wednesday night, it was quiet on a weeknight with lots of seating. We had the falafel and lamb pizza for appetizer. The falafel was crunchy on the outside and soft and warm in the inside. The lamb pizza was exquisite, lightly spiced and flavorful. My veggie moussaka was fresh and the couscous perfectly made with just the right texture. A very nice restaurant with solid good food.

I took some clients here for lunch and the food was delicious! I never ate Turkish food before and I’m a fan. I ordered the seafood(salmon and prawns) kabob that came with orvo rice and it was tasty. The atmosphere was chill and relaxing. Customer service was great. I will definitely be back again.

This place looks a little fancy from the outside, but is a pretty comfortable and nice place to eat. We had the lamb wrap which was solid. My friend didn’t want to new stuff so I’ll need to go back and explore more of their menu! Wait staff was friendly, and is a nice place to go on a casual date. Close to downtown Menlo Park so you can stroll down there afterwards too.

Really friendly and helpful staff. There was a great atmosphere with the option of outdoor dinning which felt like a hidden garden, although we chose to eat inside. The food was fast, fresh and delicious. We had no complaints about any of it. We typed in Greek in our Unilocal search and I wouldn’t classify it as such, but good Mediterranean food regardless. Don’t expect to eat a gyro here. And we topped it all off with your classic baklava and the not so classic chocolate baklava with ice cream. Both delicious!

Very attentive staff. Service was excellent. The décor is near eastern yet understated, and very elegant. The food was so-so. Nothing to write home about. I had the Sultana Salad with Chicken. The already-added dressing was very bland, and the chicken was tough, chewy, and burnt in places. The raisins in the salad were a nice touch though. The house coffee is also good and you are given free refills. I would go there again and perhaps try a different dish.

Sooo delicious! It’s a been a while since I have been to a restaurant that served such an amazing food. We had a cold appetizer meze, kebobs with yogurt and pomegranates, lamb skewers over burgul and manti. Wow!!! The meat was cooked just right and melted in your mouth, the salads seasoned perfectly and the selection of dishes was just right. Although manti had too thick of s skin to my taste, the flavor was still great(especially after dollop of the spicy sauce).

Really enjoyed this place. Nice little restaurant that’s probably a wonderful little spot on a sunny day on account of their patio. We had the vegetarian mezze which was very good across the board. However, one negative on the appetizer front is the bread. I really wasn’t good. I think going with pita might make experience better. We had the moussaka and the pistachio kebab. Both were great. I’d go as far as to say the kebab, which I requested extra spice, is one of these best things I’ve eaten on the peninsula.

Loved the food! They have a nice patio for AL fresco dining. My salmon was super tender, babaganush was flavorful. The baklava was also one of the best I’ve had in the bay area… not too sweet, moist and not too flakey.
