Shirins For Hair

Shirin is been doing my hair for 5 years now. I love it every time! She’s amazing at what she does. My color and cut always perfect. She does my extensions every 8 weeks and she does an amazing job! Always so natural and feels so comfortable. Shirin is an expert and one of the best stylist I ever known. She’s a perfectionist and loves what she does. Thank you Shirin for making my hair beautiful!

Shirin has reinvented my hair time and time again for over a decade. It’s hard to not fall in love with the number of compliments I get on my hair as a result of her genious touch.
I refer all my friends to Shirin when they want a quality, high-​end hair style. You will love her!

I hadn’t really come across a stylist I actually liked until Shirin, who was recommended to me by a close friend (who incidentally found out about Shirin through her husband, who has tricky white-​boy-​fro hair and was the first to start coming to Shirin). That I can schedule my appointments online at any time is a bonus :)
I have quite fine hair for someone with near-​black hair and Asian blood, and while I’ve never been one to put a lot of emphasis on doing anything special with my hair, through the simple act of caring for it throughout my life, I’ve kind of come to know a few things about it. I said nothing while Shirin assessed my hair for the first time, and her observations were spot-​on for my hair’s tendencies and needs, which definitely impressed me. The only other person I can think of who has that kind of a solid read of my hair is my mother, who cut my hair when I was young and afraid of strangers with scissors. Shirin has also worked magic with my hair with the cut she recommended – my hair has never looked so good and needed so little maintenance! I’m not entirely sure how she does it, but she really understands the way hair grows and moves, and has somehow my thin, lifeless locks into something with motion and body even without any products. The only point at which it starts looking odd is when my bangs get too long; the rest of it grows out completely gracefully. If the phrase were not becoming so old hat, I would call this haircut (and/​or hairstyle) life-​changing. Either way, my hair has never looked so good as it does now!
Shirin herself is also a pretty fun and lively character, and has a certain flair for the dramatic in the way she cuts hair. She’s very meticulous and also quite animated, which is not something I would have expected to come across in a hair stylist, but nevertheless enjoy. Her haircuts are absolutely worth every penny :)

I stopped going to Shirin about a year or so after writing the 2007 review. Mainly because she kept not showing up to scheduled appointments. I apologize to anyone who had a similar experience because of my old, glowing review.

Shirn has been doing my hair for years and many of my friends go to her because they love my hair! I can’t imagine going to any one else! She listens to what you want and is very professional. If you are not happy with your hair, contact Shirin and you will not be sorry!

Many hairdressers only cut hair or care about what style they like. Shirin understands hair and how it works, and matches a hair style and treatment to the type of hair you have. Her instincts are very good, and her sense of style and design are better than any others I have worked with. I was actually using another hairdresser at her previous shop, and insisted on changing over once I got the chance to see her at work. If you can get into her schedule, take it and keep it!
