The food is fantastic and the staff makes you feel at home. The chicken pesto salad plate is my favorite.

The Best deli in town. I had pesto chicken and roast beef sandwich with coffee. All the ingredients was very fresh. Taste and quality is much better than the deli in Saratoga downtown. I will definitely come back and try other sandwiches.

Following Unilocal reviews I stop in for a quick lunch at this new for me place. The service was wonderful and helpful. The food was delicious and exactly what I wanted. Can’t wait to eat here again

Delicious chicken pesto sandwiches on sliced bread. Great coffee and a very nice staff. Too bad they’re never open during the times indicated on their Unilocal or on their business card. Maybe they close early? Or just arent coordinated with their scheduled times.

Had a delicious club sandwich on toasted sour dough. Friendly and nice patio, although small. If you don’t know where this place is, you’ll go right pass it. Tucked in the corner slot of a small strip of stores.

Friendly service, healthy, simple food like sandwiches, soups, salads, and a good selection of coffee. Very low-key atmosphere, great place to come for a quick lunch and to feel like a local. I’ve been coming here for about a year now, and they always remember my order and treat me like family. Love this spot!

Great food. Loved the Dutch crunch pastrami and café latte. Really friendly owners. Magnificent outdoor seating under the wisteria arbor

Nice patio and staff. Just ok sandwich. Only 2 thin slices of turkey on it. Delicious bowl of chicken gumbo soup(but only saw 1 cube of chicken, mostly rice and okra). Both the dutch crunch and 9-grain breads were a little hard, possibly getting old. Only can and bottle sodas and teas. Great price… $ 19 for a sandwich, a half sandwich with soup, and a coke.

Very friendly staff. My sandwich was just ok. The roast beef had that ham-like constancy like it was a very processed piece of meat.

I went to the café and ordered the club sandwich. Used my credit card for the purchase which was $ 8.20 just the other day I checked my account to find out that they altered the charge and changed it to $ 9.99 this is not ok! I would highly suggest that you DONOT use a credit or debit card at all with them.

The staff is so friendly! I went at 7am. It’s not like starbucks where they are only friendly to the regulars. This was my first time in, I had a warm welcome, and the owner knew the other guest by name. What a great little place. I ordered a large coffee– which is delicious. Half French roast and half moca java, it’s a standard mix they had. I’m not playing scientist first thing in the morning. And an everything bagel and cream cheese. My total was 5.45 $. So on that note it’s comparable to other coffee shops. Id come here any day over the starbucks next door. Just based on the taste of the coffee and the customer service! Hats off to an amazing little spot! See ya tomorrow :)

Came here after a trip to the webb family ranch for pumpkin patching. It was close by and had decentt reviews. Thier was a group of us so we wanted something easy with a lot of space. I would give this place 3.5 stars but we all know Unilocal doesn’t let you do that. Lots of seating inside and out so if you have a large group its a good place to go. The sandwiches are okay. Nothing to really write home about. We went on a Sunday and the bread didn’t seem the freshest. It wasn’t stale but it wasn’t fresh that day if you know what I mean. I got the pastrami and provolone with a snapple drink. All in all just over $ 10. I guess for Los Altos that in’t bad but the meat was average and the price is high. I like Woodside Deli way more than this joint. The staff was nice and they have lots of different coffee available. If you are in the area and looking for a sandwich it’s a decent place to go but there’s probably somewhere that tastes a little better in a 5 – 10 min driving range.

Another haven of the weekend warrior cyclist wannabe, it sports an outside patio and friendly service. Just wanted to get a chai to go post meal. They use the Oregon chai mix and it might be a bit on the sweet side. However if you like to lounge with the cyclists after you’ve ridden say 3 miles, you can certainly do it here.

The people who work here are very nice. I have always had very friendly service, and the food has been good. They have great soups and all in all a good little café. It’s hidden in the corner of a little complex, but it’s definitely worth a try if you need a quick lunch in the area. They have plenty of seating outside and a little bit inside.

Back in the day when I ate meat I used to love to come to Plantation for a big fat turkey sandwich. Dutch crunch roll was always fresh and crunchy and turkey was… turkey-y? I don’t know how to describe turkey, come to think of it. Being a vegetarian, I havent had the damn stuff in so long I really don’t know what to say, but point being, they have damn good sandwiches. Enjoying a sandwich and drinking an iced tea at their outdoor seating area is definitely one of my missed guilty pleasures of summer. Check it out sometime. Definitely on par with Luttikens across the street.

How I found this place is quite a story! I was going to Luttiken’s for sandwiches as my favorite Quizno’s had closed in Palo Alto and the reviews for the other Quizno’s on Unilocal were a bit ‘iffy.‘ I had eaten at Luttiken’s on a ten mile bicycle ride with some friends and thought that would do the trick. Well they don’t open on time(8:00 A.M. on Saturdays) and I was standing at their door totally in panic. So I looked up and down the Alameda and found this place which was open. I needed a bunch of fresh sandwiches for a crew to go sailing with and really need them in a hurry! The lady behind the counter was most helpful and got out the ingredients to make the sandwiches. I just wished she had asked what kind of bread as she used the normal sliced instead of a roll, but hey, I was in a panic and needed to get to the boat on time with all the food for the crew, so this worked out great in a pinch! It is sort of coffee house deli kind of place and the regular early risers had already staked their favorite tables and read the paper by the time I got there. The sandwiches were greatly appreciated by the crew too. So thanks for being open and willing to fill out my order!

Great great great! I’ve sampled sandwiches from a few cafes in the Menlo Park area and this definitely takes the cake. It satisfies in a range of ways — an accomplishment of a true great business. The ingredients were of fresh and high quality. This was the first dutch crunch bread I enjoyed eating.(That’s blasphemous, I know) The size of the sandwich is great for the price. The service is great! The cashier was kind and courteous, offering up friendly smiles while taking my order. I sat for about 5 minutes and my sandwich was ready to go. This all happened during a business lunch hour. Though I took my sandwich to go, I would come back here just to chill. The café was stocked with books and games for patrons to use while there. A solid effort at making the establishment friendly and open to their customers! Excited for my next stop at Plantation Deli Café!

Gets very very busy during lunch time. Tons of kids stop in here and eat as well as fellow joggers and housewives in the area. I got the ½ salad and soup here. I ordered it to-go. Surprisingly, didn’t take long at all! My chicken gumbo was hot and delicious with the right amount of spice. My ½ caesar salad was mixed well with fresh grape tomatoes and olives. And the piece of bread and butter they give you with your meal was just the right touch with my gumbo. The bread soaked up the juices so well! Mmmm mmm! The desserts they had displayed looked bomb too! But I’ve been a huge mcfatty lately so I couldn’t look at them for longer than 3 secs or else I would have purchased something. The Koreans here work hard and fast. Definitely a good spot for lunch if you’re in the MP area.
